In the real world, Loki had stopped worrying about the dragons and had busied himself with eating moldy jerky with a side of precious saliva. Of course, there was no jerky. Everything he was experiencing was in his mind.

This was all because he had been caught off guard by the attack. He hadn’t expected an attack like this, and the attack had been powerful enough to catch him off guard.

The power of the attack was 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Mind) + 8(Soul) + 8(Mind) + 8(Will) +8(Insight)) × (8 × 4)Divine Metacs × 1,406 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which is 125,179,520 units of divine power.

Just earlier in the day, the full power of the dragon king had been 201,564,160 units of divine power. So the power of this attack wasn’t at the peak of what the dragon king was capable of. This was because of the insufficient control of the Water Senses Metac.

The Water Senses Metac and the dragon king haven’t had enough time to learn how to combine it with the other Divine Metacs. Right now, the dragon king can only combine it with three other Divine Metacs, which is why its power output is so low.

On the hand, Loki’s current power was 6(Cultivation Rank) × (6(Body) + 6(Mind) + 6(Soul) + 6(Mind) + 6(Will)) × (6 × 4)Divine Metacs × 2,916 million(Cave Heaven) × 9(Law Fragment), which is 90,699,264 units of divine power.

This kind of power is even less than the power of the dragon king’s attack. So even if he had the Nanite Metac active, which he didn’t, he would still have fallen into the illusion.

He wasn’t the only one who was caught in an illusion. Nether Flame and Blood Sword had also forgotten who they were and what they had come here to do.

Only Money Body could resist the attack somewhat. This was because his power was 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Body) + 8(Mind) + 8(Soul) + 8(Mind) + 8(Will)) × (8 × 3)Divine Metacs × 2,843 million(Cave Heaven) × 10(Law Fragment), which is 174,673,920 units of divine power.

The inadequate power of the attack meant the dragon king couldn’t subdue Money Body with it. But the dragon king didn’t care. The dragon king’s main goal with this attack was to ensnare the three other invaders and make it easy for the other dragons to kill them.

So the dragon king went to engage with Money Body while its seven dragon underlings went to deal with Loki and the other two. By the looks of things, the invaders were going to be defeated.

When Money Body saw what had become of his allies, he snorted and said, "Fine. I guess I will have to do this myself."

Then he unleashed all of his power and became a large golden star in the ocean. Everywhere he shone his light on, the water became golden, and everything froze.

He didn’t hold back in his attack whatsoever. Just like the dragon king had attacked all the invaders at the same time, he was attacking all of the dragons at the same time, too.

The problem with what he was doing was that the dragon king was able to target only the invaders while his golden light didn’t discriminate between allies and foes. But Money Body didn’t seem to care.

To be fair, he needed his golden light to shine everywhere so that he could fight the dragon king while also attacking the other dragons. But logic aside, he was secretly hoping that his allies would die.

There was one ally in particular that he was hoping would accidentally die in the upcoming fight. So he didn’t bother to control the range of the golden light towards only the dragon king.

As it is, both the dragons and Money Body were hoping that Loki, Nether Flame, and Blood Sword would die. Unfortunately for them, it would take more than this to kill Loki.

Loki was losing himself to the illusion, but he was also resisting instinctively. Since he had four Divine Metacs activated, his instinctive resistance went looking for these four Divine Metacs for a solution to his current predicament.

The four Divine Metacs had only been activated to mobilize his Stats. Their special effect hadn’t been utilized yet because they required him to spend divine merit points. But now that his mind was being clouded with an illusion, he couldn’t be bothered to hold back.

Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of this attack was that it tampered with Loki’s perception and made him become lost in his memories, so it was difficult for Loki to find a solution outside of the Divine Metacs that he was already using. This was because his other Divine Metacs didn’t exist in his cognition for the moment.

So his Life Fire began activating the special effect of the Divine Metacs. The first one that was used was the Wealth Status Metac.

The Wealth Status Metac is a Divine Metac that will first assess the wealth of two parties. After doing that, it would cripple the power of the poorer party or empower the power of the richer party. It all depends on which is most feasible.

After a second of suffering under the mental attack, the effect of the Wealth Status took effect. The Wealth Status Metac judged the dragon king to be the poorer party. This was because the dragon king only had eight Divine Metacs at his disposal and a world with a size of 1,406 million square kilometers.

On the other side, Loki had 52 Divine Metacs and a world with a size of 2,916 million square kilometers. There were other factors that influenced this judgement, such as the amount of lifespan in their possession and the number of subordinates under their control.

The dragon king was also suppressed in these two aspects because Loki had over 2.7 million years of his lifespan left and had over 900 rank 6 ant drones, while the dragon king only had 31,000 years worth of lifespan and 7 dragon subordinates.
