The sense of urgency made him want to speed up so that he could reach his destination faster. So he used the Power Shifting Ability to use Metacs like the Splitting Edge Metac, which should only be used for attacks to increase his speed, like the Vengeful Bones Metac.

His speed surged by 400% thanks to this. This came at the cost of a higher consumption of his lifespan, but he thought it was worth it.

When he reached the world, he heard the voice warning him.

The voice said, “Go away. You’re not welcome here.”

When he heard the voice of the world king warning him, he clicked his tongue and said in admiration, “Truly worthy of a world king. It is always on watch for threats to the world.”

“Other world kings wouldn’t notice anything until the crystal shield is attacked, but it noticed me as soon as I came close. I wonder how it was able to do this.”

As he spoke, he was already breaching the crystal shield. He used the devouring force field to cover a part of the crystal shield and break it down.

While he was doing this, something shot out of the small world and struck his chest. Unfortunately, what the projectile struck was his afterimage.

He had been expecting the attack because the same thing had happened in the last timeline. He had been caught off guard by the attack in the previous timeline. But he had learned his lesson and was ready.

Not only did he dodge the attack, but he also managed to grab the projectile that nearly hit him. His hand had grabbed the tongue and was holding it tightly despite the intense force trying to pull it from him.

He smiled as he gripped the tongue and said, “I’m going to enjoy this.”

Then he resumed covering the crystal shield with his Devouring Ability. He did this by placing his left hand on the crystal shield and letting the black blanket spread out from his hand. His other hand was holding the tongue tightly.

This time, there was no attack to interrupt him. He was able to break the crystal shield and enter the world. Then he began pulling the world king to himself through the tongue.

The world king was determined not to let him use its tongue against it, so it cut off its tongue. It preferred to heal the injury of a severed tongue than to let Loki lay his hands on it so easily.

After freeing itself, the chameleon went into hiding. Then it began to sneak about, waiting for another opportunity for a sneak attack.

Unfortunately for it, Loki already knew all its moves. He knew what the chameleon was capable of and how to deal with it, so the fight was shorter than the one they had in the previous timeline.

The world king didn’t know, but the outcome was determined right from the start of the fight. The only variable in the fight was how long Loki was going to defeat the world king and take what he wanted.

The answer turned out to be 1 minute and 42 seconds. After nearly two minutes of fighting, the world gave up on the world king for fear of being drained dry of its lifespan by Loki.

Without the support of the world, the world king died, and Loki was able to extract his symbol of authority. Then he combined the symbol of authority with the mutated Craftsman’s Hammer.

The outcome of the fusion was a white hammer. The hammer can now shrink or expand in size. But this is not its most important ability.

As he swung the hammer in his hand, he nodded in satisfaction and said, “So it is the Soul Hammer. I like it.”

Then he put the hammer away and said to the world, “It is time to go.”

After speaking, he began breaking into the core of the world.

He would have loved to try out the Soul Hammer and see the full extent of what it was capable of. But time was running out, so he needed to rush to create his Divine Position.

The will of the world tried to stop him from reaching the core. But this was an endeavor that was bound to fail. After all, the world was at its strongest when there was a world king to protect it.

Without a world king, the will of the world can only use the power of the world to suppress him. This is like how divine beings use the power of their Cave Heavens to suppress enemies.

Since his Cave Heaven is already bigger than this world, there is no way the world can suppress him even if he didn’t use any Divine Metac to resist. Now that he was using a Divine Metac, the will of the world would fail in stopping him even faster.

In just a second, he broke into the core of the world. One second later, he grabbed the heart of the world and ripped it out of the core of the world.

His actions hollowed the world and caused it to lose its greatest support. The world became fragile and even began falling apart in some places.

The situation got worse for the world when Loki began devouring the world.

A world that should have lasted for a thousand years or more on the brink of collapse, didn’t last ten seconds under his fervent ministrations. It caved in rapidly. Then it collapsed as it was swept away by a large blanket of darkness.

After eleven seconds, the world and everyone in it were gone. He had devoured everything. So he took a look at his new attributes with the Power Identification Ability to see what he had gained.
