The First Store System

Chapter 1631 - 1631: Two Things Left to Do!

  • Next Chapter

Now that there was no system quest left for Aakesh to complete, he could ascend to the Primordial dimension any time he wanted. Since he also had the one sub-level increment reward, he wouldn't even have to cultivate; he could use it, face the tribulation, and then ascend.

But Aakesh decided to wait since he wanted to do two things before leaving the Sacred dimension.

The first was leaving his inheritance as he did in the Primal dimension, and the second was organizing a tournament, as it had been quite long since he did that.

The tournament was a great way to reward those with talents from poor backgrounds, as the prize allowed them an opportunity to fully utilize their talents.

Aakesh decided to do the two things together. Like in the Primal dimension, he would leave seven inheritances, which he would announce after the tournament, with the first-ranked reward being one of his seven inheritances, and the second-ranked reward being the location of one of his inheritances.

There was a great difference between the two, as only those who cleared his tests would get the inheritance. For the first-ranked participant, they would be his direct inheritors, while the second one had to first complete all the requirements before getting the inheritance.

Aakesh decided to give himself ten more years in the Sacred dimension and waited for the next day to arrive. Since his cultivation had already reached the peak, he no longer needed to meditate.

He also decided not to train that day, so he summoned his room door and walked inside, jumped on the bed, and fell asleep.

Time flew by, and the morning arrived.

As the first ray of sunlight touched the atmosphere, the store opened its door, announcing the start of a new day.

Customers thronged into the store in no time. What used to be a city was no longer a city but simply a vast, open space, as the city lords had expanded into the entire world, with it being the overlord. A space large enough to hold five capital cities had been left open around the store, where trillions of customers gathered every morning.

The world's affluence had grown proportionally due to the store's presence. The energy levels in any part of the world matched the core areas of powerful sects, as no one knew the cultivation level of the people living there.

Even an ordinary neighbor living in the next house could turn out to be a Sacred Creator, so the city was also very peaceful. Crimes had completely disappeared, while people treated each other kindly.

There was xenophobia before, but with the stringent and hard work of the city lords, things had turned out for the better. If utopia existed, it would look like that only.

Time flew by, and day after day passed. It has been seven years since Aakesh completed the last quest, and also seven years since the announcement of the Sacred tournament that would take place three years later inside the store.

Invitations have been sent to every living being of the Sacred dimension.

There were countless people in the dimension, but what the store lacked the least was space.

The invitation had a teleportation array engraved into it, so no matter where they were, they could directly teleport inside the store.

Before leaving, Aakesh wanted every conscious being to know the existence of the store, and he used that tournament for that. It wasn't for the store's promotion but to select the best for his inheritance, so the system didn't interfere. Every expense that was being spent came directly out of Aakesh's pocket.

He didn't lack money at all, so he was going to go big with rewards and splurge money like water.

His relationship with Lily and Khaval still remained icy as the two refused to forgive him. No matter what he tried, Khaval refused to speak with him and always looked at him with cold eyes, while Lily always looked angry.

Aakesh was also at his wits' end. He felt that fighting someone undefeatable was better than whatever situation he was in.

Fortunately for him, the two decided to follow him and set up their inheritances alongside him as Lily had done in the Primal dimension.

Today was going to be the start of setting up inheritance, as it would take three years for him to be able to complete everything right before the tournament's eve. He had already planned everything, so once the sunset arrived, he, Lily, and Khaval disappeared from the store.

In the darkness of the night, Aakesh appeared in the sky above the point where he had destroyed the secret realm seven years ago. He chose this location to set his first inheritance to complete the karma.

If he hadn't destroyed that, someone in the future would have found it and used it to rise through the ranks. Destroying the secret realm was equal to destroying their future.

Aakesh didn't fear the karma from it, but he didn't want to destroy someone's future, so once that fortunate one finally appears, they would have an even better inheritance to choose from.

There was no life in the area whatsoever. His inner world had also dried up due to the situation seven years ago, so he looked at Lily and Khaval and asked each of them to release three thousand of their most talented people living inside their inner world.

A Sacred Creator's inner world was akin to the Sacred dimension, where beings could cultivate up to the Sacred Monarch level, and since the inner world of the two was not only larger but also more perfectly evolved than other cultivators of the dimension, even ordinary beings in their inner world were very talented, let alone the talented ones of those.

Aakesh had already informed the two to select twenty-one thousand people for the inheritances from their inner world, so as soon as Aakesh said, six thousand people of different races appeared before him.
