Xiao Feng squinted his eyes, watching the convoy of motorcycles, arranged like a flock of geese, take up most of the lane in front of the bus. He was certain this was the work of a gang.

"Brother, what... what should we do now?" The driver looked at Xiao Feng, seeking help.

Having first reminded him to check the dashcam, and then to call the police, the driver had already subconsciously started to see Xiao Feng as his pillar of support.

"You continue the call to the police, I'll go take a look."

Leaving that command, Xiao Feng exited the bus.

There were a total of seven motorcycles, three on the left, three on the right, and a lone one prominently in the middle. Twelve people were on the six bikes.

At this moment, the person on the middle motorcycle took off his helmet, got off, and quickly ran up to the old shepherd, shouting, "Dad, how did our sheep die?"

"This bus hit it, yet they're stubbornly refusing to admit it!" The old shepherd pointed at the bus, his voice filled with grief, as if he had suffered an immense injustice.

Meanwhile, the twelve others also dismounted and gathered around to lend their support.

"Brother, we can't let our sheep die in vain!"

"Right! He must pay compensation!"

"A life for a life, and money for a sheep, that's the age-old rule. We can't just let him go that easily!"

The man waved his hand, silencing those around him, then stepped towards the bus door, gesturing at the driver, "You, get down!"

"Don't cause trouble. I have a dashcam in the bus, and I've already called the police. They'll be here soon!" The driver said, trying to muster courage.

As soon as the driver mentioned the police and the dashcam, Xiao Feng noticed a noticeable change in the old shepherd's expression.

Meanwhile, the man talking to the driver sneered dismissively, "Good, call the police. If you don't, I would have.

Don't worry, even though I brought many brothers, we're law-abiding and won't start a fight.

I, Xia Deyuan, always reason with people. You can ask around about me.

"I'll explain everything once the police arrive." The driver refused to get off the bus.

No sooner had he spoken than the old shepherd cried out suddenly, frantically patting himself down in panic: "My money! My money is gone!"

The man who called himself Xia Deyuan stepped away from the bus door, returned to the old shepherd, and asked, "Dad, you lost your money?"

"Gone." The old man nodded emphatically, then put on a mournful face, spinning in distress: "That money was for your mother's medicine! The sheep's dead, the money's gone, I might as well not live!"

With that, he made to slam his head against the bus.

A number of bystanders, moved by the old man's act, quickly stepped forward to stop him. After much persuasion, they finally managed to calm him down.

At this moment, Xia Deyuan gave a look to his subordinate with Explosive Hair.

With a slight nod, Explosive Hair squeezed through the crowd, ran up to the old man and asked, "Uncle, think carefully. When was the last time you saw your money?

Perhaps while herding, you accidentally dropped it somewhere.

Think carefully. With all of us here, we can definitely help you find it."

The old man scratched his head for a while, then slapped his thigh, "I remember! The money was still in my pocket when I got on the bus, but it was gone when I got off."

"So, in other words..." Explosive Hair deliberately paused, then guided, "The money was lost on the bus?"

"Definitely!" the old man affirmed resolutely.

At these words, the onlookers began to retreat.

They remembered clearly that after the old man boarded, he didn't have physical contact with anyone, and when he got off, nothing was seen on the ground.

Yet, the old man was adamantly saying he'd lost his money on the bus, which seemed a bit unreasonable.

"Come on, I'll go with you to look on the bus." Explosive Hair pulled the old man towards the bus, followed by the other eleven.

Xiao Feng glanced at Xia Deyuan, who stood still with a slight smile, feeling somewhat puzzled.

Wasn't he afraid the dashcam footage would be used as evidence of their gang's extortion scheme?

Soon, the answer revealed itself...

As soon as Explosive Hair led the old man onto the bus, he asked about the previous incidents.

The old man truthfully explained and mentioned his approximate range of activity.

When it came to the driver refusing to acknowledge hitting the sheep, Explosive Hair suddenly lashed out, grabbing the driver by the collar and dragging him from the driver's seat.

The eleven others swarmed, and the front half of the bus suddenly erupted into chaos.

"Are they trying to delete the dashcam footage in the commotion?" Xiao Feng realized.

"Hmm?" Xia Deyuan frowned deeply, sizing up Xiao Feng warily and asked, "Who exactly are you?"

"That's none of your business. Quickly finish whatever game plan you have in place and don't waste too much time," Xiao Feng said calmly.

Xia Deyuan's curiosity about Xiao Feng intensified, prompting him to ask, "Who on earth are you?"

Xiao Feng did not answer, choosing instead to watch the spectacle unfold.

Meanwhile, Explosive Hair shouted, "Everyone calm down!"

The bus fell silent at his shout.

Yet many couldn't help but feel exasperated, considering it was he who seemed the least calm.

With everyone quieted, Explosive Hair asked the old man, "Uncle, how much money did you lose?"

The old man stomped his feet, crying, "I didn't count. I wrapped it in tissue paper. There were some loose and some whole bills, probably around ten thousand."

Explosive Hair nodded and looked at the driver, "You hit the sheep and owe five thousand. That's not unreasonable, is it?

My uncle lost ten thousand on your bus. You can ask if anyone has found the money and have them return it."

The driver's face was contorted with misery as he turned to the passengers, "Did anyone find the money?"

The passengers all denied, although some questioned the authenticity of the old man's claim, they hesitated to speak against Explosive Hair and his gang, fearing for their own safety far from home.

"No one?" Explosive Hair stomped on a nearby seat, shouting, "It was clearly lost on the bus. If none of you found it, dare you let us search?"

"We didn't find it, so why search us?" asked a bespectacled young man defiantly, "You can search when the police get here."

Explosive Hair motioned for the young man to come closer.

The young man said, "Everyone, please film this with your phones, I refuse to believe he'll dare hit me."

After speaking, he walked confidently towards Explosive Hair.

Passengers began recording with their phones, but secretly worried for the young man.

"Now I'm here. What do you want?" The young man asked loudly.

Explosive Hair grinned, "Of course, I want to show you whether I dare hit you!"

Just as he finished speaking, Explosive Hair raised his fist and swung it at the young man's face.

"Ahhhhh!"

The young man screamed in agony, covering his nose and mouth as crimson blood trickled through his fingers.

The passengers filming were stunned, unable to believe that Explosive Hair dared to act so brazenly!

And then came the immediate concern of whether they would be the next target.
