Chapter 316: Skill Copy.

Since what she was copying was the combination of his Metacs, it is why the power of her fist was at 5(Dao Status) × 5(Eye of Truth)× (1(Body) + 5(Life Ability) + 5(Mind) + 5(Will) + 5(Soul) + 90 Energy Well) × (5(Body Lever) + 5(Living Armament) + 5(Energy Amplifier) +5(Force Lever) + 5(Lightning Engine) + 5(Weaken)) × (500% Overdrive + 90% Energy Nexus), 458,430

She couldn’t copy the effect of the Reversal Metac, combining the power of her attack with Loki’s power. All she could copy was his initial attack power. But even that alone was enough to create power that was far higher than what Loki was able to produce with the power of her attack, combined with his.

So when their two fists smashed into each other, her fist was victorious in the clash. Her fist pushed Loki’s fist back and caused him to stagger backwards.

A split second after this, the collision between their hands caused an explosion of energy between them that knocked Loki back.

The explosion was caused by the clash of so much power between them. So it affected both of them.

But the explosion affected Loki more, even though the power of his body was at rank 5, while the power of her body was only at rank 1. This was because the great power of her Energy Well, which was at 90 points, was enhancing the power of her body.

There was also the fact that the power of her fist had overwhelmed his, so he was already losing ground before the explosion appeared and took advantage of his faltering state. So while Loki was smashed into the ground by the explosion, she was able to stay in the air as fire and heat washed over her face.

Loki groaned outwardly because of the slight ache in the bones of his hand, but he still stood up. When he managed to stand up and look at his enemy, he found her admiring her fist.

Her eyes were full of excitement as she looked at her fist and said, “I didn’t think such a power was possible. Who would believe that the Metacs of three pathways could work together in harmony? I would be called crazy for making such a claim. Yet, here we are.”

Then she looked down at Loki with a grin on her face and said, “What do you think now? Do you think I am so easy to defeat?”

Without waiting for him to reply, she smirked at him and said, “I have to thank you for this power. It is great.”

“If you have more, you should use it now. Don’t hold back at all. Use everything you have now while you can for that brief chance of survival.”

As she said this, she used the power she had just copied on both of her hands. It is therefore clear that whatever she copies is not for one-time use. She can use what she copied again and again as much as she wants.

She has tasted the good stuff and wants more of it, which is why she is encouraging him to do more. She wants him to do more things for her to copy and become stronger.

What she actually wants is to get all of the Metacs in his possession and find exactly what is helping him accomplish such a feat, so that she can use it for herself if possible. But she knows that he can destroy all of his Metacs with a single thought, so she knows it is unlikely for her to get those Metacs after his death.

So her only chance of improving her power is for him to display what he is capable of to her. But Loki didn’t do anything. He was just looking at her with a strange gaze that she didn’t notice.

When she didn’t get what she wanted, she sneered at him and said, “Where’s all of your bluster and confidence now? Why are you no longer fighting? Is it because you have realized the error of your ways?”

But as she said this, her skin was splitting apart and cracking. The sight made her look like fragile ceramics about to be destroyed.

She herself didn’t notice this change. She didn’t feel anything at all.

In fact, instead of feeling pain, she felt great. She felt as if she had touched the edge of greatness, and she wanted more of it.

Only Loki noticed that her skin was turning pale as paper, becoming rigid like ceramics, and fracturing with hairline cracks all over her body. He also noticed that the more she used his power on her hands, the more cracks were created and the faster the cracks widened.

After a few seconds of waiting, in which Loki was staring at her with bewilderment, and she was talking down to Loki and insulting him to get him to do something, a new change occurred.

Blood began to leak out of the cracks of her skin. At this point, even she began to notice something amiss.

She still couldn’t feel pain, but they noticed that her hands were bleeding now. This caused her to stop bothering with Loki and to stare at her hands with the same bewildered look that was on Loki’s face.

But this was just the start. The glowing mark on her head also dimmed, and her third eye went white with blindness.

These two changes happened at once and caught her off guard. The dimming of the glowing mark on her head was actually a result of her energy well cracking. So she had lost the enhancement of her energy well and couldn’t even use Metacs anymore.

As for the blinding of her third eye, that was caused by her Life Ability also cracking. In fact, her Life Ability collapsed completely, which was why her energy well was also damaged.

These changes meant that she lost her greatest sources of power. Yet, she still couldn’t feel pain. Her emotions were still stuck on that high of copying Loki’s power.
