Vlad had barely risen from his seat when Seraphina asked, "Where are you going?"

"To the cafeteria, of course," Vlad answered, stretching his arms. "And aren’t you coming with me?"

Seraphina raised her arm towards him, her head still resting forward on the table. She shook her index finger, making Vlad raise an eyebrow.

"If we leave the Study Room, we have to check out," Seraphina explained. "Since it’s exam season, there’s a high chance we won’t get another room."

Vlad was about to offer to bring food for all three of them when Chloe spoke, her eyes fixed on her phone, where she was tapping the screen.

"I’ve ordered food delivery. It will arrive in ten minutes."

"Rookie move," Seraphina scoffed, smugly swaying her hair. She took out several cans of food from her storage ring. "Ten minutes is too much time to waste when there is still so much left to study."

She pushed the notebooks and papers spread across the table under it as she set the cans across the surface.

"Come, Vlad," she called, grabbing his wrist. "Eat quickly so that we can start the next unit."

Vlad had barely sat down when Chloe picked up a can and read its contents. "Fatty fish."

Her eyes moved to a few more cans as she read their labels. "Spinach, broccoli..."

She simply shook her head with a plain face, as if greatly disappointed. "Vlad hates seafood. He rarely eats spinach...and no one likes broccoli."

She placed the can back on the table, her lavender eyes shifting to Seraphina on the other side of Vlad. "A girlfriend who knows nothing about her boyfriend."

The taunt struck exactly where it was meant to, causing a deep frown to form on Seraphina’s face. Her pink eyes turned to Vlad, who sat between them, as she asked with puppy eyes, "Is she telling the truth?"

"Yeah," Vlad answered with a sigh. He didn’t want to dismiss her efforts, but neither did he want to lie to her. If he wasn’t honest about his likes and dislikes, she would never truly know what he preferred.

"Thank you for being honest," Seraphina murmured, her face falling. She had only just started gathering the cans from the table to put them back in her storage ring when Vlad stopped one of her hands and Chloe stopped the other, placing their hands over hers.

"I don’t like seafood," Vlad said with a gentle smile. "The rest is fine."

"I like fish," Chloe added, her eyes never leaving the can. She had never eaten canned food before, and there was no way she was going to miss this opportunity. "I will eat it in Vlad’s place."

Seraphina’s eyes rose again, a smile forming on her serene face. "Okay," she nodded, withdrawing her hand.

They waited until the delivery man arrived with the food Chloe had ordered. It was all of Vlad’s favourites. Seraphina observed everything carefully, memorising every dish so as not to let Chloe get the upper hand again.

Soon, the small room was filled with the aroma of warm food. While Chloe was barely keeping her drool in check and Seraphina was tying her hair into a bun, Vlad oddly grabbed two spoons instead of one, filling them with two different dishes.

"Thanks, both of you," Vlad’s warm voice drew the girls’ attention as he moved one spoon to each of their lips. "I’m blessed to have such caring girlfriends."

Chloe put the spoon in her mouth without hesitation. She had been fed by him thousands of times, so it was completely natural for her.

Seraphina hesitated for a moment out of shyness, tucking the strands of her crimson hair behind her ear before parting her lips and letting the spoon enter.

Once she swallowed, she murmured, "Don’t think this is enough to make me happy. I want to be treated properly once the exams end."

"Sure," Vlad nodded, withdrawing his hand.

Chloe tugged at his shirt from the other side. Once she had his attention, she stated, "I need you to come with me after the midterms."

Vlad wanted to ask the reason for the sudden mystery, but he soon understood where she wanted to take him.

Chloe’s gaze shifted to Seraphina. There was a hint of annoyance in it that only Vlad could see. "You come too."

Seraphina’s brows rose in mild surprise. Chloe was actually inviting her somewhere along with Vlad.

Seraphina immediately agreed, clearly curious.

The girls grabbed the spoons from Vlad’s hand, filled them with dishes, and moved them to his mouth simultaneously.

Vlad understood exactly what they intended by this, knowing the faint smile on Chloe’s face and the playful one on Seraphina’s all too well.

Although they had called a truce for the main battle, they were still fighting indirectly, each trying to show the other whom Vlad cared about more.

But Vlad had already prepared for such scenarios when he asked both of them to become his girlfriends. He grabbed their hands and opened his mouth a little extra wide, taking both spoons in at once.

"Mmm, it’s good," he said, giving a thumbs up with puffed cheeks.

Both Chloe and Seraphina gave him a silent stare, as if annoyed by his cunning.

They decided to focus on the food first, letting him off the hook for now.

As soon as they finished dinner, Chloe began teaching the next unit to Vlad. It also helped her make her concepts even clearer.

Meanwhile, Seraphina took out her own books, deciding to revise since it had been nearly a month since she last studied.

Her role would come when it was time for solving problems.

Whenever Chloe hit a topic she had doubts about, she would ask Seraphina to explain it to both of them.

So immersed were they in their books that the trio didn’t even realise the night had turned into the early morning of the next day.

Chloe had fallen asleep on Vlad’s lap, hugging his hand just below her chin. Seraphina’s head rested on his shoulder from the other side. She was still awake, her half-open eyes watching Vlad’s hand as it solved the last question.

"My boyfriend not only has a killer body and a handsome face but also a genius mind," she murmured in a low, sleepy voice. "It only took you twelve hours to complete the syllabus of three subjects."

Vlad’s lips curved into a blushing smile at her compliment, his hand pausing for a moment on the notebook before continuing.

Seraphina picked up his phone from the table and checked his exam datesheet.

As she scrolled through the list, her eyes slowly widened, the sleep vanishing from them.

"V-Vlad," she called in a concerned tone, lifting her head from his shoulder. "Why are you enrolled in this subject?"
