The First Store System

Chapter 426

Chapter 426: The Void Beasts(2)

“So, what do you think should be done?” The aura around Oxen suddenly turned cold as he asked. “Should we combine our forces and kill him, or should we let him develop and have some friendly relations with him?” He simplified the question the next moment.

For creatures of their stature, there was no such thing as saving face. Their foremost duty was to protect the Primal dimension from destruction, so what methods they employed didn’t matter to them.

“Let’s hear it from you first, Talia,” Oxen looked at Talia and commented.

The other Void beasts also looked toward Talia to know her opinion first. Since there were eleven of them and had their different views on what the majority would choose would happen.

“When you conversed with that Aakesh, what was his reaction toward you?” Talia, instead of giving her suggestion, asked Oxen a question.

“I felt nothing for me in his eyes. Neither did he feel disgusted since he had a powerful arrow strong enough to kill, nor did he have respect for me. He had a similar expression to what we have for anyone other than us, complete indifference,” Oxen honestly told what he noticed at that time from Aakesh toward him.

“Okay, I have another question,” Talia expressionlessly commented. Oxen gestured for her to go ahead.

“Are you sure that he only had one weapon of that caliber?” Talia asked.

“No!” Oxen bluntly replied. “Aakesh may have more than one such arrow, but the number couldn’t exceed three,” Oxen didn’t stop and continued.

“Why three?” A Void beast couldn’t help but ask.

“The number three is always considered a balanced figure. If Aakesh had four, he would’ve used it to destroy the barrier surrounding the galaxy and not use other weaker arrows to do it,” Oxen responded.

“It makes sense,” The other Void beast chimed in. They then returned their eyes to Talia since she still hadn’t given her opinion.

“Let’s suppose he had three of such weapons, and we decide to take the hard option and eliminate him before any troubling situation arose in the Primal dimension. Our group has eleven members, and three arrows would take any three of us out, so now who are the three members who would be willing to sacrifice themselves,” Talia created a condition for everyone to share their opinions.

“Since I am the first, let me start the answers. I would be willing to become one of the three sacrificed members, but before doing that, I would like to know everything about the store owner, even if we chose to eliminate him. He may not be a tragedy but an opportunity for the Primal dimension,” Talia gave her honest opinions.

Oxen then looked at the next Void beast.

“I agree with Talia. We need to learn everything about the store owner before making a decision,” The Void beast replied.

Time flew by.

One by one, all eleven of them shared their opinions. The decision they made, in the end, was to research the details around Aakesh, and only then would they make any decision. All eleven of them had chosen to go through this way.

“Who would research around the store owner, then?” Oxen asked.

For being the protector of the Primal dimension, they had two privileges. One, they could teleport to any place, barring a few ruins, and the second was that they could directly get the complete life detail of any inhabitants of the dimension.

Since Aakesh had weapons strong enough to kill them, he would be able to know if the Void beasts tried to learn everything about him. It could offend him and go terribly wrong for the Primal dimension; it was the last thing they wanted. So considering this situation, a personal search was deemed to be most suitable.

“You!”

“You!”

“You!”

Almost simultaneously, the other ten Void beasts responded. Since Oxen was the one to find out about this situation surrounding the arrow, he would be the better person to do this.

Oxen had expected this, so he didn’t act surprised and accepted it.

“Okay, I’ll meet him tomorrow when I go to his store,” Oxen commented.

“Don’t make this situation terrible like your jokes,” Talia suddenly commented. Even though the situation was serious, she still hadn’t forgotten the joke about her manly voice.

Talia’s comment made the mood in the hall lighter as all the Void beasts, including Oxen, started laughing.

“Okay, let’s meet at this time tomorrow,” Oxen then told the group as the purpose of the meeting was done, and now it was time for everyone to leave.

“Hmm, don’t do anything that could offend him before we find out whether he’s an opportunity or a disaster for the Primal dimension,” One of the Void beasts solemnly told Oxen.

Oxen didn’t say anything but only nodded in response.

The Void beasts then started leaving one by one, and in the end, only Talia and Oxen were present in the hall.

Talia, who had an angry or solemn face all this time during the meeting, suddenly had changes as a smile spread across her face.

Oxen and Talia both stood from their chairs and rushed toward each other.

“How long has it been?” Oxen smilingly asked.

“69 billion years,” Talia responded. The next moment, she pushed her lips against Oxen’s.

As decided in the meeting, Oxen teleported right in front of the store’s door.

He had disguised himself as a human, but since the stature of humans was too small, he was a human with a height of around fifteen meters.

Having the privilege, the Void beast could travel to any place in the Primal dimension. When he thought of directly teleporting inside the store, his intuitions warned him that it would be disastrous for him if he attempted to do it.

When he appeared outside the store, a shocked expression appeared on his face.

The door was open, but he could neither see nor hear what was going on inside the store. When he attempted to peer through it, a sudden pressure attacked him, and soon a warning appeared in his head.

Fortunately for him, he hadn’t used a strong sense to peer through, or the counterattack from the store would’ve been of similar strength.

“More dangerous than expected,” Oxen mumbled as the danger level of Aakesh rose in his heart with the first look at the store.
