878 A New Day for the Store(6)

Chapter 878: A New Day for the Store(6)

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, Host, for selling your first pill in the Sacred dimension. 5% of the selling cost of the product has been submitted to your inventory. You can use that money on anything.]

[Host, please see your screen for the first quest in the Sacred dimension.]

[Mission objective: Sell pills of every type to ten customers,

Requirement: Host, the store has successfully made the first sale of the pills. Now, its time for you to do your part and make more customers interested in the product,

Time limit: Seven Days,

Mission reward: Five new types of Lesser level pills,

Failure punishment: Two of the five pill types would randomly disappear, and the sales commission will get reduced to 2.5% of the product’s price for three years.]

[Quest Progress:

Body healing pill: 1/10,

Mental healing pill: 1/10,

Soul healing pill: 1/10,

Meditation pill: 0/10,

Energy purification pill: 0/10.]

Soon after Ashley made her sale, Ricky arrived, so Aakesh didn’t get the chance to listen to the system alerts. Now that Ricky had gone for Panagea and Garos had joined the waiting corner, Aakesh had enough free time to check the notifications.

The alerts were usual, so Aakesh didn’t waste much time on them and focused on the blue screen displayed in front of him.

Aakesh raised his eyes in surprise after reading the quest’s details since the mission requirement exclusively referred to the pills. Aakesh had expected a quest with the target of sales of all four products to appear, similar to the way things used to occur in the Primal dimension.

Even though things didn’t go the way Aakesh expected, a silent part of his heart still heaved a sigh of relief.

If the expected quest arrived, it would also set a target for the sale of cultivation arts in the requirement. Aakesh didn’t believe that the cultivation arts would sell in high numbers at this stage in Thorr City.

“Hey, system, has the way of generating quests changed in the Sacred dimension?” Aakesh still asked the system, trying to make sure whether it was a one-time phenomenon or a change in the way the system worked.

[Yes, Host!]

[From now on, the system would generate a quest for every product exclusively once the requirement of its first sale got fulfilled.]

This does not imply that the collective system quests have vanished. To get new products, achieving the requirement set by the collective quests is the only way.]

[Host, you haven’t achieved the requirement for the generation of the collective quest!]

In no time, the system responded in its usual automatic and emotionless voice.

Aakesh nodded in appreciation since the system responded with more knowledge than Aakesh asked for, removing the chances of Aakesh asking another question.

Aakesh didn’t focus much on the unfulfilled requirement for the collective quest since he was aware of it.

The requirement to generate a product specific quest was making the first sale, so similarly, the condition to activate the collective quest was to make the first sale of all the store products at least once.

“Then why hasn’t the quest for Panagea been activated again?” Aakesh asked as he suddenly thought of the product specific quests.

[Host, the requirement to activate the second product specific quest hadn’t been fulfilled!]

“What is the requirement?”

[The sale of thirty-six Panagea hours!]

Aakesh nodded. The requirement was half the day’s sales for the activation of the second product specific quest.

Even though the first quest had nothing to do with virtual portal rewards, the condition to complete it was still exclusive to Panagea, so the system considered it the first product specific mission.

After all of it, Aakesh returned his focus to the second screen floating in front of him. It showed the quest’s progress.

Even though Aakesh only checked the quest now, it didn’t mean it hadn’t already begun.

After seeing the progress, Aakesh nodded. Since Ricky bought three types of pills, the system calculated him as one customer for the ones he bought.

Aakesh didn’t worry about the seven days deadline since the energy purification requirement would be achieved today when Garos’s underlings arrived.

Aakesh believed that the store would fulfill the requirement way before the quest’s deadline. Now he had to see how quickly it would happen. Since there was no bonus reward, it didn’t matter, but it still felt good to complete it before the deadline.

Aakesh then waved his right hand, and soon after, light particles started to move away from the screen, resulting in their disappearance, waiting for Aakesh to call them back.

‘Eh! Why am I waiting? Shouldn’t I check out the two new products?’ Garos, amused, thought to himself.

He no longer had to carry any mental baggage now that he only had to wait for his underlings to arrive, and then Elera would wake up. He finally noticed the two new rooms, but in the disappointment of waiting for Panagea, he wasted several seconds there.

Aakesh, who was going to close his eyes to relax, stopped his actions as he sensed an approach. As Aakesh turned around, he noticed Garos coming toward him.

“Store owner, what are the two new products?” Garos respectfully asked, immediately stating his intention.

Aakesh didn’t waste any time and introduced the remaining products to Garos.

Aakesh now needed to make the first sale for every product to get its quest, and then all products to get a collective mission so that the store could get new products.

First, Aakesh introduced the weapons and the training area to Garos, and after that, it was the turn of the cultivation arts.

Garos couldn’t help but get disappointed after learning that the store only sold Lesser level weapons, which were of no use to him since he already had the Higher level weapon.

(A/N: The lowest level is titled “Lesser,” and one level above it is “Higher.” For the levels above it, the story would slowly explain.)

The same was the case for the pills, but since they had the ones required to treat Elera, Garos wasn’t disappointed. Garos’s disappointment became bigger after learning about the training area.

But it still wasn’t enough for what he felt after learning that the store had cultivation arts, but similar to the other two products, it was only Lesser level. At that time, Garos almost felt like dying from the uncomfortable feeling in his heart.

Garos wanted to ask Aakesh whether he hated Divine Lords. Except for Panagea, which was the first store product, the remaining three products were of no use to Garos.

“Store owner, is there something that I can use?” Garos asked sarcastically.

“Yes, you can use the training area with the Lesser Level weapons. You can also use the cultivation arts to re-cultivate and become even stronger than before. The first three types of pills would still work on you if taken in large numbers,” Aakesh understood Garos’ feelings, but since he wanted to make the first sale, he ignored the sarcasm and stated.

Garos could only stand frozen on the spot after hearing Aakesh. If not for Aakesh’s superior background and the invincible, immeasurable protector, Garos would have charged and grabbed Aakesh. But Garos knew his limits, so he calmed himself down and went toward the weapons room after thanking Aakesh.

“At least you can have a great weapon,” Garos first went to his wife and gently picked her up. After that, he went to the weapons room, carrying Elera in his embrace.

Aakesh, on the other hand, closed his eyes and began another of his relaxation sessions.

Garos’s jaw almost dropped to the ground after entering the weapon’s room. The countless murals engraved on the wall, the luxurious pills, and the counter carrying five types of weapons.

Staring at the murals, Garos could sense that they were extraordinary. But Garos couldn’t put his finger on the unusual factor related to the murals. He could see that these paintings told a story.

Elera and Garos were spear users, so he looked at the mural depicting a spear.

The first mural Garos found himself attracted to was a battle between a spear user against an opponent several times its size.

Garos’ mouth turned into an “O” shape as he followed the mural and found the spear user, killing the gigantic opponent in a single strike, while the enemy’s attack didn’t even reach the initial stage.

Garos then looked at several more of them. The more Garos looked, the more he found himself insignificant when compared to those spear users. Unfortunately for Garos, he failed to gain any epiphanies from those paintings. He could only look at them and wonder about their superiority.

A/N: Sorry, only one chapter for the day. In the next update, I will announce the details of the mass release in December.

Since a new product will be available before the end of this year, I decided to leave it up to you, my readers.

What should be the next store product? Comment.

We will then have a poll about the four products I will choose from the comments. This event will continue for the next month. Please comment!
