After complaining and cursing, he calmed down and said, “To be honest, I admire and respect that Money Body. His plans surely managed to fool us.”

“If I were him, I would do the exact same thing. I would use my advantage in my perception to feed my partners false information that will lure them into sacrificing themselves for the greater good of the mission.”

“I will have to do it because that dragon king is too strong. From what I can tell, the dragon king is stronger than Money Body. Unless Money Body is hiding some secret power, it is unlikely that he will be able to defeat that dragon king.”

Then he shook his head and said in awe, “It is truly unbelievable that Money Body is weaker than the dragon king and by such a large margin. It is truly worthy of being a dragon king.”

“It is already extraordinary that Money Body will be that strong. After all, normal rank 8 cultivators aren’t that strong. But the dragon king is still stronger than him.”

“It makes me realize again how impressive it was for humans to defeat the dragons and wrestle control of the Blessed Heaven World from them. I very much doubt that the normal races in Oceania would be able to pull off something like that and become the overlords of Oceania instead of the dragons.”

He marveled at the power of the dragon king for a while longer. Unfortunately, he didn’t have much time to do this as he had to plan for his future and decide where to come out of the River of Time.

After thinking about his situation and what he needed, he said, “I still need divine merit points if I want to advance to rank 7. Therefore, I still need to go on a sect mission.”

“There are many other kinds of missions that are easier. But nothing is as fast as the outpost mission. I only need a maximum of six months to complete the mission, and I will earn at least 500 divine merit points.”

“If I kill rank 6 enemies like those dragons, I will be able to earn more. And if I do more to contribute towards the success of the mission, I will earn a tidy bonus.”

“Plus, there is also the fact that I already know a lot about Oceania. I know the mistakes not to make, and I know the dangerous allies and enemies to watch out for. With the information I have, I can increase the chances of success of the mission.”

“If I start a different mission, I will have to learn new information about the mission all over again. That will make what I know about Oceania go to waste, which will lead to a waste of time for going to Oceania and make me spend a longer time in another kind of mission that will take years to complete.”

Now that he had complained about the cons and listed the pros of the outpost mission, he sighed and said, “So I have to sign up for the Oceania mission again. But I have to do things differently.”

He nodded in satisfaction as he said, “What I should do is start on a clean slate. I should create a new Divine Position that doesn’t have any entanglements. After that, I should raise my strength before going to Oceania.”

“Since I can’t raise my strength beyond a certain level in rank 6. What I will need to do is increase the size of my Cave Heaven as much as possible before going to Oceania. For that, I will need to find a way to locate worlds in the void.”

He had his mind made up about this, so he didn’t let the Rewind Metac stop early. He let it take him to the moment he became a divine being in the past.

During the trip, he continued to think about his plan and refine it. His mind raced with various things to do as he fine-tuned the plans he had in mind. This was what he was doing until he arrived at his destination and jumped out of the River of Time into the physical world.

When he opened his eyes, he saw that he was in the awakening room. He also saw that everyone around him had fainted.

After looking around, his gaze settled on his body. Thanks to the Insight Stat, he saw that his body had become taller, but his teeth had grown longer, and that golden fur had grown all over his body.

His fur was golden, but his teeth were black, though. In fact, his entire mouth, including his tongue, was black. But there was a golden horn on his forehead, and his eyes were golden hexagonal.

He also saw the black snake he now had for a tail attached to his butt. This snake was swinging around and tasting the air for prey.

This made him nod in satisfaction. Then he activated the Nanite Metac to change his appearance.

The Nanite Metac took six years of his lifespan to change his appearance. But his eyes remained bright, and a golden flame continued to burn silently above his head.

After doing this, he activated the Power Identification Ability.
