The Madman's Guide to Miracles

I took someone else's lore wiki, stole its concepts, expanded them, and called it my own novel.

I was a plagiarist author. A shameless thief.

So why the hell did I wake up in the middle of it?

The floating screen in front of me was the first problem. I knew that UI. It wasn't from my novel—it was straight from the wiki pages on power system terminology I stole. A total nightmare where humans are just food

So where was I? Dropped into the setting I ripped off, or the novel I built out of it? If this was divine punishment for copyright infringement, it was pretty creative.

Either way, my plan was simple: blend into the dirt and stay as far from the plot as possible.

People who try to save rotting worlds end up tortured, betrayed, or eaten alive. I wanted no part of that. All I wanted was to keep my head down, act like a background extra, and survive.

I actually thought I could just play it safe.

I really was an idiot.

And I would eventually learn that dying once was only the beginning.
