Grandfather Fu spoke with Officer Su and even phoned him with his private number.

After speaking in detail with him, Grandfather Fu understood the situation a lot.

"Jia Li's parents are so unfortunate to encounter the Loan sharks." Grandfather Fu said.

"Why would her parents borrow money from the main sharks?!." Fu Hee asked in a heavy tone.

"Don't spout nonsense if you don't know the truth. Jia Li's parents did not borrow money from the loan sharks, the loan sharks went to the wrong address." Grandfather Fu explained.

"What?! Father, is that even possible?." Fu Hee asked.

She found the circumstance a little out of hand. How could the loan sharks go to the wrong address to beat people to death? How did they misplace the address of their client?

"There is more to this. The loan sharks that were caught are still under investigation. We will find out everything that happened when we get there." Grandfather Fu said.

Fu Hua who has been standing by the side with furrowed brows spoke up.

"I think something is fishy. Apart from going to the wrong address, how come they didn't recognize the person that borrowed money from them?."

"Fu Hua, gather your things and assign tasks to your HOD's, you are coming with me." Grandfather Fu said to Fu Hua.

Fu Hua nodded in agreement before walking away. He didn't want to follow his grandfather, because whatever happened there had nothing to do with him.

And he just promised his girlfriend a vacation, now, he has to cancel the plans.

He didn't want to go, but a part of him wanted to go, for Jia Li. His cold heart softened because of her situation. 

"Father, can I come along?." Fu Hee asked. Not because she really cares about Jia Li, but because she wanted answers to her questions.

"You are the first daughter-in-law and the Mistress of this family. Do you really want to leave this house for other people to manage for you, while you come with us to do nothing?." Grandfather Fu asked in an angry tone.

"I'm sorry, I will stay back and manage the family." Fu Hee replied.

How could she have forgotten such an important detail? Fu ChunHua and her family were still around. If she leaves her task and role and travel, would her ears rest when she comes back?

Fu ChunHua might even start dragging position with her since she has stood in the gap for her.

Fu Hee agreed to stay back to take care of the family.

Very quickly, Fu Hua packed his laptop and a few of his things in a suitcase before dragging them to the living room.

He didn't know how long they were going to stay over there, so he had better go prepared.

"Fu Hua, help to contact Jia Li's family when you get over there. At least, all responsibilities will not be on us." Fu Hee said to Fu Hua in a low tone.

Fu Hua gave her a cold glance before walking away.

"Hmm... did I say something wrong?." Fu Hee asked when she felt that cold gaze from her son.

Some minutes later, the doctor was done stabilizing Jia Li's condition.

Grandfather Fu was curious about what happened to her, so the doctor explained.

"It is a telepathy instinct. She kept calling for her parents, which means she can feel their distress."

"How come?." Fu Hee asked. 

The doctor sighed and explained further. "Miss Jia Li can feel the emotions of the people she loves. She can tell when they are happy and when they are in trouble, and distress can not be a barrier." 

"Doctor, you're coming with us. Something serious indeed happened to Jia Li's parents, and I think she may not be strong enough to receive the shock. And in that case, you have to stabilize her." Grandfather Fu said.

The doctor had no reason to reject the request since he didn't have any emergency appointments at the hospital.

When Jia Li walked out of the room with her servant, there was silence.

"Miss Qin, the jet is ready, we can leave now." Fu Hua spoke up before Jia Li could ask any question.

In three minutes, they set out in two cars with three military cars as an escort.

Jia Li should have been in the same car with the Old man, but because he had to settle some things without her knowledge, he arranged for her to sit with Fu Hua in the same car.

That way too, Jia Li won't be able to ask him any more questions. So in this case, Fu Hua was the best fit for her.

Throughout the journey, Jia Li was apprehensive. Fu Hua had this cold attitude, and she couldn't ask him anything.

She also couldn't ask for her phone as he was the one with it.

Deep down Jia Li's heart, she knew that her parents were in trouble, and for that reason, her heart couldn't be at rest.

when their cars got to the military camp, they switched over and boarded the Jet.

Grandfather Fu made Jia Li sit close to Fu Hua again. Jia Li was getting frustrated by the minute.

The only time Fu Hua spoke was when he made a call to his Assistant about work.

Then apart from when he gave her a passing glance, he didn't look at her again.

About 30 minutes later, their Jet landed, and there were military cars available to pick them up.

"Fu Hua, you will go to the station with the lieutenant to find out things from that end. The doctor and the butler will follow Jia Li and me to the hospital." Grandfather Fu Instructed.

When Jia Li, heard she was going to the hospital, she began to panic.

"Grandfather, why are we going to the hospital?." Jia Li asked with tears in her eyes.

"We are going to see your Father." Grandfather Fu replied in a heavy tone.

Jia Li never knew that things would be so serious. She thought her father got into trouble with the police, but nobody told her he would be in the hospital.

Jia Li kept asking questions, but Grandfather advised her to save her strength.

'Save my strength, what does that mean?'
