Treasure chest?

This was a pleasant surprise; Lu Li didn’t expect to get anything from the Troll Elder.

A gaming master from the past once said, "The environment will return the favor based on how you treat it; this also applied to games. If you played the game seriously, the game would also give you a good reward in return."

That’s why he interacted with the Troll Elder in a serious way. He was playing the game as if this was a real world.

If this was actually a real-world situation, there was no way you wouldn’t say a thing to the victim before you left.

"I’ll come back as soon as possible. Don’t give up hope," Lu Li said with more passion this time. He had to return the favor.

"I’m not sure how long I can survive for," the Revantusk Troll Elder sighed with a bitter expression. "There are only fifteen days until they worship Hakkar. If you can’t make it before then, you’ll probably be seeing my corpse after."

Fifteen days!

Lu Li thought for a bit and confirmed, "That’s enough time. Wait for my good news."

The elite teams of Ruling Sword consisted of players with an average level of 35 or 36. After fifteen days, they would be around level 40. With the guide from his previous life, Lu Li was confident that they would be able to take down the Evil Priestess Hexx.

The Troll Elder was in tears as he watched Lu Li take his leave.

Their interaction wasn’t solely based on chance. Any player that stepped onto the altar and ran into the NPC first would have a chance of hearing about the treasure chest. Lu Li was the first player that the Troll Elder had encountered.

After Lu Li returned to Eagle’s Nest, he handed over the Zul’Farrak Hammer to his team members and sent the others to interact with Gahz’rilla.

Lu Li flew towards the little mountain that the Troll Elder had described. Although there weren’t any specific names or coordinates given, the Troll Elder had provided him with a very obvious clue — Moonkin.

In the Hinterlands, there was only one location where the Moonkin refreshed. This was to the north of Jintha’Alor, near Shaol’watha.

The Shaol’watha village was a hotspot that the Horde and Alliance factions fought for. The Wildhammer Dwarves and the Revantusk Trolls wanted to take the control of this location. The former relied on their air advantage of the Gryphons, even successfully building their own frontline for supply and resting purposes.

However, having an advantage didn’t mean that they would win. The Revantusk Troll relied on their cunning minds and their witchcraft to hold their fort.

Lu Li didn’t concern himself with the war in the area; he wasn’t at an appropriate level to participate in it.

He circled around the war zone and successfully arrived at the refresh location of the Moonkin.

There were two types of Moonkin – the ones transformed by Druids and the ones in the wild. Moonkin transformed by players looked cute when they danced with their fat bellies and they were popular among female players. Many players didn’t want to hurt them in the battlegrounds.

The Moonkin in the wild were very vicious; it was hard to link them to the term ‘cute’. They were mostly around level 40, while the elites among them were as high as level 45. Lu Li couldn’t fight against them, so he had to be secretive in his search for the cave.

The habitat of the Moonkin was very limited due to the war between the Wildhammer Dwarves and the Trolls. Since their habitat was small, it wasn’t hard to find the cave.

Lu Li found the cave on a little mountain that was covered in golden-colored moss.

The cave was discreet and blocked by a big stone. It seemed like the Moonkin hadn’t noticed this place yet.

Lu Li removed the stone and a rotting stench nearly sent him crying, but he was eager to see what the Troll Elder had left behind for him. Taking in a deep breath and holding it, he gingerly entered the cave.

The ground was littered with rotting body parts. Lu Li suspected that the Troll Elder killed Moonkin and ate them here.

It wasn’t hard to imagine a Troll who enjoyed feasting on Moonkin.

Lu Li now had more faith and expectation for the treasure chest that might be in this cave.

The cave was deep and the interior was way more complex than it appeared from the outside. There were often intersections and Lu Li felt like he was walking through a maze. There was definitely some sort of secret within this cave – there was no way that the game designers would design this kind of geography without some sort of purpose.

Fortunately, the Troll Elder had left behind marks from the Revantusk tribe on the walls which led Lu Li to the treasure chest.

Golden chest!

There were no obvious threats nearby.

Everything was too perfect that it all seemed unreal. Lu Li almost had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

A Golden chest was the best chest that he had seen so far. The chest would at least give him Gold grade equipment or Dark Gold equipment if he was lucky.

It was a pleasant surprise for him to obtain a reward equivalent to defeating a Boss with a few simple sentences.

Lu Li approached the chest and began to unlock it.

Meanwhile, in the chat room, Azure Sea Breeze and the others had already used the Zul’Farrak Hammer to summon Gahz’rilla and had completed their first interaction with it. It was okay to fight it without Lu Li – they had their main tank, healer and damage source, while Wandering covered for the commanding position.

Wandering had already directed battles countless times.

Dungeons were refreshed weekly in Dawn, so it was a waste to give up on those that existed.

However, Lu Li had too many things that he needed to do, so it was impossible for him to re-do the dungeons that he had already cleared on a weekly basis. As such, Wandering was the one who led Xin Xin Mercenary Group to clear them once they had been refreshed. From this, they had managed to obtain some decent equipment.

Although Wandering was usually slack, he was smart and had a great mentality. Directing a dungeon that has already been cleared was a piece of cake for him.

Unfortunately, when he directed the fight with Gahz’rilla this time, they were easily defeated.

Gahz’rilla’s most common skill was Icicle which froze the target and continued to deal damage to them. Frozen targets were unable to be targeted or healed by healers, and the ice was broken, they would also receive a huge amount of damage from it.

This put a lot of pressure on the healers, who had to ensure that all team members had more than one-third of their health in Elite mode. In Nightmare mode, team members had to kept above 50-60% of their HP. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to survive long enough for the ice to defrost.

Of course, the Icicle was a spell and could be debuffed. If the team was coordinated enough, they could assign someone to this role.

Azure Sea Breeze and the others had spent a lot of time with each other doing dungeons, so they were well-coordinated. March Rain wasn’t the only player with debuff skills either, so countering the Icicle wasn’t too hard for them.

However, Gahz’rilla had another skill that blew people right into the air.

This was how Azure Sea Breeze and the others had been wiped, so they began to ask for the assistance of Lu Li.

Lu Li happened to be unlocking the chest at that very moment, so he paid no attention to them. He only replied by telling them to look around the geography and come up with a solution based on it.

Nine, eight, seven... chest opened!
