Chapter 956: Love Is Pure

Several hours into the night, I was wrapped on either side by Janine and Orchid. The bed was a mess of fluids. I had tired both of them out, or so I thought as I felt someone poking my face.

Opening my eyes, I was about to quip about regretting waking me up for another round, but I was surprised to find it was neither of them that were poking me, but Valerica.

I frowned in confusion for a moment before it dawned on me why she was here.

I nodded my head at her and with the arm that Orchid was using as a pillow, I raised a finger to tell her one minute.

She nodded her head and took a few steps away from the bed and proceeded to watch me as I slinked my way out of bed.

It was much easier than anticipated, Janine was out like the dead and Orchid was full and satisfied in more ways than one, there was no reason for her to wake up.

Once out of bed, I walked over to the side of the room where one of the last clean towels available were and I wrapped it around me before following Valerica out of the room.

We walked in silence until we reached her gym, at which point she tapped a panel on the wall, activating a mesh grid defence around the room which was soundproof.

"Morning baby, did you sleep well?" Valeric asked me as she approached.

"Depends on the time."

"It’s five in the morning. I wanted to make sure we had time for our pankration without distractions." Valerica said with a cheerful expression.

"Then I have had one hour’s sleep. But I feel plenty rested." I said and Valerica rolled her eyes.

"Yes, ’rested’ I could smell your ’rested’ all over the room. I could see Janine and Orchid glazed with your dried ’rested’ Come to think of it, you still reek of rested. Do you mind giving yourself a fire cleanse?"

"Oh, yeah. Sorry." I said, throwing my towel to the side before fulminating in flames. Removing all the impurities from my body.

"It’s fine, my baby. I love you in your entirety, that includes all your smells and the things that come out of your body. Now, are you sure you have had enough rest?" Valerica asked to be safe.

I nodded my head. "Yeah, I’m fine. I only sleep nightly to keep a schedule and all that crap. I can easily go a week at minimum without sleep with my current enhancements. Don’t worry about me."

Valerica suddenly reached out and grabbed my chin and softly laughed. "Apollo, you are my son. I am always going to worry about you. Now, are you ready?"

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest as she said that. I nodded my head.

"Good." Valerica said before removing her sports bra and her hot pants. exposing all seven feet of goodness "let’s oil up!"

Using our hands, without any shame or embarrassment, Valerica and I proceeded to cover each other’s bodies in the oil. It was therapeutic. To be so close to someone like this. The trust and bond needed to be comfortable enough to do this for one another.

"You are smiling, why?" Valerica asked as her gaze and hands began to work on my abs.

"Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you in my life."

Valerica gasped and looked up into my eyes. "Don’t say sweet stuff before we fight! You’ll make my heart give out." She then paused for a moment before reaching up to cup my face. "And you give my life purpose. I am so grateful for everything you have done and will continue to do, Apollo."

We gave each other a knowing smile before continuing our task. I finished doing her upper body and she finished doing mine before she started on my lower. While she was polishing my spear, she suddenly paused.

Looking down, I was confused as she was just staring at the floor.

"Valerica?" I spoke. In response she sighed and stood up and looked me straight in the eyes before declaring,

"Apollo, we need to talk about last night."

"We do?" I asked, confused by what she meant.

Perhaps to ease her nerves, Valerica continued her task of applying oil as she spoke.

"Yes, Apollo. About what happened at the end of that kissing game. What I did... How long I did it. I am ashamed of myself."

I frowned. Sure the kiss went on for a while and I did enjoy it, but it was part of the game.

"Valerica, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Serena was probably enjoying watching the show and forgot to stop us when it was time. I have a feeling she enjoys watching acts like that..."

"Yeah, she is a massive perverse slut." Valerica nodded her head before shaking it. "But that is not all. Apollo, I will never lie to you, so I will be upfront like always. I enjoyed that kiss. Not just in the confines of the game. In those moments, I didn’t think of you as my child. I thought of myself as a woman and you a man... And I indulged in all those suppressed emotions I think we both have towards each other..."

She took a large sigh

"Apollo, I don’t want you to hate me, but since you came back, I have been having some very nasty thoughts about you... About Kitten. About how I wish I met you before she did... But I also know I love being your mother. I love it so much. The feeling I get in my chest when I hear about you, when I see you. When you make me proud...

But then there is that possessive side of me... That part that abhors the fact Serena is so blatantly wanting to fuck you. I keep thinking of you as mine and that if you are going to have sex with anyone in this family... It... It would be me, not her... I-I..."

Valerica’s chin began to shiver as her eyes began to pool with tears. She then collapsed into me. "I’m sorry, Apollo. I am so selfish. I am scum!"

Instantly upon hearing that, I wrapped my arms around her body and pulled her so tight I was threatening to hurt the both of us.

"Never say that! EVER! Scum?!? Valerica you are one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. From day one, the love you have shown me is more than I ever could have thought possible.

You practically took me as your own like it was the most natural thing in the world... So what if you have sexual thoughts and feelings about me? I don’t care. I definitely have thought about you in that way before. We have both said numerous times how hot we find each other.

No, what matters is that we love each other. That love is pure. That love is everything. All the other stuff, doesn’t matter. If you ever call yourself scum again, I will kick your ass so hard, the rest of the Hyllus bloodline will feel it, do you understand me?"

Valerica let out a breathy giggle, but didn’t say anything for a few moments. She simply grasped onto me as hard as she could while she composed herself.

She then suddenly realised something hard was pressed between me and her and she swiftly pulled back.

"Apollo? Why are you hard right now?"

"Hey, it’s morning, you were actively stroking it while we were talking and then we were pressed up close together while our bodies were covered in what is essentially lube. I promise you I was taking everything said seriously."

Valerica nodded. "Good. As I am very raw right now, but I am not easy. It’s a good thing you have self control, it would be a shame to rip that thing off your body. Now hurry up and go limp so we can resume talking."

That wasn’t a difficult task considering she just veiled a threat to rip my buddy off.

Once the situation was defused, we both looked at each other. Valerica had just said some very heavy stuff. "So... What do we do from here?" She asked.

I pursed my lips for a moment before replying. "I think a lot of things have just come to the surface. Both of us have to re-evaluate just exactly what we mean to the other. But one thing hasn’t changed. We both love each other. That is a fact. That hasn’t changed. That won’t change. So I am willing to follow your lead on this, what do you want to do?"

Valerica fell into contemplation. She had a lot to think about. A lot to act on. There wasn’t enough time to think of it all before Apollo left. She was glad she said what she did, but Apollo was also right. With how they were, how they have been since they first met, nothing changed.

She still loved Apollo and he had not run away in terror yet...

This was good.

Looking at her man, all grown up. She smiled lovingly.

"I think I simply want to engage my love in a friendly Pankration session."

I smiled back at her and nodded before replying,

"Very well, then turn around then so I can oil up that cake of yours before we begin."
