Guests have arrived from an Extraterrestrial Planet, which is a groundbreaking first for the Li Dynasty, so Li Huang issued orders, and the entire Imperial Palace became busy.

Although Ling Feng was present to accompany Bruce and the others, in reality, his mind was elsewhere, filled with thoughts about that young bird.

But obviously, he couldn’t find an excuse to leave right now; that would be too impolite!

So Ling Feng could only muster patience and stay with Bruce, Abdo, and the other councilors.

At the reception banquet, Bruce said to Ling Feng, "Mr. Ling, the civilization on this planet isn’t where you originally come from, right?"

"That’s right, I came from another Parallel Universe!" Ling Feng replied.

Bruce nodded, then said, "I see, it’s obvious that the civilization level on this planet is not high, so it’s still in a relatively primitive stage of development."

He had already put it tactfully; in their star system, Earth, where the Li Dynasty is located, is considered an uncivilized place.

Ling Feng smiled, nodded, and said, "Yes, that’s why I’m working hard to change the situation here, aiming to elevate the level of civilization in ten years!"

"That long?"

Bruce was momentarily stunned, then realized that infrastructure could develop rapidly, but improving people’s quality takes time.

After thinking for a moment, Bruce said to Ling Feng, "I have an immature suggestion, I wonder if Mr. Ling would be willing to accept it."

"You’re too kind, Speaker. We’re all friends, feel free to speak your mind!" Ling Feng smiled and said.

"Alright."

Bruce pondered for a moment and then said, "My intention is to help the civilization on this planet grow as quickly as possible, nothing more. I plan to send a fleet of ships to assist Mr. Ling in the construction here!"

"Really?"

Ling Feng was secretly pleased, nodded, and said, "Of course, I won’t overthink it, and I must thank you all for your help!"

"You’re welcome."

Bruce chuckled, "Our team has extensive experience in infrastructure development. With the large machinery and personnel arriving, it will definitely help accelerate the construction process!"

"Indeed, this is great!" Ling Feng nodded.

Bruce originally intended to find an opportunity to give Ling Feng some assistance, and now that he had this chance, he felt reassured.

Both parties were very satisfied, and naturally, they reveled in the festivities afterwards.

After a grand banquet, Bruce and the others said goodbye and prepared to leave, with Ling Feng and Li Huang accompanying them all the way to the spaceship.

Watching the spaceship take off, Li Huang said to Ling Feng, "You really did it, kid! In no time at all, you’ve made contact with an extraterrestrial civilization!"

Ling Feng smiled and replied, "This wasn’t my original intention, it was just a coincidence!"

Having said that, he quickly changed the subject, "Father, I have some things to take care of, so I won’t keep you company any longer."

"Alright, go handle your business!"

Li Huang was very pleased, nodding as he spoke.

Ling Feng boarded a spaceship and, after considering his options, ultimately chose Australia as his destination.

Upon arriving at an iron mine in Australia, he saw numerous machines extracting ore, and the bustling activity of transport vehicles. Ling Feng chose a quieter spot on the other side of the mine to let Tian Lian out.

Then he brought out the young bird.

This creature, still covered in pale yellow down, quickly ran up to Ling Feng after being released, rubbing its big head against him like it was acting spoiled.

As a child, Ling Feng had raised ducklings and goslings, so seeing the young bird behave like this, he knew it had taken him for its mother.

Ducklings shortly after hatching behave the same way; they run to people and follow them around, or chirp and act spoiled, which is quite amusing.

Ling Feng gently patted the young bird’s head and laughed, "There’s lots of iron ore here, would you like to have some?"

Hearing this, the young bird finally raised its head to look around, chirped a bit, and made no move.

Clearly, it had no interest in the ore.

"Master, its food is pure metal, and it has no interest in unrefined ore," said Tian Lian.

"Alright then," Ling Feng thought, realizing he had come in vain, wishing he hadn’t bothered to visit Australia.

Nodding, he then said to the young bird, "Since you feed on metal, from now on, your name will be Little Jin."

Ling Feng’s naming was indeed rather casual—Little Hei, Little Fei, Little Chong—and now Little Jin.

Little Jin didn’t seem to mind, let out a couple of cheerful squawks, seemingly quite happy.

But it couldn’t speak yet; this would require refining later on.

However, there’s no hurry for that. Ling Feng looked at Little Jin and then asked, "What abilities do you have? Show me what you can do!"

As a result, Little Jin merely hopped on the ground, flapping its two fluffy little wings.

Ling Feng was left speechless.

At that moment, Tian Lian said, "Master, Little Jin hasn’t fully grown yet; it needs to consume a lot of metal to fly. Its ability is to traverse the cosmos and easily locate planetary mineral deposits!"

"Oh?"

Ling Feng’s eyes lit up upon hearing this, quickly saying, "That’s great news!"

"Yes, Little Jin isn’t very aggressive but has extremely useful abilities," said Tian Lian.

"Alright then, let’s head back to Lingyun Island to find some high-purity metal for it to eat!" Ling Feng said.

Tian Lian looked at him, smiled, and said, "Lingyun Island does have suitable food for it. Little Jin’s favorite metal is actually Gold!"

"Uh..."

Ling Feng was left speechless upon hearing this.

It sure knew how to choose, having a taste for precious metals?

The gold he had brought back from the City of Gold, who knows how much is left. If push comes to shove, he’ll have to source some more from the gold mines in South America!

Ling Feng quickly returned, then went through the Space-time Vortex to Lingyun Island.

Upon arriving, and hearing about Ling Feng’s needs, Gu Li was quite exasperated, then said to him, "Boss, our gold reserves are already low. The development costs have been immense lately, just the revenue from Ling Corporation isn’t enough, we’ve had to resort to using gold!"

"I understand."

Ling Feng nodded and said, "Regardless of whether it’s enough, let Little Jin have some first, then I’ll find a way to deal with it!"

"Alright!"

Gu Li didn’t object, and led Ling Feng to where gold was stored on the island.

The walls originally built with gold now had more than half of their interior hollowed out.

Seeing so much gold gone, Ling Feng felt a bit heartache.

But he had to put that aside for Little Jin’s growth.
