Chapter 1509: Chapter 960: Active Assault

On the rock-like visage of Carlos, the deep lines seemed to deepen slightly with surprise.

His lava-like eyes stared at Kana, his steady mountain-like voice carrying a rare ripple:

"Lord Kana... apologies, do not mind my words that may have offended.

"Though I have long heard of your deeds from the previous duty officer, and I am aware of your extreme youth, yet seeing it with my own eyes, feeling that astonishing ’newness’ and ’sharpness’ in your divinity, the impact still exceeds imagination."

He shook his head slightly, his granite-like divine body emitting a low friction sound.

"A century... no, even shorter. In the long scale of the Star Realm, this is almost just a fleeting moment.

"Many mortal races are still groping in ignorance, while you have ignited the divine fire, forged a fortress in the Abyss, and even possess the revered title of ’Savior.’

"This is not flattery, Lord Kana, this is a miracle that even us old stones must pay attention to."

Kana nodded slightly, accustomed to such admiration, for every god who saw him would say so, would be this amazed.

He responded calmly:

"Thank you for your praise, Lord Carlos. The length of time is not the measure of all things; the crisis and responsibilities of the world compel us to move forward."

He skillfully shifted the topic, cutting to the chase.

"I have come this time hoping to coordinate with the Blood War Fortress for a limited joint action."

The light in Carlos’ lava-like pupils dimmed, returning to a rock-solid calm: "Oh? Please speak. On this stagnant battlefield, any active action is worth listening to."

Evidently for the Order’s cart, the "calm" on level 1121 is somewhat unsatisfactory.

"I plan to initiate a proactive attack from the direction of the Blood Pit Fortress."

Kana got straight to the point.

He raised his hand, divine power sketched a partial map illusion of level 1121 between the two, clearly marking the Blood Pit Fortress, the Blood War Fortress, and the dangerous area between them crisscrossed with jagged lines.

"There are three objectives: first, to eliminate the three most active demon outposts at the Blood Pit Fortress’ forefront, reducing daily pressure; second, to launch a tactical diversion towards Scorched Bone Wilderness, distracting the demon main force’s attention."

Kana’s finger moved on the map, finally focusing on the blank area between the Blood Pit Fortress and the Blood War Fortress.

"And the most important objective is to advance at least fifty kilometers toward your fortress, establishing a more secure and convenient connecting path."

He looked at Carlos, explaining: "You know, we both are deep in the Abyss, the flow of materials and personnel should be mutually beneficial.

"But this battlefield in the middle is an excellent spot for demons to ambush transport teams. Our valuable transport boxes, along with our brave transport personnel, have already been lost more than once because of this. Each loss is a blow to both of us."

Carlos nodded heavily, recalling those loss reports, indeed a cause for regret.

Although for the gods, those supplies hold no significance.

But he himself is of a race that favors mortal life, and those supplies are a comfort for mortal souls and fundamental to their protection.

Those efficient spatial transport boxes, if they could flow stably, would greatly enhance the supply efficiency of the Blood War Fortress.

Kana continued to elaborate on the plan: "My idea is for the main force at the Blood Pit Fortress to handle the first two objectives, creating enough battlefield noise and chaos to attract the demons’ attention.

"Meanwhile, I hope to coordinate with your fortress’s elite forces for a strong and brief assault on this ’flank’—the area between our two fortresses."

His finger traced a clear route on the map illusion.

"This push is not meant to penetrate deep into the demon heartland, the target is clear and limited—seize these fifty kilometers, establish preliminary defense nodes, and form a relatively safe corridor.

"This is an area where the order’s control is relatively strong between our two fortresses, so theoretically the resistance should be less.

"Even if the demons counterattack, they would first address the chaos we created at the front end, and for this ’flank’ optimization of our order’s internal connections, their response might be relatively delayed or even temporarily tolerated.

"After all, in the history of the Blood War Fortress, this is also a common tug-of-war ’border’ area. By the time they realize and want to reclaim it, we would have already secured our foothold and established basic defenses."

Carlos stroked his stony chin, making a slight "click" sound, sinking into thought.

He carefully examined the route and plan nodes outlined by Kana.

This is indeed a pragmatic and relatively risk-controlled plan.

The attacks on the first two targets serve as feints but are also substantial weakenings, creating opportunities for the true goal—opening the connecting path.

And the choice to advance toward the Blood War Fortress benefits the fortress’s own safety and supply lines.

Most crucially, this scale remains within controllable limits, not stirring an overreaction from the unfathomable will of the Abyss.

Such tugs are the norm on the Blood Battle Battlefield.

Even on this level, it is so.

"I understand your intentions, Lord Kana."

Carlos finally spoke, his voice restored to rock-like firmness.

"This plan is reasonable and mutually beneficial. The Blood War Fortress will cooperate with the action. I will order the elite troops to simultaneously launch an attack on the designated area at the appointed time, striving to complete the opening and initial consolidation of the passage before the demons respond."
