THE GOD EATER

Chapter 551: A Big Net.

The rank 7 enslavement cultivator also joined in by saying, “Come on now. You should know that independent cultivators can’t be of much help in this situation.”

Finally, the rank 7 money cultivator said, “Stop wasting time. Time is money. Make up your mind quickly because we have places to be and more important things to do with our time.”

The other rank 7 among the two alliances of losers, a seer, said, “I guess we can only fight and see how well we do.”

But the rank 7 enslavement cultivator snorted before saying, “Fight if you want. Just know that stalling for time won’t work because the sword cultivators are currently too busy to come and help you.”

The rank 7 forger also said, “We, on the other hand, can still call two more alliances from our sect to come and help us. When that happens, what do you plan to use to hold on?”

The rank 7 seer thought about the question for a while. Then he shook his head and said, “It seems we are not fated to have one of these three continents. But I have a better idea.”

Then the rank 7 giant stepped up and expressed what the rank 7 seer was about to say by grinning evilly and saying, “How about we create more continents so that everyone can have a share of nice things.’

Without missing a heartbeat, the rank 7 money cultivator smiled and said in agreement, “It seems we are of one mind. It truly is nice doing business with smart people.”

As he said this, the alliance of mind hunters and the alliance of death cultivators descended on the other side of the independent divine beings.

Loki thought that they had gone, so he was surprised to see them here again so soon. Just as he was wondering what they were here for, he saw the two new alliances attack the independent divine beings.

This turn of events took him by surprise. But the alliance of giants and seers was not surprised by it at all. These two alliances immediately moved into action to attack the independent divine beings from the other side.

The action of the four alliances of death cultivators, mind hunters, giants, and seers took the independent cultivators by surprise and cornered them.

Loki couldn’t understand how things had reached this point, so he turned to his temporary allies to see if they could make heads or tails of what was going on. But what he saw was that the two alliances of forgers and enslavement cultivators were also attacking independent divine beings.

One peculiar thing that he noticed was that each alliance only targeted a single independent cultivator. There was no waste of time in their action in determining who they would target, so it became clear that the members of each alliance had had a discussion to decide who to attack before they attacked.

As for the alliance of money cultivators, they were the only ones currently not attacking anyone. But that was only because they had surrounded Loki and put him right in the middle.

Just like the other six alliances, there was no talking among them before they surrounded him. He was still reeling with shock at the turn of events, while they had slowly been surrounding him even before the fighting began.

At that time, he thought their position was random. He had also been preoccupied with examining everyone around him with the Power Identification Ability to notice that he was slowly being surrounded.

The final nail in the coffin appeared when the five money cultivators summoned their Cave Heavens. There were five of them, but they summoned just one Cave Heaven.

The shadow of the Cave Heaven was a massive behemoth. The only time he ever saw something similar was when he saw Slav’s Cave Heaven.

The shadow of the Cave Heaven appeared above all of them and blocked entry or exit through the barriers of the extradimensions through this area.

Once this was done, the rank 7 smiled and said to him, “You can’t escape. But you’re welcome to try.”

His voice was full of confidence when he said that. He was confident because he didn’t think Loki could ever escape from their blockade.

Loki also gave the option to escape a good mental review. He looked around and assessed his situation and his chances of escaping. What he realized was that there were two ways for him to escape.

The first way to escape was to physically escape from the blockade around him. As long as he broke through their encirclement and left the range of their Cave Heaven, he would be able to escape.

The second option was to use brute force to open the barrier into the third dimension. He can do that by summoning the power of his Cave Heaven and using it to clash with theirs.

If his Cave Heaven can overpower their Cave Heaven, he would be able to escape. But one look at their massive Cave Heaven made him drop the idea of using brute force.

When he visualized what would happen if his Cave Heaven smashed into their Cave Heaven, what he saw made him wince mentally. He decided then that since he couldn’t bear to imagine it, he had to do everything not to make it a reality.

As for the first option of fighting his way to freedom, this option was also hopeless. This was because he was hopelessly outnumbered and hopelessly outmatched individually.

Since each one of them was at least ten times more powerful than the Sword Storm he just fought, he had to drop the idea that he could fight five of them with one of them being a rank 7 divine being.

Now that everything turned out like this, Loki realized what was going on. So he sighed and said, “Let me guess. You have been planning this for a while. Either I surrender, or you will kill me.”
