The Main Character is the Villain
Chapter 295: This Is the End (3)
"Sir Priest. Are you okay?"
AA was looking at me with a worried face. I forced a smile and nodded my head.
"Yes. I am fine."
My chest continued to pound. Power overflowed from my body and my shoulders heaved. I roughly knew the cause. The Stigma of Evangeline awakens demons. Therefore, as a half-demon, my blood was boiling as well. I did not know if Evangeline knew this and prepared this magic, but thanks to her, I was in a state of extreme excitement.
"Are you really okay?"
I felt like I could rape AA right now without hesitation. I looked at her figure that revealed her curves and her thin waist. I looked at her thighs armed with greaves and her knees wearing knee pads. Wouldn't it feel amazing if I tore off her pants, laid her down on the floor, and forcibly pounded into her?
"Sir Priest?"
Lost in such thoughts, I belatedly came to my senses at AA's call. I was so aroused I felt like I was going to lose my mind. One must always distinguish the time and place. If it wasn't done on a bed, the mood would be ruined.
"Yes. I am okay."
I barely suppressed my sexual desire and looked at the door. Since the Stigma of Evangeline was activated, it was obvious that the outside was in chaos right now. According to Sibanne's explanation, bizarre demons called Babatu would create Human Weapons. I lifted my mace and spoke to AA.
"Let's go out for now. Seeing as how screams continue to be heard from outside, it seems the fight is intensifying."
"Are you really okay? Your eyes are flashing brightly."
"It's because they glow in the dark."
AA stared at me with a bewildered face. I smiled at her once and stepped outside first. It was because I felt like I would really cause an accident if I did not release this boiling feeling somewhere. I checked the status window at the same time I opened the door.

I could really rape the Hero, couldn't I? Unconsciously, I looked at AA again. AA flinched and stepped back slightly when I stared at her. She asked with an anxious face, as if she had read something from my expression.
"Sir Priest?"
Clang!
The sound of a knife fight could be heard from beyond the door. I reflexively turned my head in that direction again. Monsters with appearances I had never seen before were indiscriminately charging with their teeth bared. And facing those monsters, Eve was clashing her sword against them. Next to Eve, Elsi was holding a claw and helping her.
"Fuck!"
I unconsciously spat out a swear word and rushed in holding my mace. Eve felt my presence approaching from behind and turned her head. Her face was full of bloodstains. Her clothes and weapon were covered in blood to the point where it was impossible to tell how many she had killed. Even while steeped in fatigue, Eve smiled brightly and teared up when our eyes met.
"H-Husband!"
I did not have the leisure to answer Eve. I tightly gripped the mace with both hands and swung it with all my might. The face of the monster that met the mace was blown wide open as if struck by a cannonball. At the same time the monster shattered to pieces, the monsters swarming from behind it exploded one after another. AA, who ran up belatedly, looked at me with a bewildered face.
"Are you okay? Yeah? You didn't get hurt anywhere, right?"
Eve nodded her head and hugged me tightly. Elsi also clung closely to me. A metallic smell of blood drifted over, but I did not care.
"Cleric. I was worried. I missed you."
"I missed you too. Elsi."
After rubbing lips with Eve once, I also mixed tongues with Elsi. My tongue felt sore from being scraped, but since both of them were safe, I could at least do this much. Eve, having caught her breath, asked.
"What happened? Did you kill that guy called the Head of the Church?"
"I killed him. The fucking bastard. How is the situation outside?"
"I don't know. The soldiers are probably holding them off, right? We did drag some of them in here. There should still be a lot left."
"Then we should go."
At my words, Elsi and Eve nodded their heads. AA also readied her sword and made a resolute expression. Screams could already be heard as we went down the stairs. A chaotic melee was taking place between the knights and the demons as the square formation collapsed. It was already too late to reorganize the lines. The demons were doing their best to break through the soldiers, and the soldiers and knights were hell-bent on catching and killing the demons.
"Let's go!"
With my shout, we charged toward the demons. The demons, who were completely exposing their backs, were a great EXP source for us. With one hit from my mace, a demon's spine broke and it sprawled onto the floor. At the appearance of reinforcements, Albus shouted.
"Cover Sir Hero and Sir Priest!"
And James, who was next to him, severed a demon's neck and shouted.
"For Mila!"

"P-Please wait!"
At the very moment Sieri was about to accept death, there was a woman who blocked the path between the mages and Sieri. Leaning on her staff in a slanted posture, she somehow spread her arms wide to try and shield Sieri with her body. Seeing the woman's unexpected behavior, Sieri was startled and muttered.
"S-Soya?"
"P-Please wait! S-She is a demon, but... I mean, I mean this is! It must be some kind of...! Some kind of scheme by the demons! Ms. Sieri is a very devout believer of the Archdeity Church, and she is also the wife of Lord Peta Lucius, the Southern High Priest! S-So...!"
"Even he will have no choice but to accept it if we tell him we killed her because she's a demon! Sonia Yaivan! Are you saying you will defend a demon right now? Get out of the way immediately! If you step aside now, we will take your slip of the tongue from a moment ago into extenuating consideration!"
"N-No...! I mean...! Just... J-Just please wait a little bit...!"
Soya shielded Sieri even while her legs were trembling. Her face was on the verge of tears, and the hand gripping her staff had turned deathly pale. However, she stood in front of Sieri and tried to protect her no matter what. Sieri was staring at Soya with a dazed expression. Soya's mind was currently a complete mess. Reason told her she had to kill Sieri, but her heart was telling her she had to save Sieri.
Whenever she thought about how she had to kill Sieri and tried to take a step back, Lucius's face kept popping up in her mind.
[Please take good care of Sieri. Soya.]
"I told you to get out of the way immediately! Sonia Yaivan! We showed you grace at the Magic Tower and spared your life! Yet you run wild without knowing your proper place!"
"Since when did anyone ever show me grace...! When you crippled my leg! Absolutely not! I promised the Lord! That I would protect Ms. Sieri!"
Soya slumped down and hugged Sieri tightly. She gritted her teeth, planted her staff into the floor, and began to chant a spell. A blue barrier enveloped Sieri and Soya at the same time. Sieri was looking at Soya with a bewildered face. Soya was startled when she saw her eyes, but she forced a grin and spoke.
"It is okay. Ms. Sieri."
"W-Why are you doing... this. I am, I am... a demon. I have to die."
Sieri tried to escape outside the magic circle. But Soya held on tightly and refused to let go. She whispered in a small voice.
"Why are you trying to die? When there is someone who wishes for you to live. The Lord will be sad."
"He will be sad even if he sees that I am a demon, so it is better to just die."
As Sieri spread her wings and tried to step forward, the mages flinched, pulled their bodies back, and began to chant spells. Soya shouted.
"Please! I beg of you, please! At least until our Lord arrives! Please just wait until then! She is our High Priest's wife! I don't know about anyone else, but the High Priest has to at least say his farewells, doesn't he! Please, I am begging you! Please! Please...!"
Soya hugged Sieri tightly and shouted desperately. Fluttering her wings, Sieri looked at Soya with large eyes. She had vaguely thought that she had to die because she was a demon, but Soya was telling her that she had to live. The mages gripped their staffs tightly and looked at each other with troubled faces. A priest of the Archdeity Church shouted.
"We don't know what she will do! We must kill her immediately! She just threw me earlier too!"
"Uhm...!"
The mage standing in the vanguard was hesitating with a frown on his face. Sieri was the wife of the Southern High Priest, and the Southern High Priest had a cruel and lustful temper, making him a being one should never make into an enemy. The principle was to kill demons immediately, but wouldn't it be right to at least give her time to say her farewells?
"We must kill her! We must kill her immediately and eradicate demons from this world! Demons give birth to evil just by existing in this world...! Ahh! Let's kill that demon right now!"
Many people, including the believers of the Archdeity Church, were shouting to kill the demon. The mage kept his mouth tightly shut and stared at Soya.
"I beg you! Please! At least let her meet the High Priest!"
"Sonia Yaivan. Why do you defend a demon? It is unlike you, who achieved remarkable results in monster biological experiments and the like."
At those words, Soya's shoulders flinched, and she held Sieri's hand tightly. Sieri somehow felt that Soya's hand was warm. And she remembered that Lucius's hug was even warmer than this. Soya spoke like this.
"...She is a good person."
"But she is a demon."
"...But she was an exemplary human. I think... we should show her... the minimum amount of respect."
"Nevertheless, she is a demon."
At that moment, Sieri moved a little. She seemed as if she was going to slightly raise her body, but then she knelt down and spoke politely to the mages. Soya's eyes widened.
"...I beg of you. Please let me stay alive... just until I meet Lord Lucius."
Sieri looked at the mages as she teared up.
"...Even if it is just until then, ...please let me stay alive."
The mage looked at his surroundings before opening his mouth.
"...Restrain that demon. We will carry out the execution after she says her farewells to the Southern High Priest."
