"In the past, the same amount of forensic material might take several days to process, but now we can probably compress the overall identification time to about one-third of what it was!"

Upon hearing this, Jiang An's eyes gleamed with a hint of brightness, and the corners of his mouth involuntarily rose: "Doesn't that mean we can not only try out the new equipment but also verify whether your gear is reliable?"

Captain Tian laughed heartily on the phone, responding without hesitation: "You bet!"

"Given our good relationship, even if the case isn't under Guangling's jurisdiction, since you, Mr. Jiang, asked for help, I have to lend a hand, and I've got to do you this favor."

"When do you plan to send the evidence over? I'll arrange for priority processing here without delay."

After hearing this, Jiang An replied with a genuine sense of gratitude in his tone: "That's fantastic, Captain Tian; I won't hold back then."

"Once I've sorted through the evidence on hand, I'll immediately send someone to deliver it. I'll count on your support for the subsequent tasks."

"Providing support is only right; contact me anytime you need!"

Captain Tian agreed enthusiastically and then added warmly, "By the way, I've been meaning to invite you to come to our Guangling division for an exchange."

"Whenever you have the time, come and give a lecture to the brothers, share some of your experiences."

"Once the lecture is done, we should have a good gathering and definitely indulge in a hearty drink!"

Jiang An responded with a smile: "No problem, Captain Tian, there's always time."

"The older the wine, the richer its flavor, and there are plenty of opportunities for us."

After hanging up the phone, Jiang An visibly relaxed: "It's settled."

"Guangling is using the new 50-channel equipment, which is significantly more efficient than ours."

"I plan to send 700 sample pieces over there, and we should see progress soon."

He then proceeded to contact two other city detective captains.

As expected, both captains readily agreed upon hearing Jiang An's request.

In the detective circle, Jiang An is already recognized as an expert in his field; who wouldn't want to build a connection?

Borrowing equipment won't cause any damage and can verify the stability of the new equipment. Why not do it?

Furthermore, if this could play a crucial role in solving the major case at hand, it would deepen personal ties with Jiang An and represent a tangible achievement on an official level—it could be featured in future reports to the provincial headquarters: "In a certain year, certain month, aided brother city bureau in processing forensic evidence, providing substantial support for case breakthroughs."

Within just 10 minutes, all coordination was finalized.

Jiang An put down the phone and turned to report to Director Lu: "Everything is arranged."

"They all indeed have new equipment of the same batch, and the performance should be stable."

"I plan to handle 2000 pieces of evidence, keep 100 for ourselves, and distribute the remaining 1900 pieces to these three city bureaus for collaborative work."

Upon hearing this, Director Lu was initially excited but then became slightly concerned: "This arrangement... might it not be quite appropriate? We're only handling a small amount ourselves and relying mostly on external assistance. Would it reflect poorly on us if it gets out..."

Jiang An waved his hand, exuding calm confidence: "Rest assured, Director Lu, these captains are long-time cooperative partners; there will be plenty of opportunities for future collaboration."

"Moreover, occasionally using the equipment at most counts as normal material wear and tear and won't affect its functionality."

"Mutual aid and cooperation are the essence of our system. They're happy to support us, and we can advance the progress. It's a win-win."

After these words, both Director Lu and Director Hou visibly relaxed their brows.

Both simultaneously showed expressions of delight, unanimously giving Jiang An a thumbs-up.

"Mr. Jiang, your connections are truly remarkable! A few phone calls resolved such a troublesome issue for us efficiently, and the personal relationships are just right. Truly impressive!"
