Chapter 581
Chapter 581: Close for the Day!
“Do what you feel is correct,” Aakesh told Lily.
It was entirely up to Lily whether she wanted to pledge her loyalty to the King and his throne or not. Whatever decision she took, it was on her to go through with it since Aakesh wouldn’t help her.
Lily fell silent in response to Aakesh’s comment, and not long after that, she comfortably fell asleep on his head.
There was still time left before the sunset so Aakesh couldn’t close the store for now. After Lily fell asleep, Aakesh also closed his eyes and started his relaxation session since there were no new customers in his sight.
Time flew by.
The sun finally set down, bringing the darkness back and devouring light.
It was now time for Aakesh to close the store.
There were still a few customers left inside the Panagea and the weapons room.
Aakesh didn’t have to worry about the customers inside the Panagea since the system would automatically force them out. Aakesh only had to stand up and walk to the weapons room.
“You all can come tomorrow. It’s time for the store to close for the day!”
An expressionless voice rang in the ears of every customer present in the weapons room.
The customers couldn’t help but shake their heads in disappointment as many of them still hadn’t found a weapon they liked, while many were searching to find an even better weapon than they had gotten.
But no one dared to make a fuss or throw tantrums as they left the weapons room and then the store. Irrespective of cultivation level, every customer felt fearful of the mysterious store owner.
Since there were no customers left in the weapons room, Aakesh also exited it and returned to his chair.
One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed, and just like that, seven minutes had passed.
A customer came out of the portal room. She then thanked Aakesh, wished him good night, and then left the store through the door.
Aakesh then stood up from his chair as the lady was the last customer present in the store. Now only Aakesh and Lily were present inside the store.
Since it was the sunset, Aakesh went to the door and closed it, ending another fruitful day in the life of the store.
“It’s time for training,” Aakesh told Lily as he woke her up.
Lily rubbed her eyes as she stretched her tiny paws.
Aakesh only smiled. The next moment, both of them disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection area.
Lily chose her usual training with the earlier Epochal Felines. The next moment, a space crack in the form of a portal appeared and sucked her in without even giving her a chance to resist.
After Lily left, Aakesh took out the training weapon from his right side. He then turned to his left and selected the environment he wanted to train inside.
The next moment, a portal similar to one for Lily appeared and sucked Aakesh inside.
The next moment, Aakesh found himself in a familiar environment in the midst of eerie silence and darkness.
“Whoosh!”
Suddenly a sound rang in the area.
The direction of the sound was left to Aakesh, but instead of dodging to his left, Aakesh turned around, nocked his bow as an energy arrow took shape on it, and shot it.
“Whoosh!”
“Clang!”
The next moment, the sound of an arrow tearing through the air rang in the area, but not long after, a metallic clash devoured that sound.
Aakesh had no mood to check what had happened, as this time, two sounds of an item tearing through the air rang in the area. One originated from Aakesh’s front, while one from his behind.
Aakesh nocked the bow again and shot three arrows straight away, but before he could check the result, he turned to his left and shot one arrow.
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Boom!”
The next moment, continuous sounds of metallic clashes rang in the area, and not long after, an explosion rang in the area.
In this training, at the start, there would be two sounds as a random projectile would get thrown at Aakesh.
Aakesh would have to guess the direction of the item coming toward him from the sound and then destroy it.
As Aakesh proceeded forward, the number of sounds and projectiles would increase exponentially and attack him.
Sometimes swords would attack Aakesh, while sometimes, it would be an arrow.
The number of arrows Aakesh needed to shoot depended upon the item coming toward him, so this training not only strengthened Aakesh’s hearing but also his senses.
Time flew by.
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
Simultaneously more than ten thousand different kinds of sounds originating from different directions rang in the area.
Aakesh had an expressionless face as he first turned to his right and shot seven arrows in a row. Before the arrow moved even an inch away from the bow, Aakesh returned to his previous direction and fired a single arrow.
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
Aakesh matched the ten thousand projectiles as the sound of metallic clashes engulfed the area already drowned in darkness.
“Puchi!”
Suddenly the sound of something piercing through the body rang in the area. If there were light present, the scene of an arrow piercing the area between Aakesh’s eyebrows would present itself to the person watching it.
After the arrow pierced Aakesh, he couldn’t stand straight for long as he crashed to the ground after losing consciousness.
The next moment, Aakesh appeared in the selection area since the training Aakesh had chosen was only available once a day to him.
Aakesh didn’t feel disappointed as Aakesh could already match the rhythm of ten thousand projectile attacks aimed at him. Aakesh believed he would successfully breach the mark in the next one or two days.
Since it had only been a few minutes, Aakesh began the training. There was still much time left before Lily would exit; Aakesh decided to select another training since he wouldn’t be able to enter the current one for the day.
Aakesh then turned to his left, put down the bow, and chose another weapon.

A/N: What weapon do you think Aakesh would’ve chosen?
No, it’s not a sword or spear!
Only one chapter for now. I would upload two more chapters later in the day. Until then, please comment on what weapon Aakesh picked up?
