Chapter 1269: The Seal Of Death.

Within his body, there was a large open space. The golden crystal Divine Spark occupied the center of this large open space. The star containing the Devouring Supreme Metac was revolving around the golden crystal. The other godheads were dull and revolved outside the first star’s orbit.

But after the first star became brighter and heavier, it seemed to pull another godhead into the inner orbit. Now two godheads revolved around the Divine Crystal. The other eight were still revolving listlessly in the outer orbit.

Of the two godheads in the inner orbit, one was full of two Supreme Metacs and was producing light like a real star. The second one was only vibrating.

The second godhead was empty and produced no light. Loki decided to change that. But first, he began creating a new Supreme Metac.

At first, he planned to use a variation of the Freedom Supreme Metac as his second pathway to hide from surveillance and make it harder for people to find him. This was his plan as of the last timeline.

But after he met the Guardian and had both his present and past selves shredded to pieces, he knew his plan wouldn’t work against entities like the Guardian.

He lost confidence in the Freedom Supreme Metac because he was sure powerful people like the Guardians could see right through his limited ability.

Plus, if the Gemini race discovered that he was using another Cosmic Dao that he upgraded from a Grand Dao, they would definitely want to know how he managed it.

He also thought about using the Knowledge Supreme Metac to hide knowledge and information about him. His third option was to use the Illusion Supreme Metac to make him look like someone else or turn invisible.

He had many options to stay hidden, but when he imagined how they would perform in front of the guardian, he could only shake his head, drop the idea, and look for something else.

Eventually, he concluded that the only way to stay hidden from the guardian was to avoid drawing his attention in the first place. His power just wasn’t enough to hide from the guardian once the guardian came face-to-face with him.

He knew only two ways to avoid drawing the guardian’s attention. Either he didn’t use the free divinity from the spark of power at all, or he used it in a way the guardian wouldn’t notice and come to him.

He didn’t like the first option as it meant crippling his greatest source of strength. If something like the attack on the golden mountain happened again, he wouldn’t be able to protect himself and could only wait to die.

So he sought a way to attack his enemies indirectly, preferably with invisible methods that couldn’t be traced back to him. The first idea that came to mind was a curse.

Therefore, he planned to use the Curse Supreme Metac as his second pathway. It was a Grand Dao, which would restrict his strength. But it offered him a way to attack enemies remotely, and he needed something like that.

When he thought about the Curse Dao, he remembered how Black Chain had nearly killed him with the curse trap. So he made up his mind to get something like that to use to kill people without exposing his strength.

Fortunately, that idea was upgraded just earlier by the spark of power when the Curse Dao became a Cosmic Dao. Of course, he still couldn’t use a Cosmic Dao that he upgraded from a Grand Dao, so he decided to tweak the Curse Dao into a bona fide Cosmic Dao.

That’s what he was currently doing within his inner world. In the space inside his body, he took a Supreme Metac shaped like a black skull and examined it.

The Black Skull was the upgraded Curse Dao. He broke it down into pieces and used the remnants to create a Divine Metac of the Curse Pathway.

Then he took the instructions from the broken skull and used them, along with the Divine Metac as a template, to make a new Supreme Metac, hoping it would align with one of the universe’s Cosmic Daos.

He wasn’t trying for any random Cosmic Dao, though. His goal was to create a different essence of the Death Dao. Since the Curse Dao was related to the Death Dao, and he already had supreme mastery of the Death Pathway, he was confident his plan would succeed.

As he expected, the Supreme Metac formed. In fact, he succeeded on the first try.

The Supreme Metac was a black stamp. It had a long handle for him to hold. Other than that, it was unremarkable.

-DEATH(ESSENCE OF CURSES - 81): Seal of Death(9).

’Very good,’ he thought as he grabbed the black seal with his Divine Spirit.

First, he absorbed it into the spark of power so he could use it to expand the 4-D prototype. After doing due diligence on the 4-D prototype, he created the Seal of Death Supreme Metac directly through the spark of power.

Next pushed the black seal into the second godhead. Then he gathered some divine crystals and stuffed them into the godhead.

Finally, with a thought, he initiated the fission of the divine crystals with the golden string. Like a lit match, a spark appeared in the godhead.

The spark spread rapidly like flames in hay and soon turned the entire godhead into a ball of fire. As the flames spread, more divine crystals split, burning energy and producing divinity.

Just like that, a new star was born, and the advancement process was complete. Loki sighed in relief and relaxed.

’Finally, I am no longer a noob or a runt of a Dao Lord. I am officially one of the movers and shakers of the Sea of Worlds,’ he thought with pride.

It was only advancing to two-star celestial, and there were eight stars left to go. But he was already letting his newfound power get to his head.
