Chapter 234 - Kill
Chapter 234: Kill
As Georgia's saber clashed with the slab, a sound of metallic clash rang inside the weapons room; but, the sound didn't disturb any other customers who were checking out weapons they liked or wanted to buy.
The next moment, the slab lightened up. Instead of a single level appearing like the previous times, a vertical bar appeared.
The bottom end denoted the early Tao Seed, and the top end indicated intermediate Tao Seed. The blue light slowly began moving up and continued moving at the same rate until it breached the level of 89%, then the speed slowed down. It finally stopped after breaching the 93% mark.
Those who had seen her previous results couldn't help but get shocked, seeing such a growth in power. Georgia, on the other hand, didn't seem to have much change in her expressions except a hint of disappointment.
She expected her casual strike to reach intermediate Tao Seed, equivalent to her cultivation level, but since it was only 7% away from the mark, she immediately hid her disappointment. Eventually, she would breach that mark with some more training.
Since she had seen the improvement in her casual strike, it was now time for her to test her attack improvement on her previous most powerful offensive skill.
Time flew by.
Georgia's new derived skill gave her an absolute boost in her power. It broke through the late Tao Seed barrier like an arrow and even went higher than that.
Since all fifty virtual portals had already gotten booked, Georgia had nothing left to do and buy in the store after testing her attack power. She left the store, and after exiting it, she teleported directly to the royal palace of the Bisan Kingdom since the coronation ceremony was one of the reasons for her coming here.
Inside the store, Aakesh was explaining the products to one of the customers. He had requested the system to add the details of the products in the mind of newer customers, so he doesn't have to repeat the same thing to a new customer every time they entered the store.
The system had bluntly refused in response. It also told Aakesh that it was one of the duties of the store owner, and he would have to deal with it no matter how much time passed.
After getting a straight refusal from the system, Aakesh had no choice but to repeat the same thing to every customer that arrived in the store for the first time.
Eris taking lessons from the last two days, arrived early and became one of the first fifty members to enter Panagea.
He was currently a Level 4 adventurer who hadn't faced a single death until now.
Today he may have faced his death by mistake when a Level 10 Wolf invaded one of the dangerous areas he was trying to clear. Fortunately for him, he had the map of the entire territory, so he was able to run without falling into any other danger zone.
He had gotten into this situation mistakenly, and he also got out of this without knowing. He was running while the wolf chased him continuously.
While running, Eris came across a high-level settlement, but he couldn't do anything about it since if he took the wolf to the area, the inhabitants would take it as a challenge.
The settlement Eris came across was a rare one. It belonged to one of the top races of the Primal dimension, Aisads.
The settlement was a rare one because the Aisads not only believed the settlement to be their territory, they also took several miles of the area around it as part of their territory.
So, when Eris entered that supposed controlled land, the wolf followed him.
The moment the wolf touched the land, it disintegrated out of nowhere. Eris, seeing the sudden situation, couldn't help but feel horror.
He had no idea why did it happen? According to the map, the closest was a high-level settlement of Aisads, and he had no plans to enter that area at all.
He subconsciously became cautious despite knowing that someone who could disintegrate a Level 10 wolf could also kill him when he was only a Level four. He then looked around him in all directions to see whether the being would reveal itself.
Suddenly, an invisible pressure arrived and pushed him a few meters back. Before Eris could understand what had happened, an unfamiliar voice filled with disdain appeared inside his head.
"Since you're the ruler of the land, you can leave. If you dare to enter our territory again, you would have the same result as that lowly wolf."
Eris could feel the disdain, and he couldn't help but get angry, but the next moment, he calmed himself down.
Eris felt as if someone had put a mountain on his back, and the mountain began becoming heavy the more he stood, so he didn't wait a second. He took a deep breath and turned around to leave right away.
He then began searching for other weak areas to clear since it was the only way to level up for him for now. Eris needed relations with the settlements in order to get a quest, but the two low-level settlements he had come across, had refused to cooperate with him since they believed Eris would take back their land if he grew stronger than them.
Time flew by, and hours passed. The first group of Panagea customers had already left, and currently, the second group was doing their tasks in Panagea.
Aakesh was relaxing on his chair since there were no new customers at the time when he suddenly got an alert from the system.
[Host, someone is trying to break the restriction of teleportation inside the store.]
Before Aakesh could respond, another system alert rang inside his head.
[Host, the threat's body has died, and his soul has been taken as a prisoner.]
The system notified Aakesh of the killing of the man.
Aakesh had no interest in even checking the details of the man. In response to the man's futile effort, he only shook his head in disappointment.
He had expected it to happen since how can there only be customers who willingly pay for the products and buy them.. Similarly, Greed would emerge in many hearts, and those who couldn't control it would face the same result as the man.
