Chapter 1447: Chapter 934: Rule Dome_2
Arya’s clear and unwavering voice, akin to a rock, timely broke the silence that nurtured the storm.
Her gaze, like a sharp blade drawn from its sheath, slowly swept over the resolute faces of each member of her "Silver Radiance Blade" team.
She then turned to her brother Vane and every member under his command in "Stardust Watcher," her voice steady and powerful, carrying an undeniable determination and iron-like belief.
"Three days! Refine both body and spirit to the peak state. Digest and thoroughly understand every piece of information distributed."
"This door to the legendary realm opened for us by Lord Kana,"
She paused, her gaze burning like flames.
"We must not only walk in with heads held high, but we must also return successfully and gloriously. With solid legendary strength, prove that we deserve this supreme honor."
"Yes, Captain!" The chorus response from the Silver Radiance Blade team rang out like war drums, sonorous and forceful.
"Understood, Arya Big Sis!" Some members from Vane’s team shouted with genuine respect.
"For the Night Watcher! For the Legendary!" The mixed, blood-filled, deafening war cries from the two teams echoed intensely in the spacious training ground, seemingly ready to pierce through the solid alloy walls.
The members of the Soul Guardian Squad, at this moment, had a burning fighting spirit in their eyes, more fierce and pure than ever, like an eternal flame leaping vigorously.
They are about to embark on a radiant shortcut to the legendary realm paved by their revered leader, and they will be the first admired batch on this glorious path.
...
Time flew by like a fleeting white steed.
The three days passed in the blink of an eye.
But for those concerned with the legendary quest, it was nonetheless an anxious ordeal; they never felt three days was so long and unbearable, like living through years.
Yet no matter what, they at least resiliently endured.
Three days later in the morning, the faint morning light had just dispelled the last wisps of mist over Ring Tower City.
In front of the twin floating fortresses belonging to Silver Radiance Blade and Stardust Watcher, the flat lawn was already filled with silhouettes.
The members of the two Soul Guardian Squads, including Captain Arya and Vane, had already gathered here energetically, early.
This moment was of such significant importance, they anticipated today more eagerly than any moment before.
At this moment.
They were all dressed neatly and efficiently, donned in the Night Watcher’s standard combat equipment.
Whether it was the lightweight and durable leather armor, the metal armor flashing with runic brilliance, or the meticulously polished, gleaming weapons—they were all impeccably equipped.
These were not their everyday gear.
After all, the Soul Guardian Squad, each squad had its unique style, excelling in different aspects of battle.
Therefore, the weapons and equipment of each squad were typically not standard issue.
But today was evidently different.
The opportunity for combat here was very small, and a bit of ceremonial solemnity was needed, so they all switched to the unified Night Watcher’s standard equipment and weapons.
This visually enhanced their overall unity.
Everyone tried to maintain outward calmness and order, their expressions somber, as if they were undergoing a routine assembly.
However, beneath this deliberately maintained calm was a turbulent undercurrent of inescapable nervousness and excitement.
The team members chatted softly in groups of two or three, deliberately avoiding the upcoming critical trial, instead discussing urban anecdotes, training ground snippets, or recently implemented floating technology applications.
These daily, seemingly relaxed gossip and idle chatter currently seemed more like a subconscious behavior to alleviate the immense internal pressure.
Everyone was aware that the string in their hearts was long drawn taut like a full bow.
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity per person!
The threshold of the legendary realm was so close yet, like the abyss, possibly out of reach.
What happens after failure?
Is failure merely a waste of a lifetime choice?
Can the experience painfully gained from this failure truly be retained?
Or is it that after failure, one can never become a legend?
The permanent regret or rule-level exclusion possibly brought by failure weighed on one’s heart like a heavy, invisible rock.
Even the Night Watcher elites known for their resilient will couldn’t truly remain calm facing this destiny-affecting leap.
These three days, rather than rest, were more like a spiritual ordeal.
Expectation and anxiety intertwined complexly, the fickle emotions inevitably shadowing them even though their robust Level Ten constitution was enough to disregard a night or two of slight sleep deprivation.
On the lawn, the only one truly maintaining a tranquil aura akin to an ancient well was Arya, who had already stepped into the legendary domain.
After all, she had long solidly entered the legendary realm.
This space evidently had no direct use for her, thus her steady state.
Watching the nervousness of her long-time team members and the young faces in her brother Vane’s team today, she couldn’t help but show a faint understanding and gentle smile; such scenes used to be rare.
She crossed her arms, her gaze calm and embracing as it swept over her team and Vane’s.
Like a steady lighthouse, silently emitting calming power, soothing the turbulent emotions caused by the unknown around her.
Just then, beside them, the tranquil air inexplicably rippled like water.
A spatial fissure, edged with a soft and stable silver glow, noiselessly and gracefully tore open.
A young mage with the commander’s insignia stepped out calmly, wearing a smile of knowing.
His gaze quickly scanned the ready, varied expressions of the team members, nodding in satisfaction.
"Everyone’s here, it seems you’re somewhat eager and impatient."
The commander’s voice clearly shattered the morning’s tranquility.
"Now then, no need for pleasantries. Everyone, please follow me."
As his words fell, the spatial fissure swiftly stabilized and expanded.
Transforming into an elliptical teleportation gate flowing with soft silver light, its interior scene hazy and unclear, exuding a heart-stirring mysterious spatial fluctuation.
The team members exchanged glances, took deep breaths, and quelled the last bit of inner flutter.
Under Vane and Arya’s steady lead, they stepped in succession, entering the silver teleportation gate filled with spatial magic power.
Finally, after confirming everyone had entered, the commander’s figure flickered and disappeared within too.
The teleportation gate then closed like water waves, the lawn seemingly unchanged, leaving only the crisp morning air.
After the slight dizziness of the spatial shift, the two squads found themselves standing at the top of Ring Tower City, in the legendary space entrance carved out by Lord Kana.
The sights before them were quite peculiar and astonishing.
Underneath their feet was the emblematic, specially stone-constructed platform of the Tower of Trial.
And on top of this platform, a structure seemingly capped with countless crystalline, sharply-defined "glass," enormous and exotic.
This structure wasn’t physical, more like a transparent shell formed by pure energy and intertwined rules, emitting a hazy, mysterious glow; its shape hovered between a spire and a dome, intricacy difficult to describe.
It quietly floated, solemnly becoming the new, highest pinnacle of Ring Tower City—the legendary space’s external manifestation, the rules dome.
Currently, they weren’t the only ones on this landing zone.
Many powerful or prestigious figures were already waiting here, their gazes scrutinizing and expectant, focused on this newly arrived group.
Vane, Arya, and others looked around and easily recognized many familiar faces among them.
