Chapter 2427

Chapter 2427: Chapter 2427

Seeing Luo Ying so confident, Sister Wu felt a bit worried and frowned. She said to her, "Luo Ying, don’t mess around. I’ve checked; Tianyi has a registered capital of one million. For someone so young to have that kind of money, he’s definitely not simple. Don’t offend him."

Luo Ying waved her hand dismissively, still closing her eyes as if she had victory in hand.

Sister Wu didn’t say anything more to her on the surface, but she was still quite worried inside. She thought she must watch over her closely these days to make sure she doesn’t get into trouble.

Although it was quite a pity that this contract fell through, they could still strive for other opportunities. But that Mr. Duan clearly wasn’t going to be easy to deal with. If they indeed offended him badly and he had some tricks up his sleeve, being blacklisted would be their only option, and that would truly be a losing proposition.

However, Luo Ying didn’t think so. She was convinced that there was a gap between Ruan Jiaojiao and Duan Xi in terms of status. Plus, men are all greedy; even if they have flowers at home, you can’t ensure the allure of wildflowers outside, so she didn’t really plan to let go.

That night, when she went home, she began plotting about this because she knew the game was about to enter beta testing. If she didn’t hurry up, other celebrities might steal this plan.

Ruan Lei came to Tianyi to sign the contract on the 22nd, right before Ruan Jie and Xia Qia’s wedding on the 23rd. He took a day’s leave from the crew and came to Tianyi to sign the contract a bit early in the afternoon of the 22nd.

Previously, Duan Xi had mentioned deducting the endorsement fee to Ruan Jiaojiao, but actually, the fee given to Ruan Lei was higher than that for the female celebrities.

When signing the contract, Ruan Jiaojiao didn’t come. It was Ruan Lei’s first time coming to Tianyi, and he took a good look around before sitting in the meeting room with Yang Chen and remarked, "Comparing people really angers me. You see, I grew up with your boss, but now he’s the big boss, and I have to work for him."

Yang Chen, knowing the relationship between Ruan Lei and their boss and the boss’s wife, smiled and replied, "But Mr. Ruan, your current status is something we can only dream of." ℴ

Tianyi offered female celebrities a price of 120,000 a year, while Ruan Lei received 150,000.

The people in the finance department had even asked why, and their boss said something back then. Oh, their boss just glanced up and said to the finance department people, "No matter how much money it is, it will come back eventually. There’s no need to worry."

The finance department didn’t understand what that meant. Now, looking at Ruan Lei, Yang Chen wanted to ask, but felt it might be inappropriate, so he couldn’t help it.

Instead, before signing, Ruan Lei asked Yang Chen, "When will the first year’s endorsement fee be paid?"

Ruan Lei didn’t have a signed agency and no manager, always running around film sets by himself, so there was no one else to take a cut of the endorsement fee.

"The contract becomes effective within seven working days after signing," Yang Chen replied, handing him the contract Duan Xi had already signed. 𝙛𝓇ⅇ

Ruan Lei nodded as he picked up the pen, "Alright then, don’t forget to be on time."

He had recently set his eyes on something nice he wanted to buy for both Yang Tao and Ruan Jiaojiao, but unfortunately, his funds were tight.

Yang Chen nodded with a smile, and Ruan Lei, without further ado, signed his name briskly without even glancing at the contract, fully demonstrating his trust in Tianyi.
