The First Store System

902 A New Day for the Store(1)

Chapter 902: A New Day for the Store(1)

[Host, the sun is about to rise on Thorr City!]

Aakesh was meditating when the system’s mechanical voice rang inside the store’s hall.

The next moment, Aakesh opened his eyes since it was time to end the meditation. As usual, his eyes flew to his right to see whether the blue screen had appeared. Only empty air was there, so Aakesh stood up from the floor and placed the stone back into the system’s space.

Time flew by, and the sun rose on Thorr and the nearby cities.

As the first ray of light dispersed the cover of darkness around the city, the store opened its door, announcing the start of another day for the store.

As Aakesh opened the store’s gate, he saw a group of people already waiting there.

Aakesh didn’t let them wait any longer, and he turned around and went to his chair while the group charged inside the store.

As soon as the first three customers walked into the store, they were surrounded by a transparent golden light. Those who entered after them didn’t feel any such phenomena.

An excited look appeared on Favan’s face as he saw himself being shrouded in golden lights. Yesterday, he had failed to be among the first three customers, so he had to wait six hours for his turn.

He didn’t think it was a big deal to wait for six hours, but the people who waited with him put pressure on Favan. They were generals, and because of what he did, they were aware of the store. The fear that someday the truth of his snitching on Garoun would reveal itself, and then Garoun’s father would kill him for revenge.

Even though the store owner had promised him, he couldn’t bring himself to forget about it since his life was at stake here. He wouldn’t have been this fearful earlier, but since his life had been going well in Panagea, he could sense a brighter future for him in Thorr City.

Those individuals who had led miserable lives were more terrified of death than anything else when they realized there was a chance for a better future. Favan was one such man.

Today, a group of seven people had been outside the store, waiting for the store to open.

The four customers not shrouded by the golden light were Bretton, Elera, Frederick, and Ashley. The first three customers were Favan, Garos, and Jemiah.

“What’s with this golden light covering only three of them?” Bretton couldn’t help but ask since it was his first time seeing it, and he was also unaware of the number of virtual portals available in the store. He had come this early in the morning after what Aakesh had told him yesterday.

pa(nd)a no vel Ashley, Frederick, and Elera already knew what the golden lights meant since two of the three were in that position yesterday. As for Ashley, she knew about the number of virtual portals.

Aakesh sat down on his chair and got into a comfortable position. He then expressionlessly told Bretton what the golden light meant.

“Not again,” Bretton cursed under his breath since he would have to wait for six hours despite coming this early.

Aakesh heard Bretton, but he ignored it. He instead looked at the three people who were covered by golden lights.

“Hello, store owner,” Favan greeted Aakesh as he became the first to approach him.

After receiving the usual response from Aakesh, Favan added, “Panagea for six hours,” and then he started taking the necessary amount of money out of his space ring.

Jemiah went to talk to Aakesh shortly after Favan did so because he, too, was eager to get into Panagea as soon as possible.

Garos looked at Elera as a sense of struggle passed through his eyes.

“Enter since it’s your turn. It’s not like I am going anywhere.” Elera understood what was going on inside Garos’ head, so she spiritually communicated with him.

Garos, who had been struggling with whether to enter Panagea alone or give his turn to someone else and then enter Panagea with the second group, felt his heart lighter after hearing his wife’s voice.

Garos didn’t struggle anymore, as he also approached Aakesh and requested him about Panagea. The next moment, he took out thirty-five lesser Sacred stones from his inner world and handed them to Aakesh.

Before leaving for the portal room, Garos turned around and looked at his wife. He seemed to have said something to her using spiritual communication and then went toward the portal room.

The issue of Panagea hadn’t been sorted at all after the first group left since there were still four people waiting for their turn, and only three virtual portals were there.

Aakesh understood what was going through the four people’s heads, so the next moment, a similar golden light covered three of them while only Frederick was left.

Aakesh didn’t even need to say anything, and the four people found out who would enter the second group.

“Store owner, six hours of difficult level training area,” Bretton approached Aakesh after finding out he was one of the three people in the second group.

The next moment, he took out three hundred lesser Sacred stones from his space ring and handed them to Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands as the mountain of stones disappeared from the store and appeared in the system space. After Aakesh got the information from the system that the payment was correct, Aakesh responded, “You can enter the training area!”

“Thank you, store owner,” Bretton thanked Aakesh, and then he proceeded toward the weapons room.

Except for Ashley, the other two customers also went toward the training area since they were both Divine Being level cultivators.

Frederick chose the moderate level difficulty, while Elera chose the difficult level difficulty, bringing another four hundred fifty lesser Sacred stones for the store. Garos had suggested this to Elera when he left for Panagea.

As for Ashley, she decided to check out more cultivation arts. Even though she had already exhausted the limit of one cultivation art per person for life for one level of arts, she still liked to see different varieties of cultivation arts.
