Hazard was also facing away from the direction of attack. He immediately knocked the ball back to Wang Shuo, forming a one-two passing combination. Tottenham center-back Caboul quickly rushed out, but he didn't lose his cool, keeping manager Redknapp's instructions firmly in mind. In the area just outside the penalty box, he needed to minimize fouls and deny Wang Shuo any chance for a direct free kick! Therefore, his goal was simply to block him.

But right after receiving Hazard's backpass, Wang Shuo didn't wait for Caboul to close in. After adjusting his footing with a series of quick, small steps, he suddenly played a lateral pass to De Bruyne, who was catching up through the middle. The young Belgium talent quickly played a diagonal pass behind the defense, while Wang Shuo sprinted past Caboul at top speed.

Ledley King couldn't care less about his defensive position at this point and lunged toward De Bruyne's pass, but Wang Shuo was one step faster. De Bruyne's pass went from the center toward the left side of the penalty area, and Ledley King was also running from the center toward the left side. Wang Shuo, however, used the inside of his left foot to cushion the ball directly in the opposite direction of Ledley King's momentum.

In the split second they brushed past each other, Wang Shuo could clearly see the helplessness, astonishment, and shock in the Tottenham center-back's eyes. But he had no time to dwell on that. Launching himself forward like a coiled spring, Wang Shuo quickly caught up to the ball and unleashed a furious strike with his right foot.

The football drilled into the Tottenham Hotspur goal at blistering speed.

3-3!

Was that it?

No!

Wang Shuo had fully hit his stride!

Just four minutes later, a through ball came from Aaron Ramsey. With his back to the attack, Wang Shuo stretched out his left foot and slid on the ground as the ball arrived, directly scooping it up high and over Ledley King. He swiftly spun around and chased after it. As the ball came down, he used his right thigh to cushion it toward the penalty box.

Left-back Ekotto and center-back Caboul lunged at Wang Shuo simultaneously. But Wang Shuo surged forward with a giant stride and fired off another ferocious shot. This time, he didn't aim for the near post; instead, he targeted the far corner. The football struck the inside of the left goalpost and ricocheted into the Tottenham Hotspur net.

Almost at the exact same moment, the fourth official on the sidelines happened to raise the board indicating two minutes of stoppage time.

4-3!

"Crazy! Another hat-trick! Wang Shuo has gone completely insane on the pitch!

"Arsenal's performance this season has also been extremely surprising. In their last three away games, the Gunners have conceded more than three goals each time. But relying solely on his astonishing goal-scoring ability, Wang Shuo has single-handedly dragged Arsenal along!

"The Gunners have completed yet another comeback! Compared to their smooth-sailing home matches, the Gunners' away games can truly be described as disastrous! But thank goodness they still have Wang Shuo!" the commentator shouted.

While the fans at White Hart Lane Stadium were reeling in shock over Arsenal's comeback and Wang Shuo's goal, Gareth Bale wore a look of total disbelief. He considered his own stamina to be outstanding. Yet, after playing for ninety minutes, his all-out sprint to shake off Lichsteiner just now had drained him immensely, leaving him barely able to run. But Wang Shuo had launched two consecutive attacks, and scored on both of them!

He marveled, "He really deserves to be named alongside Ronaldo and Messi!"

His eyes revealed admiration and envy as he looked at Wang Shuo. He and Walcott were close friends, and he had heard plenty about Wang Shuo from him. Gareth Bale had long admired this man, who was considered the number one forward in the world!

He resolved, "Later, when the match is over, I have to find him to swap jerseys as a memento!"

But Gareth Bale clearly didn't know that not far from him, the Croatia midfielder Modric was also staring at the celebrating Wang Shuo with the same look of shock. As the core of Tottenham Hotspur's midfield, Modric felt this more intensely than anyone else.

Although Arsenal had secured more ball possession in this match, the tempo of the game had actually been under Tottenham Hotspur's control the entire time. Modric was the key figure orchestrating that tempo. However, whenever Wang Shuo tracked back to support the midfield, he would immediately ignite the Gunners' rhythm.

More importantly, Wang Shuo's passing and ability to link up play were simply too formidable. Just like that third goal earlier. Modric was thoroughly convinced that outside of Wang Shuo, not a single other player in the entire Premier League could have pulled that off. Not only did it require excellent footwork, blinding speed, and outstanding explosiveness, but most crucially, the player had to have the vision to see that passing lane! And they also had to be able to seamlessly connect the surrounding teammates.

At the thought of this, Modric genuinely felt a chill run down his spine!

To have Wang Shuo as an enemy was just too terrifying! So much so that when Mike Dean blew the final whistle to end the match—even though Tottenham Hotspur had lost the match 3-4—Modric found himself involuntarily breathing a sigh of relief.
