"Need to prepare the council documents for you?"

Xino shook his head.

"No need, I'm not heading to a meeting. Just help me apply for a teleportation array there."

The stone golem steward lifted his head, a hint of surprise flashing in his gray eyes.

"Teleportation array? Master, where are you headed to?"

"Demon King Territory of Thunder County!"

Xino grabbed the cloak from the hanger and strode to the door, leaving only a resolute back and a single sentence.

"I'm going to find Luo Yan!"

To avoid any possible misunderstandings.

He's going to report to Luo Yan personally!

...

The transmission room in the Great Graveyard, its eerie atmosphere as always.

At this moment, the Netherworld Magic Array suddenly flared intensely, accompanied by a flash of eerie green light, then abruptly contracted.

A figure stumbled out from the light, propping one hand on the cold floor, and retched violently.

"Oogh—"

The acolytes casting magic around were surprised to see him, evidently did not expect a Horror Demon to arrive via the teleportation array. Several acolytes exchanged glances, and one left to report to the Demon King.

Xino gasped for a while before standing up, his rugged bovine face pale as paper, cold sweat soaking through his handcrafted luxurious suit.

He felt his soul was shoved into a jar filled with broken glass and then shaken harshly by a giant for a minute.

"This damned subspace..." Xino muttered through gritted teeth, internally grumbling why everyone was unwilling to use this thing.

This feeling was indeed unpleasant, especially this feeble feeling left him insecure.

Since he broke through the Silver Level bottleneck and advanced to Gold Level, the side effects of the teleportation array had significantly increased.

However, now wasn't the time to daze.

Forcing through the dizzying sensation, he stood up against the wall and tidied his messy collar, then strode towards the Audience Hall.

Just a minor discomfort, it wasn't enough to delay Luo Yan's urgent affair!

...

In the Audience Hall of the Demon King Palace, Luo Yan was reclining on the granite throne, leisurely perusing a magic book transcribed from the Academic State.

When Xino's somewhat hurried footsteps were heard, he slowly lifted his head and spoke in a voice like a spring breeze.

"Xino? My old friend, what brings you here?"

Xino quickly walked to the foot of the steps, bowed respectfully, and spoke in a deep, resonant voice.

"Sir Councilor, the situation is urgent and too bizarre, I must report to you personally! To prevent any misunderstandings!"

"Oh?"

Luo Yan closed the book, sitting up with interest.

"Go ahead, I'm listening."

Xino rapidly organized his words in his mind and recounted how Earl Derek Granston summoned him, mistakenly thinking he was Thunder County's new Demon King, and finally requested him to attack Thunder City with an absurd plan, in full detail.

After finishing everything, the bumbling Horror Demon stopped, resting quietly for the Demon King's decision.

To his surprise, Luo Yan's reaction after hearing his statement was calm; he merely chuckled lightly.

"Interesting."

He wasn't surprised that the nobles of Campbell Duchy were itching to fire the first shot while Edward's wings were not yet fully spread.

But he didn't expect that the gun he personally let go of now circled back into his hand, because both sides were his people.

Seeing Luo Yan seemingly not angry about being involved in Thunder County's affairs, instead appearing intrigued, Xino's anxious heart finally settled down.

As long as the Demon King doesn't misunderstand that it's the Dragon family's antics behind the scenes!

Xino's face broke into a naive smile, immediately leaning forward, lowering his voice, and offering advice earnestly.

"Sir Councilor, this Derek openly summoned demons; by human standards, that's outright sacrilege! I have a plan; we can 'unintentionally' leak this news to Saint Sis's dogs... the Church Court!"

His gaze grew increasingly sinister, continuing fiercely.

"Let the Judicial Court people search Granston's castle; they're bound to find something! Oh, I have a clue: that altar with no windows should be underground!"

XiNo was utterly unrestrained, revealing to the real Demon King the secret Earl Derek shared wholeheartedly with him.

Luo Yan listened with keen interest, his gaze at Xino mixed with appreciation and a touch of sentiment.

The Campbell nobles conniving to use Hell's forces to eliminate political rivals.

While Hell's demon proposed using the Judicial Court to handle the human underling causing trouble.

This world was indeed becoming more topsy-turvy.

But perhaps this was the true world.

After patiently listening to the entire plan, Luo Yan shook his head and gave a candid critique, "Your plan, frankly not very clever."

Xino's smile froze on his face, dumbfoundedly speaking.

"Ah?"

"The Judicial Court is a double-edged sword," Luo Yan said indifferently, "they're now troubled for finding excuses to widen their purge. Leading them to North Stream Valley will only fan the flames, engulfing the entire Campbell Duchy... This doesn't align with my interests."

Moreover, Erin had barely gained the upper hand in the clash with the Judicial Court, leaving the latter quite humiliated.
