The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Chapter 2015 - Selection Competition (5)

Chapter 2015: Selection Competition (5)

Shen Yanxiao imperceptibly led a group of innocent and pure teenagers into the dark and cunning road of no return.

“Calm down, there will be plenty of opportunities later.” Zhanye appeasingly said.

Shile looked at Zhanye curiously and asked, “Have you noticed?”

“What?” “Your manner of speaking is becoming more and more like that of the

Boss.”

“…”

“But…”

“But what?”

“Boss is still more shameless than you.” Shile couldn’t help imagining… if it were Yan Di, he reckoned that she would say at this moment: Is there a need to compete with a group of disabled people? Being brainless was also a disability. The corners of Zhanye’s mouth slightly twitched. Just as Zhanye and Shile lamented their increasingly black-bellied and cunning selves, a noise came from outside the inn. On the spacious street, eight skeletal horses in dark gold armour opened up the road.

On each skeletal horse sat an undead soldier wearing dark gold light armour, armed with a black iron sword. Behind the skeletal horses, eighteen strong intermediate undead came slowly carrying a lavish sedan chair, and two groups of undead soldiers marched on each side, driving away the layers upon layers of crowd surrounding the sedan chair.

The crowd of undead consciously retreated to both sides in an instant and made way for the procession to pass through.

At the front of the sedan chair hung a black skull ag uttering in the wind, and the dark golden  edge of the ag made all the undead stare in awe.

A vast team arrived at the inn where the Royal Academy was staying. Eight undead guards dismounted the skeletal horses with nimble movements and walked over to the front of the sedan chair.

At the entrance to the inn, the Royal Academy students were already standing in two rows, one on each side of the entrance. In the middle stood Nock, dressed in magnicent clothes and encompassed by a calm air.

A gure suddenly came out of the sedan chair: a handsome young man clad in a splendid dark golden robe appeared trippingly, arousing gasps of exclamation.

The teenager raised his head and the undead around him knelt down at this moment. Everybody then shouted in chorus, “Your Highness Prince Mingye!”

There was no superuous expression on the handsome face of Mingye. He was stingy to spare these people a glance even from the corner of his eyes. Under the protection of the undead guards, he calmly walked over to the front of Nock.

“Your Highness Prince Mingye.” Nock bent slightly and greeted.

“Mentor Nock, there’s no need to follow rules too much.” Mingye lightly opened his mouth and spoke.

“Your Highness, this way please.” Nock said with an inviting gesture. Mingye nodded, and as Nock entered the inn with others, the undead who knelt at the sidelines stood up, looking at the back of the Royal Academy students, full of envy. Having such a close relationship with His Highness, their future was bound to be good. While everyone was feeling envious, on the second oor of the inn, Shen Yanxiao, who had just calmed down from the upcoming reunion, slowly pushed open the door of her room only to see the approaching Nock and Mingye.

Shen Yanxiao was slightly stunned. Since she arrived at the Howling Abyss, she had never had any contact with this “spring roll prince”. She did not expect that she would actually meet him here

today. Mingye, who was originally talking to Nock, looked as if he had felt something and raised his head slightly towards the tiny gure standing not far away.

A touch of familiarity suddenly poured into Mingye’s soul, a slight crack suddenly appeared on his cold face, and an eagerness that he himself didn’t notice emerged in gray eyes. Nock noticed that Mingye suddenly stopped talking and looked ahead. He then found that Mingye was staring at the undead girl named Yan Di.

“Your Highness?” Nock said in a small voice.
