"Dinner is nearly ready! Everyone, take a seat at the dining table!" I suddenly heard from the kitchen and it took everything not to shove past everyone and everything.

I was so excited. I hadn’t had anything to eat in hours!

"Right. Sorry. This has been a weird first interaction. I was just coming to tell you that food is nearly ready and we are all waiting for you to join us in the dining room."

Serena became overwhelmed with confusion. "What are you talking about? Its-" Serena paused as she looked over at the clock in the room. ’What? How has it been nearly forty minutes since I left the shower? Does that mean I have been... For that long? I’ve never lasted that long before?’
