The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1453 1453: Immortal King

Chapter 1453 1453: Immortal King

Klaus had no idea he was again trending all over the universe. Even if he did, there was just no way he would have minded, considering his cultivation bases were still climbing even after his main body had become a True Immortal.

Right now, he had reached the Medium-Level True Immortal stage, making that body the weakest in terms of level among the five bodies.

Rhazor, who would be playing the role of the criminal, had already reached the Peak True Immortal stage and was slowly bridging the gap between that realm and the Immortal King.

ImmortalKlaus didn't know how much of the essence it would take to enter the Immortal King stage with Rhazor. So instead, he halted his cultivation at the peak and began aiding Orion, Kaden, and Efad in reaching it as well.

The same can be said for his main body.

Since both the missions given to him by both Lord Victor and the Mission Hall require him to be below the Immortal King stage, his main body will never ascend past the True Immortal stage.

The realm of the Jade Ant Queen requires one to be at the True Immortal stage and below. If they are above that stage, the laws of that space will limit them to the True Immortal stage.

Naturally, that would also limit the amount of energy they can channel, since the laws there will limit them to the stage it wants and considers perfect for a True Immortal.

If that were to happen, there is a chance that more of his unfathomable, vast sea of energy will be suppressed too much. So he will keep his cultivation at the True Immortal stage.

As for the other four, he doesn't really care. Already, the Renegade Hunter had come under the radar again. This time, however, Klaus planned to use his fame to his own good.

Since Rhazor, the criminal, had already declared he would kill the Renegade Hunter, the challenge would soon be issued, and Klaus would have to respond.

Of course, he wouldn't make it look obvious.

The reason why he and Blue (the Supreme he used to con people with back in the day) left for the remote planet was to meet some of the people from his past life when he was the Paragon of Shadows.

Klaus didn't know how long had passed, but he knew he needed a backer, and one of those people would do. With a celestial backing him, he would rise to the same status as the renegade hunter.

Once that happens, he would be able to roam the universe without Gods, Supremes, and Celestials personally coming after him.

If that were to happen, he would be able to challenge the Renegade Hunter and show the entire universe what he is capable of.

He wants to make it so that one day, the Renegade Hunter and Rhazor will have a rivalry between them. Then, once the Paragon arrives, they would have no choice but to turn on him.

Klaus wants to create a dynamic among the Paragon, the Renegade Hunter, and Rhazor, where the three become inseparable and entangled to the point that many would wonder who among them is the best.

The Paragon would have his moments, but to what end? How vast would the gap be between them?

There is just no way the Heavens would see all this coming. They would focus so much on these three that they would fail to notice the others that he planned to use as the underdogs.

This was all his plan for the future. One day, the entire universe will learn of his identity, but unlike before, this time, he will be able to control the narrative.

The Renegade Hunter will have fame, and so would the criminal (Rhazor). With them being the main faces of his final incarnation, when the Paragon becomes a god, the universe will finally see what he has been trying to show them.

But for that to happen, he needed to make Rhazor strong enough for the Underworld Slaughter Tournament.

Millions would be sent out into a vast battlefield, and at the end of the tournament, only seven were expected to remain, each standing at the socket of the large underworld skull.

Klaus is powerful, but the same cannot be said when he goes against Immortal Lords who have been killing for their entire lives.

Honestly, Klaus didn't feel confident in himself to win that tournament.

Deep down, he knew the people coming for the tournament weren't the same kind of weaklings he had fought in the past. He knew they would be monsters just like him, so he was preparing to face them with all he had.

So, long story short, he wanted Rhazor to become an Immortal King. This way, even when inside the tournament, while he might not be able to reach the Immortal Lord stage, he would be able to hold his own against even Immortal Lords.

He learned that the tournament only accepts immortals.

Reaching the peak of the Immortal King stage, Klaus pushed his other three bodies to that peak as well. Then, before long, he decided to push Rhazor through to the Immortal King stage.

Standing 200 meters away, his wives, King Alric, Lista, and Queen Leah, were all left stunned by how fast Klaus's cultivation was rising.

In their eyes, it had only been a few hours, but he went from Early Immortal to True Immortal. While that was shocking enough, the real kicker came when they considered his four bodies.

There was just no way one person could have five different cultivation bases.

They wondered what would happen if he were to augment his main body with all four other bodies. For a moment, they all froze when they realized they may have initially underestimated the power of his other bodies.

Looking at the five Klauses, they could tell they each had a different aura. This meant they had each awakened or formed different immortal ring compositions.

Knowing all this, they also knew that all five bodies were Klaus's, so naturally, he could merge with them. It was possible, and Klaus had already cleared that a few days ago.

But if that was the case, then what would become of him when he did that? Already, Rhazor had six immortal rings while only at the Peak True Immortal stage.

If his six were to merge with the five each from Orion, Kaden, Efad, and Klaus, what then would become of the Paragon of the Nine Stars?

"Suddenly, I feel threatened by the power of the Paragon," Lista muttered, a bit stunned when she considered the prospect of what all this meant in the grand scheme of all things.

Klaus's wives laughed, and Anna responded:

"There is a reason why he is called the Paragon. The rules we played with had no hold on him. What the Heavens would never allow to happen had already been achieved by Klaus, and there is nothing they can do about it.

So when you look at the Paragon, regardless of how insignificant he may look before your eyes, know that at the end of the day, he is not the same as us. His power is immeasurable, unfathomable, and all-encompassing."

Somewhere along the way, Rhazor let a grin form at the corner of his lips. Right on cue, his aura shifted, and a terrible wave of aura erupted from his body.

<Your body, called Rhazor, has become an Immortal King>
