Chapter 250 - Her Wrath!
"Although I wasn't expecting that Mr. Johnson would show up so easily already." Her speech contained a lot of sarcasm.
Hearing the same, Javier immediately turned around to see her face, covered with redness. No one can deny that she looked extra alluring yet what caught his attention were her expressions.
"Then what did you expect?" Javier asked with a little surprised reaction, "That you will probably spend some time with your bride." Her reply was straightforward as always.
Her eyes shined with the colder mist, making him gulp the saliva.
Walking closer to him, Jennifer stood near his body under the moonlight falling on both do their faces.
Despite her sarcasm and hatred, no one can actually say that it affected him deeply, "I have a wife to see, and take care of..."
The words brought a scoff on her lips, "The same wife whom you left behind today and got engaged to someone else? Say if I'm wrong?"
With respect to this, his lips were sealed which wasn't shocking either as she knew that he had his own reasons.
Her eyes turned slightly mocking when she took another step closer to his body, and slightly brought her fingers to touch his jawline, "hmm... You said that we were meant to be, so it helped. For whom were you saying those words?"
As her eyes shined with a colder glint, there was a slight smile on her lips. Gulping the leftover saliva in his mouth, Javier didn't tear his gaze away from her face even for a mere second.
"For whom will I say them, except for my wife?"
Javier's answer had a lot of certainties which almost made her heart skip a beat. At this point, there was nothing she wanted to have, except her motive.
"Is that so? For your wife? Saying Those words in the midst of your engagement with another girl....hmm.. that is quite interesting or hear Mr. Johnson. After all, not everyone has the courage to say and dedicate words in front of their fiance.." was that a mock? Javier gave it a thought but knew she was only interested in insulting him somehow.
Neither did he object since the mistake was from his side, not from hers. "You are hurt." The word let a small chuckle escape her lips.
As she traced her fingers from his chin to his neck, she lifted his eyes to face hers, as to make him initially tear into her eyes. "Hurt? What will you expect your wife to feel?"
"Will she bless you? Will she say that, 'Oh! I'm too happy for you, go and make children and you guys will be a wonderful couple?' Should I have said this to you, and that fucking bitch?"
Subconsciously, her hand traced from his face to his broad shoulders, down to his hand. Without tearing her gaze from his intoxicating eyes, those warm hands' touch almost makes him feel a shiver down his spine.
Yes! The mighty Javier was first of all feeling fear consuming him, just by the simple transformation of his wife!
"J..Jennifer… we.. can talk about this while sitting." Javier managed to utter those words when he tried to cup her face into his palm yet she stank it away, "Don't touch me!"
Stepping backward, Jennifer's soft and teasing face was replaced by how fierce she looked. No one can deny that her aura was damn authoritative and Javier was worried about her mental health, "Jennifer.."
"You want to touch me? You say that I'm your wife, isn't it?" Jennifer asked with her indifferent tone to receive a vigorous nod from his side.
Getting a positive response from him, did she carry out her revenge? Taking his hand into hers, Jennifer massaged his palms a bit before her fingers caught the ring which he wore, "Emily made you wear this tonight."
"Y..yeah.." Javier had no idea why she was behaving in this manner. Her stare was fixed at the ring as if she would eat it up.
"Then…" Jennifer simply slid it out of his engagement finger without waiting for him to react. Yet, to her surprise, Javier never revoked it to her actions.
'Doesn't he even care?' She was conflicted yet it never stopped her from taking the steps she wanted to.
Staring it for a while, did she reply back, "Dakota's have seriously chosen a good as well as a unique ring for their son-in-law. Too sad that it will only end up as waste now.."
With this, Jennifer stepped back before entering the washroom. As she switched the lights on, all Jennifer did was walk towards the toilet.
Taking the last book of the ring in her hand, her lips curled upwards.
'You made Javier wear this ring in the hope that you can claim him? Neither will this engagement be valid.. nor any of your precious ring in his hand anymore!' She will be stubborn in removing the sign of authority over him by this!
At last, the ring dropped from her hand which landed inside the toilet cup. As she used her hands, it flushed the water as the sound of fishing filled the entire bathroom.
Her eyes turned darker as she stood, until she found no sign of the ring anymore, "Perfect…"
Javier, who too stood behind her already saw through her actions but never entertained or interfered. Neither did he stop, nor did he try to tell her that was wrong. But in the of his mind, he knew that things won't turn into right path so easily.
But when Jennifer's gaze traveled at the door of the washroom, did she avert her gaze in his reaction to pass him a short yet meaningful smile with her eyes narrowing.
Tilting her head slightly towards the left, the words left her mouth, "Are you sad, Mr. Javier Johnsons? That your dear engagement ring is no more there with you?"
