Ruan Jiaojiao didn’t suspect anything, she went over to Xia Qia who was still doing her hair, said a word to her, and then turned around and left the room to find Yang Xiaona in the lobby.

When she found Yang Xiaona, Yang Xiaona was leaning her forehead against the sofa arm with one hand, her eyes closed, looking very tired. When she heard footsteps, she raised her head to look over, smiled at Ruan Jiaojiao: "So early, I thought you hadn’t gotten up yet."

"Xiaona, I’m not reassured by this, we should go to the hospital and have a look, okay?" Ruan Jiaojiao said anxiously.

"I’m really fine, I know my own body. There’s chocolate in my bag, grab a piece for me, once I eat it I’ll be okay. I’m just too exhausted, the low blood sugar caused this."

Seeing her resolute attitude, Ruan Jiaojiao could only bend over and rummage through her bag. After finding the chocolate, she unwrapped it and brought it to Yang Xiaona’s mouth.

After eating the chocolate, Yang Xiaona thanked the two waiters and let them go. Seeing Ruan Jiaojiao still looking at her with furrowed brows, she gently said: "I’m really okay, look at your expression, someone might think I’ve been bullying you."

"Xiaona!" Ruan Jiaojiao disagreed while looking at her, then sat beside her, gazing at her unusually pale face, still feeling uneasy: "Xiaona, are you really? You’re not hiding anything from me, are you? If you’re keeping something from me and won’t tell me, I’d be truly upset."

Having been a model over the years, Yang Xiaona was good at managing her expression, except when it came to Ruan Jiaojiao, she couldn’t lie to her. So when she heard Ruan Jiaojiao say this, her face froze.

After about a few seconds, she finally told the truth: "I’m pregnant."

"Doesn’t brother Chi know?" Ruan Jiaojiao felt that with Ruan Chi’s sense of responsibility, it would be impossible for him not to mention marriage knowing Yang Xiaona was pregnant.
