Chapter 2321: Chapter 2321

Three people returned from the zoo, and it was already past five in the morning. Jiaojiao got out of the car, yawning repeatedly, and climbed into bed to sleep.

The next morning, she didn’t get up for breakfast, and no one called her to wake up. Jiaojiao got up only after two in the afternoon, except for Ruan Jie and Duan Xi, who had already gone to the zoo; the others were at home.

Jiaojiao ate the dishes that the Ruanlin Family had heated in the pot while texting Yang Tao.

This year, Yang Tao didn’t return to Yuansu, as the Yang Family has shifted their business focus to Beidu over the past few years. This year, they’ve even bought a home in Beidu, not a villa, but a duplex in the city center.

They had already finished moving today, and Yang Tao asked her if she wanted to come over and play.

Jiaojiao replied with an "okay," finished eating, and then took a ride driven by Ruan Hao’s driver to Yang Tao’s new home.

The Yang Family has four members; she’s the eldest with a younger brother. She started school late, so she is one or two years older than Duan Xi and the others, and her brother is the same age as Ruan Lei, currently a sophomore.

Jiaojiao had seen her brother before, but that was back in high school. Since she was often with Duan Xi and the others, she always felt she was the same age as them. Naturally, she even saw the older Yang Hong as a younger brother.

But today, as soon as she got off the car, seeing the much taller, completely changed figure of Yang Hong following Yang Tao to greet her, she almost didn’t recognize him.

"Jiaojiao." Yang Tao saw Jiaojiao getting out of the car, immediately ran over, hugged her neck, and gave her a big kiss on the face: "I haven’t seen you for a while, you’re even prettier now."

Jiaojiao laughed, feigning disdain as she wiped her face, playfully glaring at her, then turned to bend down and greet the driver in the car: "Uncle Liu, I’ll call you when I’m ready to go back."

After the driver left, Yang Tao wrapped her arm around Jiaojiao’s neck, walking towards the compound, saying, "I thought you’d come with that clingy person from your family."

Jiaojiao knew whom she meant: "Brother Xi has something to do, plus, he’s not clingy."

"Alright, alright, not clingy. Let’s not talk about him. Let me take a look at you; why do you seem even thinner? Little Frog, if you lose a bit more weight, you’ll really become a skeleton." Yang Tao said, pinching her waist.

Jiaojiao, ticklish, dodged sideways and accidentally bumped into Yang Hong next to her. Yang Hong reached out to steady her and said, "Be careful."

Jiaojiao immediately thanked him, looked up at him, and asked, "Are you Xiaohong?"

Yang Hong nodded.

Jiaojiao couldn’t help but sigh, feeling an inexplicable sense of watching a younger brother grow up: "You’ve grown so big."

Yang Hong caught the meaning in her words, and his face stiffened.

Beside them, Yang Tao laughed heartily, pulling Jiaojiao into her arms, and said, "Jiaojiao, this kid is two years older than you. What’s up with that ’looking at your younger brother’ expression?"

Jiaojiao couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this: "He’s your brother, so he naturally is my brother too."

"Hahahaha, you’re really shameless, but you’re right. My brother is your brother! Hahahaha." Yang Tao laughed uncontrollably, her eyes glancing up, meeting Yang Hong’s somewhat aggrieved face, made her feel incredibly cheerful.

As a child, Yang Tao used to enjoy beating her brother for fun, but this kid sprang up suddenly during two years of high school, and now is much taller than her, making it impossible to enjoy those carefree days of beating up her brother as before, which she finds quite regrettable.
