Chapter 108: Chapter 108 Afterwards entanglement 2
Talia’s POV
I looked up at him. "But I am not used to calling higher ranked people by their names, because Vivienne disliked it back at Cresswood."
"Forget about the higher ranked people," he said. "I am your mate, and that makes both of us one. So forget whatever Vivienne said, and what rules you have to follow in Cresswood, because those are the past. Now say my name."
I looked at him and swallowed hard, like I had just been given a big task to carry out.
"Talia? I am waiting," he said.
"Alp... K... Kaelen," I stammered.
"Good. Now that is a start." He kissed my forehead. "Don’t forget that I am always here for you, and I’ll always protect you."
I nodded, because I did not know what to say, and I believed him, because I knew he would indeed protect me.
He pulled me closer again, and we fell into another round of comfortable silence. Then I closed my eyes.
Neither of us said anything after that, because words were not necessary. Not after what we had shared, and not after the way he had looked at me, touched me, and held me like I was something precious.
Soon, I started to doze off, when I felt something scraping against the mattress. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kaelen holding a cloth that looked wet, and he was cleaning off something on the bed.
I looked down to see a spot of something that looked like a blood stain on the place he was cleaning, and it faded with every wipe he made with the cloth.
My face burned with heat, because I had read in the library about what that meant.
I tried to move from the bed so I could go and take a shower, but Kaelen stopped me.
"Do not move from the bed. I’ll be back in a bit," he said.
I stayed frozen on the bed, and just nodded, as I stared at him.
Then he turned, walked to the bathroom, dropped the cloth, returned, and carried me to the bathroom before I could even say a word.
He put me down gently on the bathtub, which had been made into a bubble bath, and it had the scent of lavender steaming out of it.
The water seeped into my skin, and made my whole body relax further.
"When did you do this?" I asked.
"Not too long ago, while you started to doze off," he said.
I wanted to wash my body, but he refused, and got in behind me on the tub, and began to wash my body with a soft, almost foam-like sponge.
After a few minutes, his fingers traced down my chest, down to my waist, and to the surface of my entrance. Then he began to gently rub on it with two fingers.
I gasped and moaned from pleasure, as electricity shot up my body, and pleasure filled my nerves. I wanted more, but he kissed my neck and moved his hands to cup my breasts.
The amount of pleasure I could feel was so high, that it felt like I might go crazy from it.
Kaelen kissed my neck again, and whispered hot in my ear. "Let’s save this for another day. You have not had something to eat all day, and you need to recover your energy from the first round. We will take it slow, and steady. Okay?"
Even though I wanted to argue that I did not need food right now, only him, and my wolf was pressing for more of his touch as well, I nodded slowly and bit my lower lip hard.
He pressed my body against his, and he rinsed off any trace of soap on our skin at the same time.
He wrapped me up in a big towel that was not there before, and carried me to the bed.
I wrapped my hands around my body instantly, as I balanced myself on the bed.
Then Kaelen carried a tray of food from the desk containing rice, a plate of salad that I had only seen Vivienne and Celeste eat, and it also had a bowl of fresh fruits on it, and he placed it in front of me.
"Eat," he said.
"What about you?" I asked.
"I’ll join you," he said. "I just want to get you a dress, so you can feel comfortable, before I sit down."
He gave me the dress after wearing his shorts and taking off the towel around his waist. Then he sat down beside me to eat.
The food was warm, which meant that it was not the same one that the servant brought this morning.
We ate in silence, but it was not the strange or uncomfortable kind of silence. When we were done, I tried to carry the empty tray to the desk, but he refused, and carried it instead.
I tried to argue, because I felt it was not proper, but Kaelen firmly refused, and said the servants would come and clear them out by morning as usual.
I could only give up, and nod at him.
He climbed into bed beside me and wrapped one arm around my waist, and rubbed my hair with the other hand.
I thought of all that had happened since I almost fell on the stairs, and it all felt like a dream I did not wish to wake up from.
I did not know what would happen tomorrow. I did not know if he would regret this when the sun rose, and I did not know if I would regret it.
But right now, in this moment, I knew that I was exactly where I wanted to be.
Soon we drifted off to sleep, still tangled together, and holding each other.
