Theoretically speaking, for Lu Li and Leng Wuxin to fly on the lotus at the top of its speed, they would arrive at the portal to the Central Imperial Universe in about 10 days.

That lotus could travel at a speed comparable to an Earth Immortal Realm warrior while Lu Li could only be as fast as a Human Sovereign Realm warrior at the middle stage. It would cost him more than half a month, then, to fly over in a straight line.

However—Lu Li could not swagger around and fly in a straight line even though Leng Wuxin had told him the Beasts of Primordial Chaos in the Prison of Gold would not attack him. That being said, there were many warriors hiding in cultivation in the Prison of Gold. It was possible that Lu Li would run into the powerful ones and him being arrogant might cost his own life.

Sacrifice before achieving triumph was not Lu Li’s agenda. Before he gained a clear picture of the situation in the Prison of God, he had to remain a low key. He leaped around in the mountains and relied purely on physical strength to go on.

In this way, he was moving very slowly. He wouldn’t even be able to reach the portal in two or three months going on like this.

Mountains of gold, mountains of dark golden colors, of black or grey colors…there was no dirty in the mountains, only mines and metals. Trees were few and far between and the ones surviving here had peculiar shapes.

Lu Li had been on the way for half a day without running into any beings or rivers. There was no animals. He hadn’t seen a single Beast of Primordial Chaos and not even an insect…

It was more like a land of the dead. To travel in this place made him feel frustrated. He was getting agitated before he knew it.

Lu Li had enough clean water and food in his Interspatial Ring for him to survive for several years. Another half a day passed when Lu Li finally ran into a Beast of Primordial Chaos.

Lu Li had just hopped onto a black stone when it moved, to his shock. Two black eyes were opened and it showed its sword-like sharp teeth.

It was miraculous though…

Lu Li’s Buddha prayer bead had strong power. It was as if the Beast of Primordial Chaos didn’t see him. It just opened its eyes, moved a bit and then fell back into sleep.

Lu Li hopped off immediately and walked around the “black stone” for a bit before he confirmed that this was a Beast of Primordial Chaos. They were a group of strange beings living in the Prison of God. He wouldn’t be able to tell that he had encountered a Beast of Primordial Chaos without getting close. The Beasts of Primordial Chaos here had no vital signs and looked no different from a boulder…

Lu Li was not only 30 feet away from the Beast of Primordial Chaos which showed no reaction. He felt greatly emboldened. At least, in the Prison of Gold, he needn’t concern about attacks from Beasts of Primordial Chaos or else he would never reach the portal to the Central Imperial Universe relying on himself.

Feeling more confident, Lu Li begun to fly on Fate Wheel close to the ground, which wouldn’t alarm many people. He had to fly considering that walking was far too slow.

“Whoosh~”

The Fate Wheel carried him and moved on quickly, flying close to the mountains. Lu Li didn’t speed up. He was only travelling at a speed of the peak of the Noble Lord Realm.

Half a day had passed and then one day!

Lu Li saw no humans. He did find five other Beasts of Primordial Chaos, four of which were like mountains on the ground and one was wandering around sluggishly.

It was likely that the Buddha prayer bead could hide Lu Li’s breath of life. When he flew past the Beasts of Primordial Chaos, they didn’t even look at him, which amazed him…

It was the third day now. Lu Li was flying across in between two mountains when he made a sudden stop as he felt a streak of powerful psychic power checking him abruptly.

Finally, he was about to meet another human being!

The warrior was powerful, of at least…the Earth Immortal Realm!

Lu Li didn’t show any ill intent nor made any sudden moves. Faced with an Earth Immortal Realm warrior, he was no different from an infant. This person could crush him with a simple move.

The only wise choice for Lu Li was to stand there with respect and wait. He felt fortunate that the psychic power vanished soon and didn’t appear again. Lu Li didn’t even know where that powerful warrior was hiding.

“Phew, phew~”

After the time for half an incense stick to burn, Lu Li finally felt he could breathe. He bowed, cupped his fists and then turned around to go another way. He kept flying for a very long time before he paused. He felt cold sweat running off from his forehead. Leng Wuxin didn’t lie to him. There indeed were many old warriors hiding in cultivation here.

“Why would so many old warriors choose to cultivate at the Prison of Gold?”

Lu Li felt puzzled. It was easier to learn Profound Meanings in the Inferno, the Prison of Fire. Was the situation similar in the Prison of Gold? Could it be even easier here? Otherwise, why would those warriors cultivate here in seclusion? Prison of Gold was a desolate place with nothing, making it a bad choice for residence.

Flying on, Lu Li remained in a low key. He practically was flying an inch off the ground. In this way, he wouldn’t alert any cultivating warriors. If he were to fly, swaggering in midair, he might anger any of the old warriors, which could lead to the end of his life in a split of a second.

He had encountered many Beasts of Primordial Chaos along the way. Some were as huge as a mountain while others were like boulders. Some were hiding in the mountains and could be mistaken for a rock or a piece of metal when they weren’t moving…

Lu Li flew on for five days in peace. Apart from the mysterious warrior he ran into on day three, he didn’t meet another soul, which relieved him a little. The Prison of Gold was big. There were warriors here but it was not necessary that he would meet another one.

Extreme joy begets sorrow!

Four hours after Lu Li had the joyous thought, he ran into humans again. This time, there were three.

“Whoosh~”

Lu Li was flying in a mountain. Fragmented lands surrounded him. It was mountains of metals all around. Suddenly, he heard a noise from front left. He made an immediate stop to try to find a place to hide. However, he was too late. Three people came over and he found himself being locked on by three streaks of psychic power.

“Three Human Sovereign Realm warriors?”

Lu Li frowned. If he had made a run for it when he was under the three streaks of psychic powers, he could anger the three warriors. What was more, Lu Li’s speed was not his advantage when he was faced with three Human Sovereign Realm warriors. He had to stand there and wait for the warriors to show themselves.

Soon, the three came forward. Instead of sitting on their Beads of Life, they were on some strange chariots which were weathered by age obviously. They were bronze in color and had beasts carved in. The beasts were giving out a dim cyan glare. Those chariots were not average artifacts.

All of the three were young men with glamorous armors on. They were humans. The one in the middle had rosy lips and pretty white teeth, a handsome toy boy but his femininity sense had overwhelmed his masculinity, making him less manly.

The other two were handsome young masters as well. They were less pretty than the one in the middle. There was a noble elegancy of that toy boy. He clearly was the leader in the three since he was standing in the middle.

The toy boy had some curly hair. He checked Lu Li up and down coldly and murmured in confusion, “Peak of the Eternal Realm? Punk, where are you from? How can you survive in the Prison of God for such a long time, given your realm?”

The toy body was speaking in the ancient language which Lu Li understood. He thought of an answer. Cupping his fists, Lu Li said, “Greetings. I am from the Central Imperial Universe. I am here with my family to cultivate. However, we ran into a bit of a mishap and I was separated from my family.”

“Central Imperial Universe?”

The name caused a surge of murderous intent in the toy body. Waving to a man next to him, the toy boy said, “Haoyang, kill him!”

“Sh*t!”

The warrior at the initial stage of the Human Sovereign Realm on the side of the toy body dashed forward. A long sword appeared in his hand as he activated Force Field. Lu Li exclaimed how unlucky he was to himself. It was evident that those were from another universe and they held a grudge against the Central Imperial Universe…

“Run!”

Lu Li was not confident enough to fight against three Human Sovereign Realm warriors. He had to run now. His Fate Wheel spun as fast as it could. Lu Li turned around and ran for his life…
