The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!

Chapter 1724 - 484: The Power Structure of the Andes Family (Part 2)

Luo Yan remembered showing such excitement the last time he saw the diamonds in his hand and realized he still had many.

Obviously, Mr. Andes is someone who appreciates value.

Luo Yan was generous in teaching, eloquently sharing the second half of the secret with him.

"Once we have a regulatory department, we can integrate resources between banks. As long as we break the barriers between banks, we can allow our customers to conduct 'card' transactions while recording the trades."

This part is not entirely the experience copied from Earth, but something that originally exists in the Demon City in Hell.

However, the Demon City is different; its banks are assets of the Temple, so issues of anti-counterfeiting and regulation do not exist.

Hell has its own issues.

"Once you've accumulated enough experience, you can use your bank to bring this system to the various city-states on the Northeast Shore of the Vortex Sea. If your Grand Duke is ambitious enough to seize the Twilight Province from the Ryan Kingdom, extending it to the Kingdom on the land is also possible."

"Of course, this is just my personal opinion. I hope my rough ideas can inspire you to solve the problems."

Luo Yan suddenly realized he had said a bit too much.

He remembered the character of Mr. Colin should be a benevolent and generous Prince of the Empire, slightly love-struck.

In this way, whenever undecided, he could stand behind Erin—"If not for this woman, I wouldn't care about you."

However, Mr. Andes, in his excitement at the moment, did not think of this, or perhaps he never considered himself so "simple."

He stood up excitedly, almost wanting to grasp Prince Colin's hand, but refrained due to his status, instead offering a deep bow.

"Your Highness, you are simply a genius! For the Campbell Duchy to have a friend like you, it's indeed an honor for each one of us!"

Luo Yan lightly coughed and altered the phrase once given to Ilana, then presented it to Mr. Andes.

"I am merely standing on… the shoulders of a Giant Dragon."

...

Almost at the same time as the meeting with Prince Colin ended, Andes took the plan learned from "overseas" to Edward.

The Grand Duke, diligent in his affairs, researched the "paper money" scheme provided by Andes overnight, almost instantly realizing the "essence" Andes had missed.

Addressing the liquidity crisis was merely incidental!

It was silently reclaiming "monetary sovereignty" within the Empire's strict currency system!

This idea was simply brilliant!

Though he couldn't academically explain its mysteries, just as he saw in the "New Testament," he instantly saw it was precisely what he needed!

The Campbell Duchy would establish its currency system!

Economically it would be the first to gain independence, with Campbell people deciding the value of what they produce!

"Go ahead, Andes!"

With dark circles from a sleepless night, Edward summoned Andes, granting him execution authority in a serious tone.

"The Campbell Royal Family will provide you with all the support you need."

Aside from personally undertaking this task.

After all, he couldn't openly oppose the Empire's currency dominance, which could attract enemies scarier than the Judicial Court.

Yet if it all amounted to commercial actions, they had room to maneuver!

Andes, now authorized, didn't rest for a moment.

By noon, under Andes' mobilization, the most influential bankers and gold traders on Queen Street in Thunder City all gathered in the meeting room of the Embrace of Dawn Hotel.

The fireplace in the meeting room burned hotly, yet the atmosphere was oppressively cold.

These tycoons controlling Thunder City's economic lifeline whispered, guessing why the Grand Duke's "purse" suddenly summoned them.

Was it to issue bonds again?

Surely not…

Even as a formality, they'd discuss such matters in Parliament, not like this setting up a makeshift operation in the hotel.

If it truly were, it would be tantamount to robbery, wouldn't it?

Most held good feelings for Edward, yet now found themselves uncertain.

Standing at the long table's end, Andes looked around at their expressions, capturing all their suspicions and doubts.

He knew well what they were thinking, and it was understandable.

Not everyone was willing to be the first to take a risk.

Even though in the not-too-distant future, everyone here would benefit greatly from the Grand Duke's wisdom.

"Gentlemen, thank you for coming amidst your busy schedules."

Andes cleared his throat and went straight to the point.

"You must have all noticed recently that although our bank vaults are piled with gold coins, the gold coins circulating in the market aren't sufficient, causing the exchange rate between gold coins and silver coins to increase… Of course, I know this is a good thing for those of us holding a large amount of gold, but after all, our Duchy wasn't bought with gold coins, and gold cannot buy titles."

This remark stopped all discussions, drawing the attendees' attention to Andes, with some showing intrigued expressions.

Though the Grand Duke called them together for money, it seems it's not to take money from them but to have them do "something."
