However, fate worked in mysterious ways, so someone did find Loki. Someone discovered the source of the trail of emptiness, and it was entirely due to luck, not because of an active investigation. In fact, they had only stumbled onto Loki by luck.

He was mowing down a patch of the forest when someone suddenly appeared in the sky above him. His supernatural perception had been suppressed by the lack of a Cave Heaven, so he didn’t notice that someone was nearby, even though they were less than 50 meters from his position.

The person who appeared also didn’t see him. They only saw a large black spherical object moving through the forest and clearing everything it encountered along the way.

So this person thought that Loki was a spirit creature. And since the black spherical object didn’t have any law fragment that they were familiar with, they were sure that it wasn’t a spirit creature of their pathway.

Since the black spherical object was determined not to be a spirit creature on their pathway, that person also came to the conclusion that it was prudent not to touch the black spherical object.

They were going to avoid making any sort of contact with the black spirit creature so as not to suffer a clash of law fragments and be injured. However, they were still curious about the black spherical object and were not willing to give up on it just yet.

After thinking about the problem for a few seconds, the person came up with a solution that would help them gain information about the black spirit creature without touching it. This plan should work, but there is a slight risk of danger.

So before going through with the plan, the person said to themselves, ’I hope it is not a violent divine spirit.’

A normal spirit creature would ignore them for what they are about to do. But a divine spirit creature is sentient and might take offense.

They knew this was a possibility, but they still went through with the plan. They were just too curious about this unfamiliar and previously unseen black spirit creature.

As they spoke, they summoned a spirit creature from their Cave Heaven. They didn’t summon a living thing or a natural object from the first dimension for fear of attracting everything around them.

They only summoned a spirit creature, as that would limit any attraction from other spirit creatures. The spirit creature they chose was a butterfly. It was a black butterfly made completely out of some black metallic material.

This black metallic butterfly appeared beside the divine being. The divine being grabbed it by the wings to prevent it from flying away. Then they waited with the butterfly in hand.

The divine being waited for a few seconds. When they saw that the black spirit creature wasn’t attracted to the spirit creature that they had in their hand, they sighed in relief. Then they threw the butterfly at the black spirit creature.

The divine being threw the black butterfly like one would throw a stone. Then they stood there on the ground and waited to watch the result.

They saw the butterfly smash into the black moving sphere. After that happened, they saw the butterfly sink into the black sphere.

The black butterfly sank into the black spirit creature and slowly disappeared as if the black spirit creature were a swamp and the butterfly was a piece of heavy stone.

This made the divine being think to themselves excitedly, ’Fascinating. Just fascinating.’

’Did the butterfly fuse with the black spirit creature, or was it annihilated by the spirit creature? Will this kind of reaction happen to other kinds of law fragments, or is this specific to the butterfly?’

They had so many questions that they wanted answers and were willing to try more experiments to test their hypothesis. The first idea they had was to take out a different spirit creature to throw at the black spherical spirit.

They were about to execute this new idea and summon a new spirit creature from their Cave Heaven when they noticed the black sphere ripple. This caught the attention of the divine being, so they stopped what they were doing to see what was about to happen.

The divine being watched with wide eyes as something jumped out of the black spirit creature and rushed at them. Just as this happened, the black spherical spirit creature deflated and disappeared.

All of these happened too quickly and took the divine being by surprise. They could only instinctively resist.

The divine being didn’t even see what was rushing at them clearly before they had their sword out and were swinging at the enemy. This was the right move to make because the enemy was soon upon them, and a clash ensued.

The sword that the divine being swung was the Sword Storm Metac of the Sword Pathway. When the divine being swung it, many phantom swords appeared and smashed down on the enemy.

There was only one sword, but it was as if a multitude of swords were striking at the enemy. To the enemy facing this attack head-on, the experience would be one of clashing with a storm of swords striking them.

Usually, any enemy caught up in this sword storm would be torn apart into shreds by the storm of blades. Even the ones who manage to survive the storm of blades would be in a sorry state.

So it was not a surprise to the sword cultivator that the enemy was sent flying just as fast as they came and were made to smash into the ground.

If there was any surprising development, it was that sparks flew when the storm of blades collided with the enemy. This signified that the enemy possessed incredible defense that couldn’t be easily breached by the edge of his blades.

As for the surrounding area that the storm of swords passed through, everything in the area was shredded. Be it the ground, trees, or other kinds of spirit creatures, everything was cut apart by the storm of swords.
