Chapter 364: Today is The Day.

’Yes... heirs of Origin Seeds are considered the chosen ones... they are the closest ones to the Origin Seeds or the Ancestral Trees... hence, the treatment differs from the rest.’ Ash’Kral nodded in approval.

’So... you’re telling me she just needs to collect the necessary resources requested by the Seed? If it’s like this, why is she still stuck at the Warden rank?’ Levi frowned.

’Ask your girlfriend, why do you need to bother me with questions always?’ Ash’Kral shooed him away in annoyance.

’Asshole.’

Levi decided to fulfill Ash’Kral’s wish and returned his focus to Jasmine.

’What do you mean that you have to earn it? Is it related to the reason for being stuck in the Warden rank?’ Levi asked.

’Yes...’ Jasmine nodded, ’By understanding my aspects. By unlocking them naturally. When I reach the next grade of my aspects, the Primordial Tree will permit me to go forward... even if I had the resources, I can’t force it.’

Levi was left astonished, not expecting Jasmine’s evolutionary path to be locked with the keys being Aspect Understanding... he had gone through the experience personally when he unlocked the Melody Aspect, and he understood that if it wasn’t for the stress of the Death Game, he would have never achieved that kind of understanding this early.

He knew just how hard it was to capture that strange feeling... if he could describe it, it would be similar to a Flow State, but enhanced tenfold!

’What kind of Aspect do you need to unlock next to get permission?’ Levi wondered.

’It’s the Scripture Aspect.’ Jasmine answered, ’The Laws of Erasure don’t have many aspects linked to it, so I’m good on this side. However, the Laws of Creation are different... I have currently mastered only the Ink Aspect, and it has allowed me to breeze through the early ranks until the Warden rank... but the Scripture Aspect is my next wall, and I am still struggling to understand it fully...’

’Scripture Aspect...’ Levi frowned, ’Is it an aspect related to shapeshifting reality based on scripture of your own writings?’

’More or less.’ Jasmine nodded, ’I can only draw and paint with Ink Aspect or write some words... but, unless I unlock Scripture Aspect, this will forever be my limit on understanding of the Laws of Creation.’

’Scripture... how does one even understand such an aspect?’ Levi shook his head, ’I think you need to sit down and start writing, not fighting in death games... You might need an intellectual understanding of the aspect, not an instinctual.’

Levi understood that aspect understandings were based on many methods, which were linked to the core of the aspect itself... if it was related to bodies, then the understanding had to occur through the body. If it were spiritual, then the understanding needed to include a spiritual experience.

If it were like Melody... then, the understanding was fueled with instinct and feelings... but Scripture? It sounded like an intellectual path.

’That’s what I have been doing all this time.’ Jasmine smiled bitterly, ’But, nothing... that’s why I have decided to change my approach... especially, when many difficult aspects are awaiting me after it.’

’It made me realize that unless I put myself at my limits, it might take me forever to evolve.’

’Ah, what can I say? Your evolutionary path is quite interesting...’ Levi rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

He didn’t know if this was more difficult than theirs or not, but he knew one thing... the absence of formulas was massive, as it would save Jasmine an immense amount of resources and money to learn them.

Whether she managed to understand her aspects or not, at least, she wouldn’t be as broke as him in the future.

’What about you?’ Jasmine switched the conversation to him, ’You said you will evolve in less than two weeks... is it going to be a single evolution or all three together? I am still confused about your path. I can’t imagine myself owning three Origin Seeds, sounds like too much hassle.’

’Tell me about it.’

Levi’s brows twitched... but he swiftly moved on, not wanting to piss the peaceful Divas off.

’I’m going to be undergoing somewhat of a harsh process during my next evolution... I need to split my soul three ways to accommodate them and avoid the mistakes of the previous partners.’ Levi shared with a deep sigh, ’If I don’t deliver on my word, I am screwed.’

’Soul-Split?’ N’ibby’s expression turned solemn, ’The theory does sound feasible, but does he have the soul and mental strength for it? Ask him.’

’N’ibby wants to know if you have what it takes to pull it off.’ Jasmine asked.

’Well... I guess I am going to find out during my attempt.’ Levi offered with a smile, ’You’re invited to watch... I might need some help.’

Levi already had plans to invite his brother during the process to give him a hand in case things went south... he knew he was about to become a Warden Daywalker, which meant he could update him about everything by keeping a wisp within his spiritual leywell.

Similarly, he could turn off his Neuralink device until they were done... Levi wasn’t too sure about the upcoming evolution’s survival rate, and he wanted his brother to be there in case he didn’t make it.

At least, he could give him closure right there instead of disappearing on him.

’Okay... you tell me when.’ Jasmine smiled, accepting his invitation... but then, she added, ’If you want access to my territory for any sort of business, you are more than welcome.’

’Will do.’

Levi didn’t shy away... Jasmine had an empire’s surface area territory left as inheritance... even if her Omnipotence Level was still at the lowest since it couldn’t be inherited, it didn’t matter. She could always increase it, but almost no one would ever obtain the same territory size unless they slaved their life in the Ring.

One week later... In the Boundless Expanse: Levi’s territory.

Jasmine and Arthur stood next to each other as they stared at Levi, who was sitting in a meditation position in the center of a massive gray array drawn on a hard white floor. A moment later, Ash’Kral finished drawing the array and returned to the center with a solemn smile.

"Levi, are you ready to do this?" He warned, "If you aren’t ready, it’s better to postpone it than rush it... You can’t do this twice, not in one piece."

Hearing this, both Jasmine and Arthur showed hardened expressions... although they knew that Levi had been spending most of his time in meditation sessions to prepare himself mentally, they could tell that he might need much more than that.

But Levi refused to give them any further information, not to freak them out and ruin his concentration... but now that it was happening, he didn’t care anymore. His mentality was solid.

"It’s time." Levi replied calmly, "If I postponed it once, I will postpone it again, and again. Each time, a small piece of my resolve dies with it. So, no... today is the day. We are doing this."

"Good."

Ash’Kral smirked... he wanted to test Levi’s resolve and see if he would crack, but he didn’t disappoint him.

"Now... what do you want to do?" Ash’Kral asked, "Do you want to do the standard soul-split theory during the evolution... or start with splitting your soul and then finishing it off with the evolution?"

"Don’t forget... the first option has the highest probability of success, as much as it is more painful." He added.

Levi nodded in understanding... after his soul devoured the Phoenix’s soul, its enhancement was high enough Levi no longer needed to increase his soul with the evolution before splitting it... he could split his soul before the evolution occurred, reducing the pain and strain immensely.

However, he soon realized that splitting his soul during the evolution was going to help him in the long run in his evolutionary paths.

’I must commit to the first option... if I split my soul before the evolution, the three Seeds are going to fight for possession of my main soul... I can’t handle their drama or piss any of them off in such a sensitive time.’

’So, I have to go for the evolution with the Nine Senses Seed while the choice is still mine.’
