"Alright, take it out and set up a remote detonation device!" Ling Feng said.

Zoran nodded and immediately went into the cabin to make arrangements.

Ling Feng looked at An Xue and continued, "Let Little Hei try it later, but for the detonation, I’ll have to trouble you."

"It’s fine, this is what I should do!" An Xue said.

Zoran and his men quickly put together a simple bomb, using fifty kilograms of high explosive.

It might not look like much, but it’s actually capable of shattering a steel plate about the size of that teleportation array.

After everything was arranged, Ling Feng brought Little Hei out from the Jade Pendant Space and explained the mission’s purpose to it.

Little Hei was originally a snake, but it can survive in water, so it immediately agreed.

Afterward, it took the bomb in its mouth and went underwater with An Xue.

Ling Feng, concerned about the explosion, also plunged into the water.

Underwater, he couldn’t see as clearly as An Xue, but fortunately, he had his divine sense, which allowed him to see a range of two to three kilometers despite being in the water.

Given the whirlpool center was only a few kilometers away, he was still able to see clearly.

At this moment, Little Hei was already burrowing into the rock layers at the sea bed, heading towards the target direction.

Ling Feng noticed An Xue was ahead of him by quite a bit, so he prepared to go and check it out. However, after swimming less than a hundred meters forward, he felt a huge suction force underwater.

He realized he wasn’t as capable in underwater situations compared to An Xue.

In the end, Ling Feng had to give up and remained where he was.

After a short wait, his divine sense detected the platform below began to bulge suddenly, and Little Hei emerged.

The elevation was roughly thirty meters or so. It first poked its head out to test the hydrological conditions here and, realizing the water currents below hadn’t turned much, began to reveal more of its body from beneath.

Soon, Little Hei spat out the high explosive bomb.

Once its body retreated back into the dug-out cavity, An Xue started the countdown and quickly pressed the initiation switch!

A mass of flames exploded under the sea.

The platform sucking in water was directly blasted askew, and countless cracks appeared on its surface!

Seeing this scene, Ling Feng breathed a sigh of relief, believing the seawater would no longer be drawn in.

But unexpectedly, although the platform cracked, golden lights suddenly began to shine through the crevices!

Golden lights flickered, and Ling Feng suddenly realized something was wrong!

An Xue also sensed the anomaly and quickly swam towards him.

After they converged, Little Hei ascended from the seabed.

Ling Feng sent it into the Jade Pendant Space and then, along with An Xue, they surfaced immediately.

Upon surfacing, Ling Feng wrapped his arm around An Xue’s waist, and they quickly returned to the boat.

"Set sail, leave this place immediately!"

Ling Feng shouted loudly.

Zoran didn’t know what had happened, but still promptly relayed the order.

The engine room crew immediately turned the ship and sailed away.

During their departure from this section of water, Zoran asked in confusion, "Master, what happened?"

"After that thing was blasted, golden lights suddenly flickered. I suspect there might be a chain reaction!"

Ling Feng said and continued, "You set sail and head to a distant location first. I need to go up and take a look."

After speaking, he summoned Little Jin and then leapt onto its back.

Taking flight, Ling Feng quickly reached above the whirlpool.

As he observed, the whirlpool was slowly ceasing, seemingly the seawater was no longer being sucked in.

However, when Ling Feng tried to scan with his divine sense, he discovered it was being interfered with!

The blockage against his divine sense was surprisingly the seawater.

Ling Feng was dumbfounded, eyes wide with confusion, not knowing what was happening.

As he was puzzling over this, Little Jin suddenly said, "Master, there’s a massive metallic object underwater that’s growing."

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng froze for a moment, then asked in confusion, "Metal can grow?"

"Yes, it’s expanding rapidly. Shortly, it should surface, and you’ll see it," Little Jin said.

Ling Feng acknowledged and then thought for a moment, "Ascend to a higher altitude, don’t stay here."

Little Jin quickly flapped its wings, rising more than a thousand meters high.

After a while, the water gradually calmed, but Ling Feng noticed something dark beneath rising.

Just a few minutes later, an enormous black object broke the surface, but the expansion did not stop; it continued.

Ling Feng watched as the object spread out, growing into the scale of an island!

The surface of the object was very rough, resembling reef-like islands, but it was black and gleamed with a metallic sheen.

Watching the thing grow larger, the diameter of the exposed part had already surpassed a kilometer, and it seemed it was still increasing.

Ling Feng wondered what on earth this thing was and how large it could become.

Curious, he asked, "Little Jin, is this thing entirely made of metal?"

"Yes, Master, but inside it’s hollow, with many biological entities," Little Jin said.

Ling Feng was stunned, then understood; this must be an invasion!

Whatever this metallic object was didn’t matter anymore, whether it’s a spaceship or some vessel, the entities inside are the main concern.

With this thought, he immediately soared upward, leaving Little Jin’s back and brought forth the Ling Yun ship.

Although the Ling Yun ship was enormous, compared to the black island below, it’s still a bit small.

Especially since the latter was still expanding.

Ling Feng didn’t care that much, as he only had the Ling Yun ship at hand, unable to deploy an ultra-large vessel, he could only rely on it for now.

After deploying the Ling Yun ship, Ling Feng ordered it to be on alert, ready for battle at any moment.

Then, Ling Feng quickly returned to catch up with Zoran steering the ship, instructing her to contact Lingyun Island immediately, requesting Moon Base to dispatch support vessels at once.

Once arrangements were made, Ling Feng returned near the Ling Yun ship.

This spaceship was the first he obtained, and Ling Feng hoped that nothing would happen to it. If the island’s biological entities proved formidable, he would immediately retract the ship and think of other ways to deal with those beings.

Prepared, Ling Feng hovered in the air, observing below as the gigantic object had grown to a behemoth over ten kilometers in diameter.

It could now be called an island.

But the biological entities Little Jin mentioned still hadn’t appeared.

Ling Feng wasn’t anxious and just hovered in mid-air, waiting patiently.
