Chapter 1369: Chapter 899: Sailing Vessel (Part 2)

He waved his hand as he spoke.

A beam of light appeared from the celestial ship in the sky.

Beneath the feet of the three appeared an array, which Kana immediately recognized as one possessing the power of teleportation.

There was no resistance.

With a flash, they appeared inside the ship.

In front of them was a wide corridor, with simple decorative patterns around and heavy stone slabs underfoot.

Ahead was a slope, stretching upwards.

Chronos’s hearty laughter seemed to still echo in the corridor.

He reached out his broad palm and gently patted Kana on the shoulder—this gesture carried the signature strength of a Titan, yet cleverly restrained the tremendous power that could move mountains.

It felt more like a welcoming invitation full of recognition and enthusiasm.

You could only feel his expansiveness, without sensing any malice.

"Let’s go, new friend! And Luminar, with your solid crystal-core head, come too, I’ve also prepared for you wine that can make even you relish.

"Let my ’fortress’ be touched by your brilliance as well!"

Chronos’s single eye burned brightly as he was the first to stride towards the slope.

Kana and Luminar exchanged glances, the crystal facets gleaming with a gentle responding aura, then they followed.

The corridor seemed very long.

But to them, it was only a short distance.

Stepping onto the deck

The sensation underfoot was not the coldness of metal or stone, but a kind of dark gold "osseous stratum" imbued with strange elasticity and resilience, as if treading on the spine of an ancient giant beast.

Massive armored plates covered it, interlocking like teeth, filled with rough impact scars and scorch marks from energy burns, silently telling tales of endless conquests.

As far as the eye could see, this deck called "fortress" was astonishingly vast, almost like a floating island.

At the end of the deck, the most striking grand construction—a gigantic circular arena.

Its main body was constructed from gigantic bones etched with rune marks in dark gray, like rib bones of some prehistoric giant beast, open at the top to let the brilliant light of the Star Realm pour down.

Deafening roars, thunderous impact sounds, and countless mixed shouts could be faintly heard from there, filled with primal violence and the warmth of life.

And just as they approached, standing in the nearby shadows were sixteen figures as imposing as mountains.

Sixteen Titan Guards

Each standing eighteen meters tall, with typical Titan stature.

Their limbs, thick like mountain ridges, were covered in solid skin, the most distinctive feature being the singular eye in the center of their faces, radiating wisdom and power.

However, their skin was not uniform but displayed a stunning diversity of elements and substances.

Some had skin like cooled lava, with dark golden patterns flowing through the red, the high temperatures distorting the surrounding air.

Some were like refined gold mithril, gleaming with a hard metallic luster, with large rivet structures at the joints.

Some were enveloped in thick frost armor that constantly shed and reconstituted, exuding an icy chill.

Some seemed constructed from massive granite blocks, with glowing moss growing in the crevices.

Others had bodies that seemed made of flowing sand and petrified crystal clusters, or some form of animate obsidian...

They were diverse in form, yet all exuded an overwhelmingly powerful sense of suppression, each standing firmly at the peak of legends.

Level Fifteen, each one of them.

Like sixteen silent, living battle fortresses, loyally guarding this area.

Their single eyes focused on Chronos, filled with absolute reverence, while showing slight respect towards Kana and Luminar.

This was respect for a god.

The sixteen Titans all bowed their heads slightly in deference.

"Hahaha, Kana, Luminar, look at my guards!"

Chronos’s voice resounded like a bell, filled with undisguised pride.

"Sixteen of the purest Titan warriors, my bloodline clan! Each carries different sources of power, forged in endless battles to construct their immortal legendary bodies!"

Every one of them was a descendant of his clan, selected by him for their strength.

A total of sixteen different powers formed his guard.

Of course, to say they could protect him is obviously impossible; they were more to show presence and handle battles that didn’t require a god’s intervention yet demanded strength.

As soon as Chronos finished speaking, heavy hoofbeats and the sound of space being forcibly torn apart came from the sky overhead.

An indescribably massive chariot descended from the heavens, landing with a thunderous crash on the deck not far in front of them.

Thirty-six robust and mighty golden divine bulls pulled the chariot.

They were not creatures of flesh, but rather some kind of divine and powerful metallic creations, their entire bodies covered in golden heavy armor that radiated like sunlight, with each fall of their heavy hooves causing the solid deck to tremble slightly.

Blazing white energy flames burned in their eye sockets, and the breath exhaled from their nostrils carried scorching white smoke.

A vast life force and pure power suppression emanated from them.

The bulls dragged behind them not an ordinary cabin but a mobile miniature palace.

A hall base carved from a solid piece of dark golden metal, featuring rugged columns and war god reliefs, its size comparable to a grand mansion of the mortal world.

"Moo——!"

The divine bulls roared in unison, their sound waves rolling.

Coming to a steady halt before them.

At the same time, four agile figures gracefully descended from the sides of the palace base, standing steadily in front of the chariot.

These were four angels.

They possessed perfectly proportioned female silhouettes, yet decidedly not weak.

Dark golden form-fitting lightweight armor covered their strong, muscular lines, akin to steel, filled with explosive power.

Their faces were resolute, their eyes sharp like eagles, with wings unfolded behind them that were not like typical feathers but two pairs of "power-light wings" resembling giant sharp claws, with dangerous arcs of light dancing along the edges.

They wielded short spears entwined with thunder and huge diamond-shaped heavy shields, poised like a leopard ready to leap, emanating an aura born for battle.

It’s enough to say no wonder these angels belong to the god of battle; the sheer force and battle-hungry aura were overwhelming.

"Welcome, Venerable Ones."

The four mighty angels spoke in unison with a concise, resonant voice that was strong and carried a metallic quality.

They bowed slightly, their movements precise and full of power.

"Come, aboard my ’Divine Bull Palace’!"

Chronos was the first to step onto the unfolded dark golden steps, like the tongue of a giant beast, gesturing invitingly to Kana and Luminar.

Kana and Luminar then boarded this strange mobile palace base.

The thirty-six golden divine bulls exerted force simultaneously, letting out a deafening roar and generating a golden energy aura from beneath their hooves.

The heavy chariot instantly gained astonishing acceleration, moving swiftly and steadily along the wide flat deck road toward the arena.

The chariot accelerated quickly, soon rising into the air, flying along an invisible aerial corridor.

From this altitude, the vast circular arena below became even more clearly visible.

Inside the arena, there was a cacophony of voices, with seats around the central giant fighting field filled densely with spectators from various races of the Star Realm.

There were beastmen roaring in support, elves calmly observing, bizarre-looking elemental lives, humanoid creatures in varied attire, and even some dwarfed giants or other star realm races.

The diversity of races made it truly a grand gathering of multiple races.

And at the center of the arena, the fierce battle was at its climax.

A one-eyed giant over ten meters tall, with four muscular arms twisted with strength, was evidently part of the Titan clan.

He was engaged in pure physical combat with a beastman of equally massive size, burning with eerie blue flames, resembling a fierce tiger yet covered in bone spikes.

This opponent in the fight emanated a savage malice, an enemy of order.

No flashy magic, no sharp weapons, just the thunderous sound of fist upon flesh.

The Titan giant swung his four arms, his heavy fists smashing down like a siege hammer, cutting through the air with a sharp whistle.

The tiger-beastman demonstrated astonishing agility and wild power, his sharp claws tearing through space, his burning tiger tail lashing like a steel whip.

Each collision burst forth visible shockwaves, stirring the protective barriers at the edge of the arena.

Blood or similar life energy splattered; the roar was deafening, the primal wildness and pure beauty of strength were vividly displayed in the bloody collision.

The shouts and waves of sound from the audience almost seemed to overturn the dome of the arena, though it was an open-air arena.
