Chapter 1501: Leaving The Jade Nest
Chapter 1501: Leaving The Jade Nest
In the human universe, aside from the Human Emperor who rules over all 64 galaxies, there are other kings and queens who rule over the galaxies.
One of them is the Jade Queen, who rules over the Milky Way Galaxy. In the past, many wondered if she was a twin of the Jade Ant Queen, considering they both shared a similar title.
Unfortunately, she is a human, and so those speculations were baseless.
In the universe, she ranks in the top ten of mages who have managed to comprehend the Ice Law and unlock the sought-after path called the Jade Ice Path.
Her combat power is monstrous, and so are the Celestials, who even act as her guards. In all, there are 128 star systems in the Milky Way Galaxy, and each is protected by a Celestial known as an Elder Celestial.
One of them is the Green Emerald Elder who protects the Black Mint Star System. As it happens, the gateway to the Jade Nest was located in that star system, so when he received word to come and ensure the safety of the 7th Jade Princess, who happened to be the daughter of the Jade Queen, he didn’t hesitate.
In truth, the Jade Queen gave the order because of the Burning Angel. After Lord Victor contacted him, he reached out directly to the Jade Queen and informed her of the danger reported to him.
Learning her daughter had also ventured there, she knew she would be in danger, so she commanded the Green Emerald Elder to come.
So his presence wasn’t too shocking if one knew the identity of the beautiful princess who entered the Jade Nest three months ago.
Just when he appeared, several gods bowed and greeted him.
"Welcome, Lord Emerald."
He ignored them all and turned toward Lord Victor. "Your name is Victor, right?"
Lord Victor nodded, his expression calm. As a disciple of the Burning Angel, he had felt an even more terrifying presence than this Celestial.
In his sight, this man might as well be considered a demigod. The Burning Angel would crush him with his pinky without him knowing how it happened.
"I was commanded to bring you and your people to the Jade Palace, so when the children return from the nest, you leave with me."
Lord Victor nodded again.
The other gods and demigods were left stunned, some wondering why someone as weak as Lord Victor was addressed by a Celestial when they were ignored.
Of course, some of the demigods made sure their complaints didn’t reach Lord Victor. Most of them witnessed him fight in the past, and so they could tell that, even as demigods, they were not his opponent.
He could easily kill them despite being a realm lower than them. Such is the strength of the ruler of an entire star system.
In the Milky Way Galaxy, he was the weakest Star-Lord, yet nobody dared mess with him. His reputation preceded him.
Just as murmuring had begun to grow intense, the first person emerged from the jade gateway, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
Soon, more and more people started to appear.
The people hired to ensure no one survived were left debating whether to risk it all and kill them, even though there was a Celestial around.
In the end, they decided against it. It was just too risky and also exposing. So they would let the Heavens Court handle their own affairs. They did what they could, but in the end, they failed.
Meanwhile, on the inside, Klaus and his team, along with Princess Evren and her team, stood before a portal, their backs turned to it.
In the distance, a large portal had opened, and every beast inside the Jade Nest was being led inside by the four beast gods.
Up in the sky, cracks started to appear. Soon, the entire nest would come undone, and every beast left inside would become prey to those who would venture in.
The item Klaus gave them had formed the portal, leading them all to the home he had promised. Naturally, it was all a front to hide his intention from the princess.
He didn’t trust her enough to reveal such a trump card.
In truth, the item merely opened a portal that led to his [Multi-Dimensional Cube]. This item had helped him cultivate his Beast Legion back on Earth. Now, it had become so advanced that he couldn’t help but decide to establish a world of beasts in there.
They would be safe and, most importantly, have more than enough resources to train and evolve, becoming better versions of themselves.
Icon had informed him that the second-tier seal on the Multi-Dimensional Disc had unlocked, awakening all kinds of stuff. He would explore it later.
For now, he just stood there, and after 80% of the calamity beasts entered the portal, he nodded at Lady Beyhos, whom he had made the temporary ruler of all the calamity beasts. He would talk to them later and also make further arrangements.
"Let’s go," Klaus said, and his people nodded.
After one last glance at the calamity beasts, they entered the portal and, a few seconds later, emerged on the other side.
Just when they appeared, several eyes focused on them, some friendly, others filled with killing intent. However, despite all the auras locked on him, one stood out.
Lifting his head, Klaus’s gaze met that of a green-haired man clad in futuristic black and green armor. On his back hovered a sword, and around it was a halo-like diagram with seven nodes of circular rings, each with a different design and color.
For a moment, Klaus felt his back break into a cold sweat. However, the man nodded at him, putting his mind at ease.
Just before Klaus could fly toward Lord Victor, several human warriors who were in the nest with him moved toward him, and, under everyone’s stunned expressions, they all bowed.
"Thank you for saving us, Renegade Hunter."
"In the future, if you need any help, feel free to ask."
Klaus paused and scanned their faces before nodding. "No need to thank me. I merely wanted to get my hands on the Jade Ant Queen, and so I fought for her. Unfortunately, I lost."
Some of them sighed, while others grew curious.
"Renegade Hunter, was that person truly the Paragon?"
Before Klaus could answer, a deep voice came from the back. "What did you just say?" a Universal God asked, his expression turning red. Maybe he was pissed, or maybe he felt like something bad was about to happen.
As someone sent to ensure Klaus and the others died, hearing the paragon come and go made him tense up.
One of the immortals who recorded the moment the Paragon revealed his identity replied.
"The Paragon appeared in the nest and took away the reincarnated version of the Jade Ant Queen."
Everybody gathered there sucked in a deep breath, others taking out communication devices. Those who were sent to ensure no one returned alive were the first to call their employers.
Unfortunately for them, many people started uploading videos of the events that happened inside the Jade Nest.
Klaus smiled inwardly, his expression calm as he looked around him.
What the Heavens Court feared had come to pass, and soon the universe would be made aware of their crimes.
Looking at some panicking and others digesting what had just been revealed, he knew his plan from the start may have perhaps worked out better than he had anticipated.
’I like it when plans come together in the end,’
They soon flew toward Lord Victor, who was already scrolling through some content people had uploaded to the Uniweb.
"Welcome back, everyone," he said when Klaus and his team approached him.
"Lord Victor, it would be best if we leave here as soon as possible. I have reason to believe things will become chaotic soon, and I am not in the shape for another battle,"
Hearing Klaus’s words, Lord Victor’s expression grew serious. He turned and looked at the Celestial in the air. After a quick glance, he turned back to Klaus. "We have been summoned to the Jade Palace, so we will be leaving with this senior,"
Klaus furrowed his brow; however, Lord Victor’s next words calmed him.
"I have contacted my Master, and he arranged for us to come here. That place is also closer to the academy, so you can easily go there when you recover."
Klaus nodded and soon flew toward the Celestial. A few seconds after they took off, Princess Evren and her people arrived as well. Following them was a goddess whose face was concealed behind a veil.
Klaus immediately sensed her scrutinizing gaze, so he told Icon to remain in combat mode. Shattering his Immortal Rings and burning his bloodline had taken a toll on him, so he wasn’t confident he alone could prevent her from looking into his secrets.
"Renegade Hunter, looks like we will be traveling together," Princess Evren said just when they arrived before the Celestial.
"Looks like it," Klaus smiled, unlike Princess Evren, who held a calm expression. Perhaps to lighten the mood, he added in a casual tone, "This might even allow you to pay me back for saving your life, perhaps cooking a bowl of pasta would do."
The green-haired Celestial narrowed his eyes, but sensing Princess Evren’s gaze, he said nothing.
He waved his hand, and a green-colored SSS-Class ship appeared. Soon, everyone was boarded, and they left for the Jade Palace. It would take them five hours to get there.
