Chapter 391: Chapter 391 The battle promise 2

Talia’s POV

Kaelen’s lips found my breast, and I cried out, with my back arching against the bed.

His tongue was warm and soft, and his hands held my hips steady. He took his time, exploring every part of me, and memorizing every curve.

I squirmed beneath him, as my body trembled with need.

"Please," I whispered.

He looked up at me, and his gray eyes were dark with desire. "Please what?"

I could not answer, because I did not have the words.

He smiled, just a little, and lowered his head again.

His mouth moved lower, down my stomach, and down my hips, until he found the place between my legs. His tongue licked, and sucked, and I thought I would die from the pleasure.

Just when I thought it could not get any more than that, I felt two of his fingers slide in to me, and he moved them back and forth, while his tongue kept sucking nonstop at the same time.

My back arched off the bed, and my fingers tugged at his hair.

I could barely breathe, because the pleasure was overwhelming. I could not think, and I could not speak, I could only feel.

He held me steady, with his hands firm on my hips, and he did not stop until I was crying out his name.

"Kae...len... please... oh... Kae...len," I cried out, with pleasure filling my voice, and not caring about who heard me outside the door.

Only after I cried out his name, did he rise above me.

He stood up, helped me off the bed, and brought me to my knees. Then he held my hair back with one hand, and put his huge shaft in to my hand with the other.

His huge shaft was hard, and it moved against my mouth, blocking every sound that was trying to get out.

I looked up at Kaelen, and saw that his head was tilted backwards, as he groaned from pleasure.

Then he stopped, lifted me up, laid me down on the bed, and joined our bodies together.

We moved together, slow and sweet. His forehead pressed against mine, and his gray eyes stayed open, watching me. He kissed me as we moved, and I kissed him back.

I felt whole, I felt safe, and I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

I looked into his eyes, and I saw the love there, the trust, and the promise. This was not just a moment of passion, this was a beginning.

He moved inside me, faster and harder, until my release spilled all over the place, and his followed after.

When it was over, we lay tangled together, breathing hard. His hand rested on my stomach, and my head was on his chest. The fire crackled in the hearth, and the shadows danced on the walls.

He kissed the top of my head. "I love you," he said again.

"I love you too," I replied softly.

We lay in silence for a long time, holding each other, and I felt the weight of everything that had happened slowly fade away.

Then Kaelen stirred beneath me. He pressed another kiss to my forehead, and his voice was soft. "Come," he said. "Let me take care of you."

I looked up at him, and I saw the love in his gray eyes. I nodded, and I let him lift me.

He stood, and he carried me to the bathroom.

The water was already warm, and steam rose from the tub. I knew that he must had prepared it earlier, while I was with my mother.

He stepped into the tub with me, and he lowered us both into the water. I leaned back against his chest, and I felt the warmth of the water seeping into my tired muscles.

Kaelen reached for the cloth, and he dipped it into the water. Then he began to wash me, slowly and gently. He washed my arms, my shoulders, and my back. Then he washed my hair, with his fingers massaging my scalp. It was the most intimate thing anyone had ever done for me.

"Kaelen," I said, and my voice was soft.

"Yes, Talia?" he asked.

"Thank you," I said. "For everything."

He pressed a kiss to my shoulder. "You do not have to thank me."

I turned in his arms, and I looked at him. "I do. I have never had anyone take care of me before. Not like this."

He looked at me, and I saw the love in his gray eyes. "You have me now. And you will always have me."

We sat in the tub until the water grew cold, and then he helped me out. He dried me with a soft towel, and he carried me back to the bed. He pulled back the blankets, and he laid me down gently.

Then he climbed in beside me, and he pulled me into his arms.

"I love you," he said again.

"I love you too," I said.

We lay there, and I felt the warmth of his body against mine. The fire had died completely, but I did not feel the cold, I only felt him.

I closed my eyes, and I let myself rest.

My body was heavy, and my muscles ached in a way that made me smile. I felt warm, and safe, and loved. I had not known that it was possible to feel this way, until I met Kaelen, and that was another thing I was most grateful for.

The war was coming, and I did not know what the morning would bring. But I knew one thing: I had made my promise, and he had made his.

So we would come back, together.
