882 Squirming in Pain!
Chapter 882: Squirming in Pain!
Time flew by, and the ten hours of training came to an end.
The next moment, Garos found him forced out of the space. The golden barrier around him cracked open as his body no longer needed protection.
Garos could sense that there was some improvement in his spear skills, but it was so minor that he didn’t feel he could do what he couldn’t do before entering the training area.
(A/N: The growth in the Sacred dimension wouldn’t be as exaggerated as the Primal dimension since Gods & Demons are from the Sacred dimension in the first place.)
Garos left the weapons room with a smiling face as even a small growth was still a growth worth celebrating.
His footsteps halted, and then a mixture of excitement and rush appeared on Garos’ face as he saw one of his subordinates waiting in the store.
“Where are the others?” Garos hurriedly asked after reaching the man.
“Master, they are waiting outside,” The subordinate respectively said and then told him about what happened when they came here.
Garos lived in Thorr city, but the distance between his house and the store was several thousand miles. Even the weakest subordinate was an intermediate Divine Transformation, so it would take several hours for Garos’ subordinates to reach the store.
To solve that issue, Garos picked sixty of his strongest subordinates and gave them extra money for transportation. Due to the city being vast, transportation was well developed in Thorr City.
It took the subordinates around an hour to reach the store using the beast cart.
Garos had told the unerlings to be extremely respectful of the store owner and had also warned them if anyone of them offended the store owner, Garos would kill that person.
So after reaching the store, the subordinates followed inside one by one.
After seeing so many people entering the store at once, Aakesh understood that they were Garos’ subordinates and were there to buy the pills.
Since there were sixty of them, the store became overcrowded. The space inside the store wasn’t endless like it was in the Primal dimension.
So to make the store feel the same as before, Aakesh called one of the subordinates and told him that he would be the only one waiting inside the store while the others would wait outside the store.
Remembering his master’s warning, the subordinate did as told and asked the others to leave.

“You did well by following the order without asking any questions,” Garos complimented his subordinate.
“Go ahead and call them one by one,” Garos added as he understood why the store owner had given such an order.
The subordinate grew excited at his master’s praise since there would be rewards later.
Since the voice couldn’t travel outside the store, the man went outside and asked the closest subordinate to enter the store.
Garos excitedly went to his wife. There was a familiar face sitting there. When the man saw Garos approaching, his face turned pale from fright, but Garos ignored the man and left after gently picking Elera up.
The first subordinate soon cautiously entered the store. The man first searched for his master. After finding him near the store owner, the man gathered some courage and went toward them.
The subordinate bowed and greeted Garos and then the store owner.
“Store owner, three energy purification pills,” The subordinate said as his master told him.
Aakesh stood up from his chair, went to the counter, and picked out three energy purification pills.
“One hundred and fifty lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh said expressionlessly as the pills flew into the subordinates’ hands.
Garos had already taken the required amount of lesser Sacred stones out, so he pushed one part toward Aakesh.
Aakesh waved his hands, and soon the part disappeared from the store.
Aakesh didn’t return to the chair as more people were waiting to buy the pills.
Garos told his subordinates to wait outside after he took the pills from him.
The process repeated itself, as after the man left, the second subordinate came and asked for three energy purification pills.
Time flew by, and a few minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
Garos’ breathing was ragged as he pushed the last portion of one hundred and fifty lesser Sacred stones toward Aakesh.
Something seemed to have exploded in his heart after Aakesh began to return to his chair.
“Return with the others and tell them to prepare a banquet tonight,” Garos said quickly to his subordinate.
The subordinates bowed respectfully toward Garos, Elera, and Aakesh. The man then left the store since he had a banquet to prepare, and it was a time-consuming task.
“Thank you, store owner,” Garos said before heading to the waiting area without waiting for Aakesh’s reaction.
Garos had already asked Aakesh whether the intake of so many pills would hurt Elera. Aakesh had told Garos that it wouldn’t hurt as long as there was a fixed duration of thirty seconds between each pill. At the same time, the patient would also groan in pain as her bodily senses returned slowly to her, resulting in excruciating pain.
Garos could do nothing about the pain since it was internal pain. Sense-Blocking pills would harm Elera more than help, so there was no way he could give one to her.
Hardening his heart, Garos sat down on the floor, with Elera sleeping on his lap. He took the first pill out of his inner world and gently pushed it into her mouth.
pa(nd)a no vel Time flew by, and around an hour passed in a flash.
Elera, who still hadn’t woken up, was squirming in pain on the ground as the pill slowly pushed the harmful energy out of her body. Her internal organs that had stopped working were also activating slowly, which took the pain intensity to another level.
Garos felt as if someone was twisting a knife inside his heart when he saw Elera squirming on the floor. But since he knew it was better for Elera, he hardened his face and continued waiting for thirty seconds to pass.
Soon, the deadline of thirty seconds passed, and Garos pushed another pill with a hardened face.
More time flew by, and Elera had eaten 175 pills. She still wasn’t awake, but her body was only one step away from reaching its peak.
