The two of them randomly found someone to ask for directions, and quickly learned from that kind-hearted person that the most luxurious hotel in Thunder City was the grand establishment called the "Embrace of Dawn."

They spent money to hire a carriage straight to the hotel entrance, and soon were standing in the middle of the glittering, gold-and-jade hotel lobby.

Vivian nodded, more or less satisfied.

Not bad.

This hotel actually had some taste. If they'd just swap that marble out for obsidian or granite, it would have a bit of that Demon City vibe.

The lobby manager was a shrewd middle-aged man.

When he saw these two lavishly dressed yet still rather baby-faced teenagers, he assumed they were kids here looking for their parents.

But when he stepped forward to ask, he was stunned to find out they were actually here to check in.

"Two of your best suites, for a few days," Vivian lifted her chin, her composed posture making it look like this place was her personal domain.

The manager froze for a second, but quickly put on his professional smile and said in a gentle voice,

"Certainly, miss. However, we require payment in advance, and we only accept silver pounds. May I ask if you are currently able to…"

Vivian had no idea what "silver pounds" were and impatiently cut him off.

She casually pulled a small pouch from her dainty lace bag and slapped it onto the polished marble counter with a crisp "pa."

The mouth of the pouch loosened, and several Gold Coins rolled out, gleaming with a seductive luster—looking even newer than the latest coins minted by the Imperial Coinage Bureau.

There was no doubt—

They'd just been taken straight out of the bank's Vault!

"Silver pounds? You mean silver coins, right?" Vivian's lips curled in smug pride as she said, perfectly in character, "I don't use something that filthy. Just take these and see how much you need."

Vampires really don't like silverware.

That line nearly scared Nanfu to death; he was terrified the other side would see through their Blood Race identity.

The manager's smile did indeed freeze on his face, but not because he'd suddenly connected them to some far-fetched Blood Race. He was stunned by the kind of money this little girl was throwing around.

Whose kid is this?!

The Embrace of Dawn Hotel had originally been priced in Gold Coins, but after the launch of the silver pound and the gradual withdrawal of Gold Coins from circulation, people willing to pay in Gold Coins had become rare—unless they were clients who absolutely didn't care about price.

The manager immediately realized the identity of this young lady in front of him was likely far beyond anything he had imagined.

Cold sweat broke out on his forehead at once; his attitude became infinitely respectful, which in turn made the timid and cowardly Nanfu even more nervous…

The two of them were both lost in their own imaginations.

"Honored guests, I'll arrange everything for you at once…" The manager wiped his sweat while suppressing the tremor in his voice, doing his best to maintain an elegant facade. "May I ask how I should address you?"

"Vivian Colin!"

Nanfu was startled when he heard that and hurriedly started frantically signaling to Vivian with his eyes.

'Are you insane, sis? We're in the Human World right now, not in Hell…'

Vivian shot him an impatient glance.

'No kidding! You think I don't know where I am?'

Hell was a taboo subject in the Imperial; even the name of Demon God Bayele was something Humans were extremely reluctant to mention. How could some "rural backwater" of the Humans possibly know the name of a specific Demon?

Besides, they weren't exactly some famous Demons. Even their old man was one of those obscure nobodies. And if anyone did happen to know, they could just brush it off as someone with the same name.

Colin wasn't some surname that had popped out of a rock. Over a thousand years ago, their family had been a prestigious noble house on the Earth Surface, their bloodline roots even traceable in the current Imperial great houses. Digging up a few Barons named Colin was about as easy as it gets.

That said, Vivian's cleverness was beyond doubt—but she was still a bit inexperienced.

She had no idea that, thanks to Luo Yan, Roxey's name had already become famous across the Northeast Shore of Vortex Sea with his superb rate of fire.

And as for the name Prince Colin, within the Campbell Duchy it had already become a household word, and even in the Imperial Holy City it was thunderously renowned.

Because of this, the lobby manager's reaction completely exceeded the pair's expectations. His eyes went wide as he stared at the two children in disbelief, his voice turning stammering.

"Co-Colin? As in that Prince Colin? Wait, you—you're from the Colin family?! You're related to Prince Colin?"

Probably because she'd already heard this kind of thing so many times her ears had calluses, Vivian—who'd been lazily brushing off Nanfu's signals with her eyes—didn't think much of it and replied without thinking.

"Uh, who else would I be—"

At that moment, Nanfu erupted with the greatest courage of his entire life and clapped a hand over Vivian's mouth.

His clear eyes were full of pleading.

Do me this one favor—

Just stop talking!

Keep this up and the Judicial Court will be here any second!

Vivian was muffled into a string of garbled protests under Nanfu's hand, her eyes suddenly widening, scarlet pupils brimming with killing intent.

'Nanfu, you've got some nerve!'

She was indeed a bit curious how a Human could possibly know Prince Colin, but Nanfu's disrespect obviously ticked her off more.

So what if the Judicial Court shows up?

She was now a venerable Platinum Level powerhouse; worst case, she'd just carve a bloody path out!

Ever since her promotion to Platinum Level, Vivian's ego had inflated like crazy. While other Demons were still drinking milk, she was already daring to rampage around the Human World.

After all, reaching Platinum at her age was an achievement unmatched across the entire Demon City—a peerless genius. Even Councilor Luo Yan wasn't this badass.
