Seeing Bruce’s utterly stunned expression, Ling Feng chuckled. "Mr. Speaker, no need to be shocked here. If there’s something you want, just say it."

As soon as he said that, Bruce let out an awkward laugh, then said, "Mr. Ling really is sharp. You’ve already figured it out?"

"More or less. I’m guessing the Speaker has something he wants my help with, right?" Ling Feng asked.

"Yes."

Bruce didn’t hide anything. He nodded directly and continued, "I’d like to ask Mr. Ling for a favor."

"Go ahead."

Ling Feng nodded.

Bruce smiled. "Actually, this matter shouldn’t be difficult for Mr. Ling."

He paused, then went on, "The star system’s exploration team discovered a very unusual planet some time ago. It contains a type of ore we’re in great need of."

Ling Feng frowned slightly at that. "What’s wrong? You can’t extract that ore?"

Bruce nodded. "It’s a bit embarrassing to say. By rights, our level of civilization shouldn’t be stumped by anything like this. Yet in front of that mineral planet, we’re completely helpless."

Ling Feng made a small sound of understanding, then nodded. "All right, I get it now."

He then said, "But with this kind of thing, I can’t guarantee I’ll actually be able to help you."

"That’s all right."

Bruce smiled. "As long as Mr. Ling is willing to lend a hand, whether it works or not, our whole star system will be deeply grateful to you."

"No need to be so polite."

Ling Feng said, then stood up. "My time is limited. Let’s head over now and take a look. The sooner we deal with it, the sooner I can go home."

Even though Bruce hadn’t brought up any reward, Ling Feng still wanted to see it.

Because his curiosity had already been hooked.

Very soon, with Bruce taking the lead, several members of the Star System Council accompanied them, and everyone boarded a spaceship and set off into deep space together.

After a period of flight, a very special planet appeared ahead in the starry void. This planet’s brightness was extremely high, much more intense than the surrounding planets.

But clearly, it was a planet, not a star that generates its own energy.

Ling Feng also found it odd. That red glow could easily trick someone into thinking it was a star on the verge of decay.

Once the spaceship drew near, Ling Feng finally saw the planet’s true appearance.

Its radiance was being emitted by some kind of substance in the atmosphere, not by the planet itself.

It seemed to be some unknown chemical substance, some unknown chemical reaction was happening, and that was what produced the light.

As for the planet’s surface, it looked dull and gray, not special at all.

At that moment Bruce said to Ling Feng, "This is the place."

"Your ships can’t land?" Ling Feng asked.

"That’s right. As soon as we approach the atmosphere, strange sounds start coming from the ship, and the mechanical systems begin throwing bizarre error alarms. So we’ve never managed to land!" Bruce said.

Ling Feng made an acknowledging sound, then asked, "You’ve tried every possible method?"

"Yes. We’ve racked our brains and still can’t land!" Bruce said.

Ling Feng glanced at him and asked with a smile, "So that’s how it is. Looks like there really is something you desperately want on that planet, otherwise you wouldn’t be taking it this seriously."

At those words, a hint of embarrassment flashed across Bruce’s face, then he laughed and said, "To be honest with you, Mr. Ling, this planet holds a very precious mineral. With it, we can manufacture high-strength Alloy. If you’re interested, once we start mining, we can give you a share."

"Oh yeah?"

Ling Feng was intrigued, but he still smiled and said, "No need to give me a share. Once you produce Alloy, just give me a sample. I’ll test how strong it is."

"That’s fine too." Bruce nodded.

After that, Ling Feng decided to go check out the planet’s weirdness for himself. He asked for a Miniature Spaceship and took Xiangxue with him, flying toward the planet’s atmosphere.

As they were about to enter it, both he and Xiangxue felt a jolt in their hearts and exchanged a look.

"Such intense Xuan Qi!"

Ling Feng said.

"Yeah. How can there be such dense energy? This atmosphere is a treasure!" Xiangxue said.

Ling Feng’s eyes lit up. "I didn’t expect it to be Xuan Qi. This is a windfall. Only... how do we absorb it?"

Facing a mountain of treasure, yet not knowing how to harvest it, was a truly frustrating feeling.

At that moment, Xiangxue suggested, "Why don’t you try using the Chaos Sword? It contains so many worlds inside—maybe it can absorb this Xuan Qi."

"If that works, we could practically flood those worlds with a sea of Xuan Qi!"

Ling Feng said, and immediately took the Chaos Sword out from his Space Ring.

Then Ling Feng said, "Chaos, this planet’s atmosphere is saturated with incredibly dense Xuan Qi. See if you can transfer it all into the Xuanling Realm, Lingjian Mountain, and the Four Directions Nation."

"Master, this Xuan Qi has already been tempered into Qi Spirits. It truly is excellent material. Simply transferring it into the worlds inside me wouldn’t be the optimal way to handle it," the Chaos Sword said.

Ling Feng froze for a moment, then quickly asked, "So what’s the best way?"

"The best method is for me to directly absorb and refine it. That would greatly benefit me myself!" the Chaos Sword said.

"Oh? That’s even better, then!"

Ling Feng was overjoyed at that and nodded.

Then, without even opening the hatch, he simply released the Chaos Sword outside.

Back on the mothership, Bruce and the others were staring out the portholes, waiting to see what Ling Feng would do, unsure whether he could solve the problem.

Because of how badly they wanted the ore on that planet, Bruce was really hoping he could succeed.

Under everyone’s gaze, they saw a long, narrow object appear outside Ling Feng’s ship. When they zoomed in, they realized it was the Chaos Sword.

Then they suddenly saw the Chaos Sword swell in an instant, growing straight to a length of several dozen kilometers!

But its blade was in a semi-transparent state.

"Speaker, the last time we had a run-in with Mr. Ling, he used the Chaos Sword in exactly this way!" Abdo said from the side.

Bruce was already dumbstruck. Mainly, the Chaos Sword’s current form was just too astonishing.

Right after that, an even more incredible scene unfolded.

The planet’s atmosphere actually began to form a giant vortex, and then was gradually sucked into the sword’s body!

Bruce and the others all stared, eyes wide.

It’s not that they’d never thought of this approach before—but draining an entire planet’s atmosphere was something their technology simply couldn’t do.

Yet Ling Feng was doing it now.

Watching the enormous Chaos Sword turn into a gigantic vacuum cleaner, sucking up the planet’s atmosphere, everyone was completely dumbfounded.

"How can this guy be so powerful?" Bruce exclaimed.
