Chapter 2368: Chapter 2368

Moreover, once someone fell, they wouldn’t be able to get up again.

There was even one person who was badly injured, with a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth, possibly indicating some internal organ damage.

The brawl started quickly and ended even faster. The spectators felt they couldn’t even catch Duan Xi’s movements before the ground was covered with people.

Duan Xi walked up to the first pickpocket among them. The pickpocket, seeing how formidable Duan Xi was, turned pale with fear, clutching his stomach as he crawled up, desperately bowing his head: "Spare me, brave sir, spare me!"

"Pfft..." Ruan Jiaojiao couldn’t hold it in and burst out laughing.

Duan Xi looked coldly at the pickpocket kneeling before him: "Phone."

The pickpocket dared not argue anymore, took off his jacket, and emptied his pockets in one go.

Among the items were the phones of Ruan Jiaojiao and the others, several wallets, and some earrings and other gold accessories.

Duan Xi bent over, picked up Ruan Jiaojiao’s phone, wiped it carefully with his hand before placing it in his pocket, while Yu Rou and Yang Tao picked up their own phones.

In the crowd, those who discovered their belongings missing quickly reacted and rushed over to retrieve them.

"Brother Xi, should we report this?" Ruan Jiaojiao asked Duan Xi, looking at the pickpockets scattered across the ground.

Duan Xi wasn’t fond of trouble, but in this situation, it was indeed necessary to file a report. He nodded and used his phone to call the police.

Before the police arrived, under Duan Xi’s intimidating gaze, the other eight pickpockets also surrendered all their stolen goods, leaving quite a bit that wasn’t claimed by any victim.

There happened to be a police station nearby, and not long after the security guard arrived, two policemen came over.

Upon arrival, seeing all the pickpockets and stolen items scattered around, their expressions were extraordinarily complex and interesting. They quickly made another call, mobilizing every available officer from the station.

Ruan Jiaojiao and the others had no choice but to follow them to the police station.

At the police station, Ruan Jiaojiao and the others gave short statements, while the police started taking statements from the pickpockets.

Ruan Jiaojiao and the others stepped out first, and the police chief followed them out, gazing at Duan Xi with eyes full of admiration, as if he were looking at a treasure.

That look reminded Ruan Jiaojiao of when Duan Xi participated in a middle school sports meet and won first place; the PE teacher had the same kind of sparkling eyes!
