The Invincible Strongest Student
Chapter 1374: Traces of Clues
Chapter 1374: Chapter 1374: Traces of Clues
Three needles struck simultaneously: throat, navel, and head.
Honestly, Lin Tian just jabbed those three needles randomly... But he could be sure that for Cai Li, this was a form of torture, a suffering worse than death.
The three Royal Spiritual needles, operated with Spiritual Qi, activated the previous formation, stimulating every cell and nerve beside the silver needles, delivering sensations of agony transmitted to the brain through the central nervous system, capable of making one faint.
At this moment, Cai Li felt as such. When the first needle pierced his throat, all he felt was difficulty breathing, a sensation akin to being suffocated to death.
Later, the second and third needles were inserted into his abdomen and head, the pain comparable to directly ripping off the nails of ten fingers and pouring chili oil on top.
Cai Li whimpered a few words, clenched his teeth, his eyes rolled back twice, looking as if he was about to pass out from pain.
Lin Tian pulled out another silver needle from the cloth bag, drawing it across Cai Li’s face, speaking as he did, "If you are willing to confess, then speak honestly. If you still refuse to talk, the next needle will jab your left waist. It won’t be just incontinence anymore; perhaps you’ll spend your life in a wheelchair. Of course, there are no such things like wheelchairs in prison."
This kind of torture, even the few who had undergone special training and had great endurance could barely withstand it. Much less Cai Li.
This fellow was already on the verge of breaking down, and now being scared like this by Lin Tian, even before the needle went in, Cai Li had already wet himself. Wu Yong gagged incessantly in disgust.
Then, Lin Tian saw this guy blinking furiously, as fast as if having a spasm.
Receiving the anticipated answer, Lin Tian smiled smugly, then reached out both hands to retrieve all three silver needles. He then charged his right index finger and poked Cai Li’s chest lightly, allowing the guy to catch his breath.
Having walked away from the gates of hell, Cai Li was drenched in sweat, his lips parched, gasping for air greedily.
Lin Tian did not rush him; without catching his breath, this guy wouldn’t be able to speak at all.
At the moment Lin Tian withdrew the needles, Wu Yong had already stood up, then quickly stepped to the corner, a loud ’ugh’ sound, vomiting out all the food he had eaten that night.
Mei Ruyan saw Wu Yong’s miserable state and couldn’t help but laugh and ask, "Is it that exaggerated? You’re about to puke your bile out, aren’t you?"
Wu Yong took a vigorous breath, then straightened his waist to stand up, looking aggrieved like a child at Mei Ruyan saying, "Sister, the smell on him...ugh, no, I can’t think about it."
Mei Ruyan seldom laughed, her usual expression always a warning to strangers not to approach. But she was so amused by Wu Yong that she laughed heartily, nearly unable to straighten her waist.
Wu Yong’s expression became even more aggrieved. He glanced at Cai Li who was still convulsing in the corner, then looked at Lin Tian saying, "Tian, those needles just now..."
Lin Tian squinted his eyes and laughed, "Why, you want to learn?"
Wu Yong nodded wildly, "I want to learn, I want to learn, damn, that was so cool!"
Lin Tian laughed along. Learning this is basically impossible, because Wu Yong doesn’t have the Royal Spiritual needles, and he lacks Spiritual Qi, even if he had it, he couldn’t manipulate it with the same freedom as Lin Tian, most likely it would result in a fatal accident with a little carelessness.
Lin Tian’s mouth lifted slightly as he said, "Learning this is quite simple, but you have to experience it personally once."
"You mean, jab me several times?" Wu Yong was sweating bullets.
"Isn’t it simple?"
Wu Yong hurriedly waved his hand: "Forget it, I suddenly lost interest."
Joking around, experiencing personally just to learn this? Crazy!
After sharing a few laughs with Wu Yong, Lin Tian glanced at Cai Li who had finally caught his breath, then lightly kicked him saying, "Confess."
Cai Li swallowed another mouthful, weakly saying, "It was Mr. Zou. He gave me five hundred thousand to drive and crash into them. If the man died, there would be an extra two hundred thousand."
"Seventy thousand, worth it?" Lin Tian asked nonchalantly.
After speaking, he glanced again at Cai Li’s attire, thinking perhaps it really was worth it to him.
Cai Li took another breath and said, "I have lung cancer, it’s already late stage. The doctor said I probably have six months left. He’s already given me fifty thousand; even if the remaining twenty thousand hasn’t been given, I wouldn’t feel shortchanged."
Lin Tian then understood why the guy’s eyes were so lifeless earlier, looking indifferent to everything. A person close to death, what would they care?
Thinking about it, with such filth on a person, if they were free of illness, that would be abnormal.
Originally Lin Tian wanted this guy to rot in jail for a few years, until he died of old age, to really vent his anger. But this guy only had six months left, which saved a lot of trouble.
Pushing aside extraneous thoughts, Lin Tian asked, "Who is this Mr. Zou? When did he look for you?"
Spending money to hire people to commit hit and run, if not done properly, could backfire terribly. It usually involves someone one can trust, indicating there’s much valuable information in Cai Li’s words.
"I don’t know what Mr. Zou does, he looked for me a few days ago." Cai Li said.
Lin Tian lightly frowned, "You don’t know Mr. Zou?"
"I didn’t know him before."
"Then why did he find you? I don’t see any trustworthy trait in you," Lin Tian said flatly. He felt this guy was deceiving him again.
Cai Li hung his head, saying, "Boss, how would I dare lie to you now? It’s true! I previously slashed someone with a knife, served jail time, that Mr. Zou somehow found out, and inexplicably came to me, saying I’m a ruthless person, and he trusted me with the task. That’s when he gave me fifty thousand; I’ve already transferred the money to my mother."
"Mr. Zou." Lin Tian murmured these three words. Zou is not a common surname, not necessarily a real name, and those involved in this would seldom use their real name. So to track someone by just a surname is very tough.
"What does this Mr. Zou look like?" Lin Tian asked.
"Ordinary, four to fifty years old appearance, crew cut, eyes neither big nor small, nose slightly flattened. Approximately 1.8 meters tall." Cai Li said.
In Lin Tian’s mind, he didn’t recall such a person. But with Cai Li’s description, tracking may prove difficult.
"Did he transfer you the fifty thousand through bank transaction?" Lin Tian asked.
Cai Li shook his head, "No, it was cash. A big bag, seeing that much money convinced me."
"Quite cautious indeed."
After a few more questions, Cai Li kept answering he didn’t know, so Lin Tian chose not to proceed further.
"Let’s go, this guy only knows this much. Such a waste of effort."
Prior to arriving, Lin Tian had already predicted not gaining much, because incidents like this, never leave traces. Despite the scant information, it was still somewhat worthwhile.
