‘This Evil Qi… it’s quite dense.’

Qin Ya’s eyes narrowed slightly. But after experiencing the Evil Qi born from Meiying Venerable’s comprehension of the Mysteries of Heaven and Earth, how could he be intimidated by this?

He smiled indifferently. The True Meaning of Destruction began to circulate, accompanied by a terrifying, murderous aura. The two complemented each other, forming a fearsome pressure that swept out. Inside the Ghost Prison, the Evil Qi and killing intent intertwined, filling the air with oppressive weight.

Seeing this, the prisoners couldn’t help but show their astonishment.

“Ha! I thought he was just a gentle little lamb, but he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Interesting. A very interesting little fellow.”

“Heh heh, it’s been a while since I’ve seen something this amusing.”

“A bit of flair, but I wonder if he’s just for show.”

Faced with Qin Ya’s terrifying pressure, the prisoners in the Ghost Prison showed no fear. Instead, their eyes glinted with a strange light as they watched him with great interest.

Seeing their reaction, a hint of War Intent appeared in Qin Ya’s expression.

‘That’s right. Only they are worthy of being my opponents.’ If these people were like the prisoners from the A, B, C, and D-level prisons, he might as well just cultivate quietly by himself.

“Mansion Master, can these men serve as my opponents?”

“As long as Young Master Qin is confident, you may pick any of these prisoners.”

“Then I won’t stand on ceremony.”

Qin Ya gave a faint smile and began to stroll through the Ghost Prison.

“Heh heh, what’s this kid up to?”

“Pick any of us? He says it like we’re goods on a shelf.”

A short while later, Qin Ya stopped in front of a cell.

In the cell stood a burly, middle-aged man in a white prison uniform. His robes were open, his hair was disheveled, and his face was covered in stubble. Thick chains were bound to each of his four limbs. Although his head was lowered, the Evil Qi radiating from his body was incredibly dense.

As Qin Ya approached his cell, the large man’s head snapped up. A feral light erupted from his eyes, and a grim smile played on his lips as he said coldly, “Kid, if you’ve got the guts, let me out.”

The corner of Qin Ya’s mouth lifted slightly. “Let him out.”

“Are you sure you want him?”

“Yes. My apologies for the trouble, Mansion Master.”

The large man was stunned for a moment. He had only said that offhandedly, not expecting Qin Ya to actually have him released. And from the looks of it, this wasn’t a joke.

‘This young man… he really has that much influence.’

Fang Tianzheng smiled faintly and waved his hand. A stream of Flowing Light shot into the cell. With a CLANG, the four chains binding the large man fell away.

RUMBLE…

Then, the cell door slowly opened.

Seeing this, the large man made no sudden moves. He might not be brilliant, but he knew that with a Venerable like Fang Tianzheng present, he couldn’t stir up any trouble.

“Alright, spit it out. What do you people want?” the large man asked.

“Spar with me,” Qin Ya said calmly.

The large man ignored him, pursing his lips and looking directly at Fang Tianzheng. In his eyes, while this King named Qin Ya was decent, he wasn’t worthy of his attention.

Fang Tianzheng said indifferently, “Hu Dian, there is only one reason you’ve been released, and that is to fight Young Master Qin. You will accept, whether you want to or not.”

“Oh.”

Hu Dian looked at Qin Ya, a strange expression on his face. He then said with disdain, “Fang Tianzheng, aren’t you being a bit too cruel? You’re clearly sending this kid to his death.”

Qin Ya smiled indifferently. “If you can kill me, you can leave this Ghost Prison.”

BOOM…

The moment the words fell, a terrifying killing intent erupted from Hu Dian. He grinned and said, “I have just one question, kid. Are you serious?”

Fang Tianzheng glanced at Qin Ya. Although they hadn’t known each other long, he could tell this young man never did anything he wasn’t confident about. So, he stated indifferently, “Young Master Qin is correct. If you kill him, you can leave the Ghost Prison!”

With Fang Tianzheng’s guarantee, the entire Ghost Prison erupted into a frenzy.

“Kid, don’t pick Hu Dian! Pick me as your opponent!”

“That Hu Dian is all looks and no substance! His strength is nothing special. You’re better off picking me. I’ll be sure to tear you limb from limb!”

“Haha, kid, I’ll let you choose how you die!”

For a moment, the numerous prisoners were beside themselves with excitement, looking at Qin Ya like he was a golden ticket.

But Qin Ya paid them no mind, leading Hu Dian directly out of the Ghost Prison. Soon, the group arrived at a wide plaza within the Supervision Mansion.

“This place will do.”

With a CLANG, a long spear appeared in Qin Ya’s hand. He pointed it diagonally at Hu Dian and said coolly, “Don’t say I’m bullying you. Tell me, what weapon do you need?”

Hearing this, Hu Dian couldn’t help but find it somewhat amusing.

‘Bullying him?’

A top-tier Half-Venerable dueling a mere King. Who exactly was bullying whom? ‘This kid really doesn’t know his own limits, daring to challenge me.’

“These two hands are all I need to kill you.”

The large man’s gaze sharpened, his tone carrying a hint of excitement.

In his eyes, Qin Ya was already his ticket out of the Ghost Prison.

BOOM…

A terrifying aura erupted from Hu Dian’s body. He stomped his feet, leaving two large craters in the ground, and shot forward. At the same time, Divine Light flowed across his body, transforming into Wind-Fire Qi that condensed in his palms before he thrust them out violently!

Wind and Fire intertwined, unleashing a terrifying power that made the very void rumble!

“The Mysteries of Wind and Fire?”

“Mysterious Technique… Heaven’s Woe and Earth’s Misery!”

Qin Ya’s gaze focused. The True Meaning of Destruction circulated and condensed in his palm as he, too, thrust out a palm. As the two palms met, an incredibly powerful force swept out in a massive wave. The ground beneath their feet was instantly shattered, a giant fissure a hundred zhang long cracking open, with endless sand and soil tumbling down its sides.

The terrifying power made the void tremble and continuously rumble!!

Hu Dian’s eyes narrowed slightly, a look of shock on his face.

To be clear, in order to leave the Ghost Prison, he had held nothing back with that palm strike, using eighty percent of his power. Yet this young man had actually managed to block it.

‘Is… is he really a King?’

Not far away, the two masters of the Supervision Mansion also wore expressions of surprise.

The Vice Mansion Master said with a look of awe, “This Young Master Qin is truly extraordinary. To be able to resist a Half-Venerable like Hu Dian at the King Realm… it’s simply unbelievable.”

Saying this, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of inadequacy.

He recalled that when he was Qin Ya’s age, he hadn’t even broken through to the Extraordinary Realm yet. But here was someone who could fight a top-tier Half-Venerable expert.

The gap… was simply despairing.

Even Fang Tianzheng, a Venerable, showed a hint of surprise before smiling faintly. “The Priest was right after all. If this Qin Ya doesn’t die young, he will surely become a peerless expert in the future. Befriending him now will only bring benefits, no harm.”

“The Divine Lord is wise,” the Vice Mansion Master said with a faint smile.

At this moment, an even more terrifying energy erupted from both Qin Ya and his opponent.

With a deafening boom, the two were both blasted back several dozen zhang.
