The Hidden Luna of Blackmoor Valley
Chapter 184 The Bite 2
Chapter 184: Chapter 184 The Bite 2
Talia’s POV
I smiled, and I felt the tears prick at my eyes again.
Lyra had accepted the bond as much as I had, and she had claimed Kaelen as her own.
Kaelen pulled me close and kissed me, and I kissed him back. The kiss was hungry and desperate, and full of all the love we had for each other. His hands moved to my waist, and I felt the heat building between us.
We fell onto the bed together, with our bodies tangled, and our lips never parting. His hands moved to the hem of my nightgown, and he pulled it over my head.
I felt the cool air on my skin, and I shivered. But his hands were warm, and his touch was gentle. This time, I did not feel exposed, I felt safe.
I did the same with his shirt, with my fingers tracing the planes of his chest.
His skin was warm, and his muscles were firm beneath my touch. I could feel the strength in his body, and the power that had returned to him.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I replied.
He kissed my neck, my collarbone, and my chest. I gasped at the feel of his lips on my skin, and my fingers curled into his hair. His hands roamed my body, gentle but insistent.
Every touch was deliberate, and every kiss was a promise. I knew that he was not just making love to me, he was claiming me, and I was claiming him.
And I felt the heat building inside me.
His lips found my breast, and I cried out, with my back arching against the bed. His tongue was warm and soft, and his hands held my hips steady. He took his time, exploring every part of me, and memorizing every curve, over, and over again.
I squirmed beneath him, as my body kept trembling with need.
I felt like I was burning, like I would die if he did not touch me. My body was aching for him, and I could not hold back any longer.
"Please," I whispered.
He looked up at me, and his gray eyes dark with desire. "Please what?"
I could not answer, because I did not have the words.
He smiled, just a little, and lowered his head again.
His mouth moved lower, down my stomach and down my hips.
I could feel his breath on my skin, warm and teasing. He was taking his time, drawing out the pleasure, and I was losing my mind.
Until he found the place between my legs, and I thought I would die from the pleasure. My back arched off the bed, and my fingers tugged at his hair.
I could barely breathe, because the pleasure was overwhelming. I could not think, and could not speak, I could only feel.
He held me steady, with his hands firm on my hips, and he did not stop until I was crying out his name.
Only then did he rise above me and join our bodies together.
We moved together, slow and sweet.
We were in perfect sync, as our bodies moved together like they had been made for this moment. I felt like I was floating, and like nothing else existed but him and me.
His forehead pressed against mine, and his gray eyes stayed open, watching me. He kissed me as we moved, and I kissed him back.
I felt whole, and I felt safe.
This was where I belonged. In his arms, with his heart beating against mine, because nothing else mattered.
I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
He moved inside me, faster and harder.
I clung to him, with my fingers digging into his shoulders, and my cries muffled against his neck. The pleasure was building, rising, and threatening to consume me.
And I felt my release spill out, and his followed after.
When it was over, we lay tangled together, breathing hard.
We were both covered in sweat, with our bodies still trembling from the intensity of what we had just shared. I could hear his heart pounding in his chest, fast and strong.
His hand rested on my stomach, and my head was on his chest. The fire crackled in the hearth, and the shadows danced on the walls.
He kissed the top of my head.
"I love you," he said again.
"I love you too," I whispered back.
I touched the mark on my neck and smiled.
I could still feel the ache of the bite, and the tenderness of the wound. But it was a good pain, and a reminder of what we had done.
I was his, and he was mine. And now, we are bound together, forever.
As we lay there in the Aftermath of our complete bond, with the steady rhythm of his breathing flowing with mine, and the embers of the fire casting golden shadows across his face, I understood that the fear I had carried for so long had finally dissolved into something resembling peace, and replaced by an unshakeable certainty, that I had found exactly where I belonged.
The worst was behind us, and the future was ahead.
And whatever comes next, we would face it together.
