After confirming their relationship, Ruan Jiaojiao felt awkward due to past events and rarely interacted with Xia Qia. Now that Xia Qia proactively extended an olive branch, she naturally wouldn’t refuse and immediately emerged from her room to go downstairs with her.

"This is something I recently learned to make from a friend. She calls it a custard tart. They’re not yet sold in the market. I made some for you to try, see if you like them. If you do, I’ll make more for you next time." Reaching downstairs, Xia Qia opened a gift box, took out a still warm custard tart, and handed it to Ruan Jiaojiao.
