The First Store System

940 The Fifth Product(8)

Chapter 940: The Fifth Product(8)

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing comfortably in his chair when he heard a sound coming from outside the door.

Aakesh opened his eyes and turned around, and an unfamiliar face appeared in his sight.

The customer was female and belonged to the Moon Elf race. It was a beautiful lady, as all Elves were. Her hair matched the moon in color: it was gray with a faint hint of brown. It was a unique trait of pure Moon Elves. Others had gray hair with no brown touch.

The moment she walked into the store, the system alerted Aakesh to the woman’s cultivation level.

Aakesh had asked the system to alert him whenever a customer above True God level stepped into the store.

Aakesh couldn’t help but raise his eyes in surprise as the Elf in front of him was a Peak Supreme God.

“Hello, store owner!” The woman seemed to have a motive in mind as she came straight to Aakesh, ignoring the surroundings.

Aakesh nodded in response to the woman’s greetings and waited for her reason for coming here.

The store had no product other than Panagea that could tend to even Divine Lords, let alone Supreme Gods. On top of that, spots in Panagea had already been booked for the day. Aakesh also thought that the woman had a purpose for coming here and knew about the products.

Aakesh’s conjecture turned out to be correct as the woman asked, “Is this store from the Primal Dimension?”

“Yes!” Aakesh replied since Aakesh already had an explanation for the woman knowing about the store’s ascension.

“So, you are the Dragon Reborn!” The woman’s tone suddenly turned respectful and she bowed to her waist.

Aakesh was taken aback by the sudden reversal of the situation. At the same time, his lips twitched as the explanation in his mind turned out to be correct.

Only three people in the Primal Dimension considered him the Dragon Reborn, and out of those three, one had ascended years before Aakesh’s ascension after having a conversation with him.

“No! I am not a Dragon!” Aakesh responded expressionlessly. He didn’t want to have the same conversation about him being a Dragon again.

“But your store is from the Primal Dimension?” The woman stood up in surprise.

When Elasha found out about the store working in the Sacred Dimension, it gave her hope that her husband could be brought back to life. Elasha needed to come up with a peaceful way to get to the store because the distance between her and it was too great for her even to consider traveling at her low cultivation level.

As there was a rule of only the male being in charge of the Asquith family, there was a similar rule in the Ay family. The Ay family was the top family of the Moon Elves and the direct descendants of Ay, the first Moon Elf from the Primordial World Tree.

In the Ay family, only the daughters could claim the throne and rule over the family and the Moon Elves.

Ayana presided over the current generation of Moon Elves. The royal family used the family name as the prefix. Ana was the real name, while Ay was the family name.

Ayana had seven daughters and three sons. Out of the seven daughters, only one would become the next Emperor of the Moon Elves, while the three brothers would become her consort to procreate the future generation and keep the bloodline pure.

Ay and Asquith were born at the same time, so both of them had similar personalities with different genders. Asquith and Ay had established the rules while seated next to one another, so the rules were similar.

Out of the seven sisters, Ayina and Ayah were currently leading for the high chair, and Ayriel, the youngest, was already out of contention in others’ minds since her talent was poor when compared with both Ayina and Ayah.

But Ayriel wanted the throne because she liked to be in control, and her not becoming the ruler would mean that she would be out of the direct family. She would still have Ay in her name, but the advantages that came with the name wouldn’t be hers.

These personalities of the seven sisters were public, as Ayriel didn’t hide her dislike for Ayina and Ayah. Due to this trait of hers, Ayana and Ayriel had a strained relationship.

Since Elasha needed to reach the store, she needed the help of someone who had power, and while thinking of her target, the name Ayriel rang in Elasha’s head.

Despite her character, Ayriel was still from the Ay family, and until there was a new Emperor, her status in the Moon Elves would only be secondary to that of Ayana, the present Emperor.

Elasha had seen with her own eyes how the store had changed the destinies of its customers, so she decided to use that factor to make Ayriel help her reach the store.

From that day on, Elasha began to search for ways to contact Ayriel. Her work paid off sooner than she thought it would because one of Ayriel’s subordinates was in town.

Using that subordinate, Elasha reached Ayriel.

“I was told you had some news for me,” The projection of Ayriel asked after Elasha told Ayriel’s subordinate to conduct a meeting.

Ayriel couldn’t meet everyone, so she left a projection amulet with every subordinate of hers so that she wouldn’t miss some event because of her absence.

“Greetings, your majesty!” Elasha bowed and respectfully greeted Ayriel.

Before telling Ayriel, Elasha wanted to make a contract with her since there were chances that after learning about the store, Ayriel would kill her not to let the news of the store be revealed to other sisters.

Ayriel frowned when she heard about the contract. Elasha’s status was even lower than that of a civilian Moon Elf since she was only from a branch race. Ayriel’s subordinate also grew angry after seeing Elasha wanting to make a contract with Ayriel.

Elasha was under tremendous pressure at that time, but she didn’t budge and stood fixated on the contract before revealing the news.

In the end, Ayriel agreed to sign the contract when even after being on the verge of death, Elasha refused to reveal the news.
